Sienna's POV
I turned to find Darius, Kieran's Beta, his face grim beneath quickly bandaged wounds.
"How bad?" I asked.
"Twelve dead. Twenty-eight hurt." His eyes swept over the damage. "Could've been worse."
"And Kieran?" There was an edge to my voice.
Something flashed across Darius's face – worry? Fear? "In his roo. The full moon transformation hit him hard last night, especially after fighting during the attack."
I nodded, trying to ignore the knot of worry in my chest. Kieran had been forced to transform while the fight raged – a dangerous combination with his curse.
"Zeke and Ronan?"
"The killer is with your brother in the south tower. We're keeping guards on them, but..." He paused. "They did help save us."
They had. When the Queen's final lightning spell shot toward us, Zeke and I had barely managed to block it with our combined ruby power. Without Ronan's well-timed arrow, we might all be dead – or worse, tools for the Queen.
"I need to see Kieran," I decided.
