Upon hearing Lin Yue's somewhat hoarse voice, Shen Jingrou furrowed her brows.
She stepped over to Lin Yue's side.
"Sit wherever you like!" Lin Yue propped one hand on the sofa, his back leaning against it.
Shen Jingrou sat down on the sofa next to him, the air filled with a strong scent of alcohol. She held back her discomfort, swallowing back the reminder she was about to give. After all, his girlfriend was standing right there, and she couldn't embarrass him.
"Manman, pour a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice for my sister-in-law!" Lin Yue glanced at Liu Manman and instructed her.
"Okay." From the moment Shen Jingrou entered, Liu Manman was nervous. Hearing Lin Yue's words, she nodded with a smile and turned to the bar.
With Liu Manman gone, the vast hall was left with just Shen Jingrou and Lin Yue.
Lin Yue turned his head wearily, his gaze slightly evasive as he glanced at the woman before him, quickly shifting his eyes away.
