After a few days had passed, the Preacher decided to take a walk again to the axis where he met a fate but not wishing to have a date thereof, and while he was going through the routes, he met a young Lady, who appeared to be way socially exposed than many in the community, and out of curiosity he asked.
"you're just coming back from somewhere?" and this was said while trying to walk ahead of her thinking she may take it for granted but she stopped and he did.
"Good Afternoon Sir, sorry do you know me from anywhere?" she asked and he said
"no, I know someone who knows you but I don't know if you know Him" the Preacher answered
"okay, who's that please? In this village or somewhere else?" she still asked
"well, He is everywhere and at every time, I'm talking about Jesus Christ" and at this point, the Lady assumed he was just hungry and took out 3 thousand naira notes to give to him.
"I'm sorry, I don't have much, but just manage this and take care of yourself, Jesus will bless you more, just take, I have to go now, I'm kind of busy" she said offering the money but the Preacher held her wrist and turned it towards her bag as if to put back the money
"I am not hungry, I just want to tell you about Christ if 5 minutes is not much of a resource to spend, may I?" he said and she was surprised and had to accept to hear him.
He continued the preaching and afterwards prayed with her, she still insisted on appreciating him with the notes this time instead but he refused.
"that's a Church, you can take it there, I'm not hungry today but thank you regardless" he said and went away, she with reluctance, did same.
After about 2 hours of walking, preaching and praying eventually. He decided to get a little snacks to put his body in a temporary order, after a few bites and gulps, he rested but heard an uproar, he turned his eyes to see the Lady being robbed, people stood but couldn't do anything because T-Boy would come for anyone who does and T-Boy, was there.
The Lady after being robbed was left to think in chaos but the Preacher arrived.
"Hey, don't be hard on yourself, can you tell me the items in the bag and the bag's name?" he asked but she was still perturbed and transferred aggression on the Preacher.
"They took my bag!, my phone!!, my wallet!!!, my atm card!!!!, my.....my...." she got lost in chaotic thoughts due to the situation but the Preacher still finally secured the names of the items in the bag and the name of the bag, her address, then left but.
"Oga Pastor, which kind trouble e be this now? My daughter just come village, e come, e visit me, that T-Boy no allow person sleep close eye for this village since dem born am, what e happen now?" the Lady's Grandma told the Preacher as she stopped him to.
"don't worry Mama, the Lord is in control, just remain calm, okay?" the Preacher responded hugging the woman and leaving the scene for home with the list.
He arrived home, put his body in external and internal order, slept for 2 hours and by waking up 8pm, he left home to meet T-Boy and he got welcomed by his boys who led him to T-Boy.
"the coming of the Son of Man shall be like that of the thief in the night, so Oga Pastor tell me, are you the Son of Man or The Thief in the Night?" T-Boy asked him in a smoke-filled room where only voices can be heard and the eyes can barely function.
"It depends on what will happen here tonight, but for now, I am Both" the Preacher answered and this made T-Boy to lift himself off the chair he was seated and walked to the Preacher.
"do you preach the word of God in the night or in the day or you want me to repent now?" T-Boy asked facing him
"repentance is personal, salvation is personal and the word of God works every time, it's best to repent when you are about to die" the Preacher replied and this made T-Boy to ask.
"why are you now here? You want to be a thief or a Son?"
"here is a list of the items I need, just give them to me in the peace of Christ and love of God and I will leave as the Son" the Preacher said handing him a copy of the items he took and T-Boy, after reading, tore it away and released some Man-made smokes on his face.
"the Bible says, touch not my anointed and do no harm to my Prophet, I'm respecting that word of God, do not let me violate it." T-Boy said walking away from him to his seat and his boys, all in there with him just in case the Preacher should be taken care of.
"I can't give you such, I don't have it, the door is still open for you to walk away, and it's not too late to do so" T-Boy said to the Preacher and the Preacher scoffed silently, moved to the door, as if to walk away but checking to see if there is still anyone of them outside and no one, then he closed the door with him inside and said.
"well, the Bible also says you shall not tempt the Lord your God, I guess you are violating that verse, I'm sorry, the door is closed, no one can walk away and it's too late to do so" the Preacher said after locking the door and putting the key in his pocket, T-Boy's boys were shocked and only needed a command to devour him.
"I have another list in case you forgot the items I came here for, you have 30 seconds to provide them peacefully or many more seconds to provide them otherwise" these words from the Preacher further infuriated T-Boy's boys and T-Boy asked them to do take care of him, but in turn, they became corpses and non of their blood was in the Preacher's hands, and this made T-Boy scared thinking he'd be killed as well.
"you asked me if I was a Son or a Thief, and I told you for now, I Am Both, well, all I need now is the items on this list and a promise that you will clean up this mess" the Preacher said presenting another list and T-Boy who's shivering had no other option than to accept, approve all requests and keep all promises.
The Preacher returned with the Lady's bag and items intact to the Lady's address and gave it to her, but...
"Jesus!!, who are you and how did you get the..."
"shhh don't wake your grandma up this night, she will wake the whole community, you should know how old women behave, just remember that the answer to any question you will ask about this retrieval is that The Lord is in control, goodnight" the Preacher interrupted her immediately by shushing her and went home afterwards, when he arrived home, it was 12:37am, he didn't see the need to put his body in order so, he slept off..
