Henry Thompson had no idea what was going on. Seeing Lily Turner slam the bathroom door, he assumed she was throwing a tantrum at him.
Furious, he took a large step forward, raising his hand to pound forcefully on the closed door. As he knocked, he shouted at the person inside, "Lily Turner! Do you have any idea what a state you're in right now? And you still dare to show me that attitude."
As he spoke, he increased the force of his hand.
Right now, Lily was feeling extremely uncomfortable all over. She wanted to reason with Henry, but at this moment, she didn't have any spare energy.
To better reduce her body temperature and to drown out the noise coming from outside, Lily turned the shower faucet to its maximum, allowing the cool water to cascade down from above. She pulled open her collar, letting the icy water flow inside.
