Chapter 11 - A Divine Lake

She rushed towards Arabella in a hurry only to observe herself unconscious body with her blood covered face .

"Aargh.. now, I've got two to carry.", Aurienbergie sighed as she brought Arabella close to Eldon . Then with the efforts combined with her physical training of years came into work, which helped her carry both of them throughout the forest effortlessly.

They arrived at the cottage and Aurienbergie tucked both of them in the bed.

The very next day , with the blissful rays of sun at the dawn , woke up Eldon . Before he could comprehend the things in front of him .

Aurienbergie arrived and greeted him good morning. "Are you feeling well?", she exclaimed with a raspberry pie in her hand which looked so fresh and devouring.

"Yes.. I feel better. How did we reach here? Weren't we trapped in that wind shield?", he asked Aurienbergie confused about the situation. It almost didn't seem possible for them to get out of that blasphemous thing.

"Oh, while you were knocked out , Arabella bravely fought for us to get out of that thing. She was the one that ensured our security and well being.", Aurienbergie said while she soaked the cotton cloth in the water and drenched it out then put it on Arabella's face, wiping it.

"You should go and get refreshed. Just to let you know, there's not a royal bathing area, so, bath at the nearby lake. It's not as good but it's refreshing."Aurienbergie told him about it while signaling her hand left showing the place where that lake was.

As soon as Eldon reached near the cupboard to grab a bathrobe. He asked her, " What am I supposed to wear?".

"Nothing!" Aurienbergie shrugged the question off and kept washing out Arabella's face.

"But... How can I remain naked?"Eldon questioned with a rather unpleasant look on his face. He wasn't a girl to begin with, it's not like he needed to cover anything, except his lower body.

"Just grab a towel."Aurienbergie grinned and said in a sarcastic manner indicating that his question was dumb.

As Eldon went out to the lake, he was stunned with the scenery. He beholded as much as it was possible.

The cyan color of the lake naturally adorned with the huge rocks, which also acted as a curtain and separated it from the main cottage. The green shrubs all around the lake with the astonishing scenery that lied ahead of it was just unexplainable.

It was way beyond beautiful. Aurienbergie told him to adjust according to it but it looked as if it was the lake who had to adjust him. It was absolutely a zillion times better than those at the royal residencies.

But still he thought that perhaps it was only the luring scenery and the water is actually not that good.

"I wouldn't mind dying at a beautiful place.", he chuckled to himself and went straight into the lake .

Oh boy, was it the opposite! Even that lake's water was magical. It was divine. Who knew that there was even a place like that at the end of the forest.

While he enjoyed his divine full bath. Arabella's fingers appeared to be twitching and Aurienbergie had noticed it. She gently tapped a few times on Arabella's shoulder trying to wake her up.

First hands and then subtle blinking of eyes, Arabella finally became completely concious. As soon as she gained her consciousness, she questioned Aurienbergie,"the wand?! Where's my wand???".

"There was no wand Arabella. All I found was this necklace lying on the ground beside her. You held it very tightly . So, I tagged it along, thinking it was probably something important to you."Aurienbergie reassured Arabella.

"Please bring me the necklace.",she politely asked her while she remembered that her wand had converted into a necklace when she was fighting for her dear life in that monstrous dense air. Woah, she had survived, she wasn't going to die that easily anyways; Arabella's mind talked within itself as if it was a great narcissistic or maybe a strong elf? Who knows.

Aurienbergie, who had gone to the another room, searched for he necklace in a little cloth which she had tagged along herself.

"Here you are. I wonder what's so special about you?"Aurienbergie's eyes widened as her hands picked up that necklace with delicacy.

It has been said very truly that a human's curiosity is it's best friend and foe. At times like learning and exploring, it is the only thing that keeps the interest going ,i.e. the curiosity to learn new things.

But at the same time, a human's curiosity can destroy it. Something which was initially adviced to not touch, watch, explore , ignites a burning flame of curiosity inside a human's brain.

At that moment, it was this curiousness, that was going to make Aurienbergie pay some real price. Some life lessons come unearned and they are the most knowledgeable ones. An experience always wins over an inexperienced bookworm.

While she held it in her hands, her brain divided itself into two members. Same as the opposition and acruling party. Each discussing over the pros and cons of wearing or not wearing that necklace.

She controlled her passive feelings and went towards Arabella.

"There, was that it?"Aurienbergie asked Arabella while lifting her hands above for her to observe the necklace carefully.

"Umm .. yess . That's it!"Arabella steeped get foot on to the floor and used the wall as a support to come close to Aurienbergie to get that necklace. Her legs trembling and her hands slowly shaking while she tried to held onto the things near her.

"You can sit. I'll give you the necklace. No need to rush, its not like the necklace is gonna run away by itself."Aurienbergie kept that necklace onto the chair and quickly ran to Arabella to give her support and she made her sat at the bed again.

All that progress of trying to reach the necklace was gone to waste, Arabella tsked inside her mouth, without letting out a single sound.

Aurienbergie again went near the chair to get the necklace and sat beside Arabella.

"Would you mind if I wear that necklace for a while... Not even a while. Can I just try it on once?"Aurienbergie asked her while still holding the necklace .

Just let that necklace go. It's not that big deal. Arabella wanted to say it but some things are better kept silent. So she just told her to not wear the necklace and quickly return it to her.

This statement broke her boundaries of curiosity. Before, the analysis of what she had heard could hit her. She put on the necklace.
