Lexus.
Dane stood in the doorway, staring at us like he'd just walked in on a horror movie he hadn't signed up for.
For a long moment, the room was filled with nothing but silence. Then, with excruciating patience, I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialed a number.
"Take her," I said when my security answered.
Billie clicked her tongue as I released her, and I narrowed my eyes, wondering if the click was meant for me or for Dane, the uninvited guest who had ruined the moment.
Within seconds, my men entered and grabbed her.
"Take her to the waiting room," I instructed, adjusting my cuffs as if nothing had happened.
As they pulled her away, I caught the slight shiver that ran down her spine.
I smirked.
Oh, we weren't done. Not even close.
Dane's eyes flicked between me and the door Billie had just been dragged through, his expression somewhere between disbelief and the urge to demand what the actual hell was going on.
