>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
The collective exclamation of the three upperclassmen, turned heads all across the cafeteria. Several students flinched, and a few even dropped their chopsticks. The trio's eyes were practically bulging out of their sockets, their jaws hanging open in cartoonish disbelief. But fortunately they werent that loud.
Makidon was the first to react, dramatically slamming both hands on the table and pointing at the tiny first-year. "N-n-no way!! Y-you're Yukinox?! T-the wolf guy?! THE DUDE WHO JUST GOT A WATER WOLF MOUNT YESTERDAY?!"
Aoi flinched at the sudden energy but nodded meekly. "Y-yes…"
Tsuchi's face was frozen in a rictus of confusion, struggling to process reality, as she started speaking not in her usual dignified manner. "W-wait, but Yukinox talks like… like some super chill, confident, jokester person! This… this is you?!"
"I-I just t-try to act cool o-online..." Aoi muttered, voice barely audible.
Akito leaned forward, rubbing his temples. "Hold on, hold on—so all this time, the guy we thought was some laid-back bro... was actually a super shy first-year girl?!"
Aoi twiddled her fingers. "Y-yeah…"
"DUDE—" Akito started, only to stop mid-sentence. "Wait, can I even call you dude anymore?"
"Y-you can if y-you want... b-but I prefer you call me by f-female terms... haha..." Aoi muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Makidon, still staring at her with wide eyes, suddenly burst out laughing. "OH MY GOD! THIS IS GOLD! THIS IS ACTUAL GOLD!!" She wiped an imaginary tear from her eye. "I can't believe this is the person who we played with yesterday!"
"Hoshigari Senpai...?" Aoi looked up nervously at Akito, who still hadn't said a word beyond his initial shock.
Akito exhaled deeply, as if letting go of the last remnants of his past understanding of reality. He crossed his arms, looked Aoi dead in the eyes, and with utmost seriousness declared, "I am NEVER living this down."
Aoi whimpered in embarassment.
Makidon cackled even harder.
"By the way, how did you know who we actually are?" Akito questioned
"Uhmm... I unintentionally overheard or maybe unintentionally eavesdropped w-when N-Nozomi Nozuki mentioned and s-said you three's real identities... last time in the s-school c-corridor days ago" Aoi said while touching her index finger tips
"Oh..." as Akito then muttered under his breath "honestly, it's kinda weird that Yukinox was actually like this in real life... haha..."
"But why did you sound like a man in your VR streams?" Tsuchi questioned
"Oh, uhmm, very authentic voicechanger, it costed quite a lot, b- but very useful"
"But why use a male voice changer?" Tsuchi asked
"I have somehow more confidence and expression when I am acting like a man, rather than my usual self"
"AWW!~ YOU'RE SO CUUUUUUTE!~" Makidon squeemishingly and excitedly said as without thinking and let her intrusive thoughts win as she comically and comedically grabbed and picked up Aoi and started pampering and rubbing her like a dog
Aoi couldn't react but only turned beet red and fainted slightly, her eyes swirling in comical dizziness.
"MAKI! PUT HER DOWN! I THINK YOUR SUDDEN PAMPERING IS ABOUT TO MAKE HER FAINT BECAUSE OF YOUR AGGRESSIVENESS!" Tsuchi shouted, trying to calm down Maki
With Akito putting his head down on the table and was laughing.
And thus, the school cafeteria witnessed a truly legendary lunchtime revelation. Even Nozomi Nozuki, who was eavesdropping on the conversation, was also surprised and baffled at the realization of Yukinox's true identity.
At a nearby table, a group of four boys (Akito's friends) watched the unfolding scene with expressions ranging from curiosity to outright disbelief.
Ren leaned forward, adjusting his glasses. "Since when did our Akito get this popular?"
Souta crossed his arms, frowning. "Yeah, why is he always surrounded by girls lately?"
Itsuki scoffed, dramatically waving his chopsticks. "It's like he has his own harem or something. Unfair, man."
Tsubasa, who had been silent up until now, merely hummed in thought, his gaze lingering on Akito.
Noticing this, Itsuki nudged him with his elbow. "Something wrong, Tsubasa?"
Tsubasa blinked, then shook his head. "Oh... it's nothing."
With a shared look, the group decided to drop the subject, returning back to their lunch.

Later back in EAO
-[Yomotsuhana Motel]-
A burst of shimmering light signaled Hoshigari's materialization into the digital realm, his Shinogama familiar, Noctatsu, appearing beside him, fully recovered. As his boots touched the floor, he stretched, rolling his shoulders with a sigh.
"Alrighty... let's see... Since the others will log in a bit later, I cooouuuld..." He muttered, swiping his menu open to check his inventory and equipment.
-[Inventory Menu (!)]-
[Solstice & Equinox Mac-11s (New)]
[Fixer Chip: Hexa-Core Fortis (New)]
[Trinket Mount: Nebula Stride Motorbike (New)]
Hoshigari started tapping the Fixer Chip. "These Fixer Chips... I should stock up on more of these helpful things."
With a flick of his wrist, he activated the chip.

"Nice! Now, where can I find a store that sells more of these...?" He opened his Digi-Map, scanning the high-tech kingdom city's layout. His eyes locked onto a specific store. "Ah! A place called Byte Sanctum... Looks promising. Alrighty, let's head out!"
Noctatsu, perched on his shoulder, tilted his head. "Where to, Sir Hoshi?"
"Byte Sanctum. They specialize in Fixer and Hacker Chips."
"Understood."
As they stepped out of the motel, they found Elodie sitting on a bench, lazily chewing on dango. She noticed them, finishing the last piece before tossing the skewer into a trash bin.
"Morning, Hoshigari."
"Heya, Elodie."
"Where you headed?" She asked, stretching.
"Byte Sanctum. Wanna come along?"
Her eyes lit up. "Yes, please!"
With a snap of his fingers, Hoshigari summoned his Nebula Stride Motorcycle, the sleek digital bike materializing before them. He hopped on, Elodie climbing behind him.
"Hold on tight!" He revved the engine, and like a bursting star, they shot through the streets towards Byte Sanctum.

>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
Once they arrived, Hoshigari and Elodie stepped off the bike as he snapped his fingers as his Nebula Stride Motorcycle dematerializes back into his inventory, as they faced the store, Hoshigari then said "So... this place is Byte Sanctum, eh?... Let's see what we have in store shall we?"
"Yes!" Noctatsu and Elodie agreed
As they then entered the store and were greeted by rows and rows of cartridges filled with Fixer Chips and Hacker Chips, and a female-looking AI holographic Oni was behind the counter arranging chips on the counter, as she noticed Hoshigari, Noctatsu, and Elodie
"Oh! Welcome fateforgers to Byte Sanctum! I am the store clerk, Ciphy! We have a selection of chips specifically made for the Hacker class and the Fixer class, please enjoy your stay and I hope you find something that tickles your fancy. And also, there is a testing room to test out your chips freely, please do try and test out your chips until you're satisfied for purchasing!"
As they then began searching and checking out the rows and rows of Fixer and Hacker Chips as Hoshigari managed to buy a few very very useful Fixer Chips and test them out, they did cost quite a hefty pretty penny though

After completing his purchases, Hoshigari and his companions stepped out of Byte Sanctum, the neon glow of the high-tech city reflecting off their forms.
"Please come by again, esteemed customer!" Ciphy, the AI store clerk, called out, giving them a cheerful wave as they departed.
The trio walked down the bustling streets, the ambient hum of Yomotsuhana's futuristic metropolis surrounding them. The city's towering holographic advertisements flickered with promotions for rare in-game items, while drones zipped overhead delivering packages to Oni NPC-run stores.
"That was hella expensive, jeez..." Hoshigari muttered, rubbing the back of his head as he checked his remaining credits.
"It indeed cost quite a big penny, sir Hoshi," Noctatsu noted, his sharp eyes observing the diminishing funds in Hoshigari's interface.
"I agree with your familiar friend, Hoshi," Elodie chimed in, stretching her arms above her head.
"Yeeeaaahhh... but these will help me out in my future encounters, battles, and other stuff, sooooo...." Hoshigari shrugged before pulling up his menu and activating and using the newly acquired Fixer Chips and add them to his Fixer Skill List.

[EAO Group Chat]
[Makidon]: boss wya
[Hoshigari]: Heading back to the motel rn
[Makidon]: i said wya tho
[Hoshigari]: O, Byte Sanctum
[Makidon]: what'd u buy there?
[Hoshigari]: Fixer Chips 4 more Fixer Skills
[Makidon]: ight, pls hurry back
[Hoshigari]: Alr, chill out
[Yukinox]: We should create a clan
[Hoshigari]: Huh?
[Makidon]: huh?
[Sushi Slice]: I agree with Yu, creating a clan & creating a clan base will be beneficial for us.
[Makidon]: really?
[Hoshigari]: You think so?
[Yukinox]: Mhm
[Sushi Slice]: Yes, very much so. Joining or creating a clan in EAO is a great way to enhance your experience. You get access to exclusive missions that offer better rewards, like experience points, in-game currency, and Myth Spirit enhancements. Clans also have buildings that provide useful benefits, like boosting experience or helping with crafting and abilities. It's not just about solo play; many quests require teamwork, and being in a clan makes it easier to find reliable teammates. Plus, clan wars offer valuable rewards and resources. There's also the advantage of pooling resources and getting clan-wide buffs, which makes progression smoother. Overall, being in a clan fosters a sense of community and provides both support and opportunities for growth.
[Makidon]: huh... cool!
[Hoshigari]: W8, what are Myth Spirits???
[Makidon]: oh ye
[Sushi Slice]: Myth Spirits are powerful entities in EAO that enhance a player's abilities based on their playstyle, class, and accomplishments. Once you reach level 50, the game recognizes your progress and grants you a Myth Spirit that aligns with how you've been playing—whether that's through combat, exploration, or other activities. These spirits give unique buffs and bonuses that complement your strengths. For example, if you're a spear-wielding warrior, you might get a Myth Spirit that boosts your damage when using spears. They're not just random; they're tailored to help you become even better at what you do. They're like your personal guide, empowering you in ways that fit your gameplay.
[Hoshigari]: U r just a living EAO guide, huh?
[Makidon]: nerd
[Yukinox]: lol
[Sushi Slice]: Shut up, pls stop
[Hoshigari]: Lol
[Makidon]: lol
[Yukinox]: lol
[Sushi Slice]: STOP IT ;{
[Hoshigari]: Alr heading there rn
[Makidon]: hurry up!
[Yukinox]: alr
[Sushi Slice]: See u soon Hoshi!
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
Hoshigari thought to himself. "Myth Spirits, huh? Is that what Ms. 4th unleashed back during the Vhalzakyr fight? Interesting..."
With a snap of his fingers, his Nebula Stride Motorcycle materialized onto the road in front of him, its sleek futuristic design humming with energy. The neon accents pulsed faintly as if eager to take off. He turned to Elodie, nodding toward the bike.
"Alrighty, we're heading back to the motel to meet up with the others."
Elodie eagerly hopped onto the back seat, wrapping her arms securely around Hoshigari. "What's the plan for today?" she asked, her tone filled with curiosity.
"We're gonna be creating a clan," Hoshigari announced confidently.
"OOH!" Elodie perked up. "If you're looking for a suitable building to establish your clan base, I can help you find one! I know some prime locations."
Hoshigari glanced back at her, pleased. "That would actually be a huge help. Thanks a bunch, Elodie!"
"I'm here to help you after all!~" she chimed playfully.
"And that is much appreciated," Hoshigari replied with a grin.
With a quick rev of the engine, the Nebula Stride roared to life, and in a burst of dazzling speed, they streaked down the roads once again, weaving between the towering cityscape, heading straight back to the motel.
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
-[Yomotsuhana City Street]-
We then cut to the squad walking and roaming around the kingdom city of Yomotsuhana.
"So, Elodie, what did big pops say about our clan building situation?" Hoshigari asked Elodie.
"I'm messaging him about it right now, please wait a moment. Let's just keep exploring and walking around while we're waiting for his reply," Elodie replied as they continued strolling through the bustling city streets.
"Alrighty then," Hoshigari responded.
"Yo! A restaurant! I'm hungry somehow, so... let's eat!" Makidon said cheerfully like a young kid.
"Yeah, you're kinda correct though, how do we feel hungry if this is VR..." Yukinox wondered aloud.
"It's a full dive VRMMORPG, that enough should make sense," Sushi Slice explained.
"I guess so," Makidon and Yukinox agreed.
They entered the restaurant, each placing orders as the aroma of delicious digital virtual dishes filled the air. Hoshigari bought a huge bowl filled with a mountain of Gyoza (only 150 Credits), Sushi Slice had a bowl of tonkatsu ramen, Makidon chose a long plate filled with skewers of barbecue meat and veggies, and Yukinox got a plate of fried chicken wings. They chatted and laughed while they ate.
[Credits: 1,997,614,590]
"Yo munch munch Sushi, you already forged yourself that new legendary undead katana, right?" Makidon asked while chewing.
"Slurp, ah yes, my Marrowfang Katana. It deals heavy slashing damage and simultaneously inflicts poison and bleed status effects to the target. Combined with this Solace Edge Lazer-Blade Katana, which is excellent for cutting through weak to normal armor and steel, they'll be a deadly duo in PvP and PK battles. Slurp!" Sushi Slice responded with satisfaction.
"Sounds actually scary going up against that duo," Makidon commented.
"How 'bout you, Maki?" Yukinox asked, pointing with her chopsticks.
"Nom mmm! Yeah, this True Aegis Greatshield is super useful. The Medusa's head in the center helps by turning enemies into stone for 20 seconds. Another skill unleashes snakes from the shield to bite nearby enemies, dealing piercing and inflicting poison damage for 5 seconds. And finally, there's a shield bash that deals high impact damage and heavy knockback and stagger," Makidon said proudly.
"Sounds real powerful," Yukinox acknowledged.
"Yeah, but it's a bit heavier than my previous one. How 'bout you, Yu? How's your new fancy sword?" Makidon asked, chewing another skewer.
"Ah, yeah, this Astral Render longsword is really powerful. The blade even looks like it was forged from the fabric of space and stars. But I won't spoil its skills for y'all just yet," Yukinox said, grinning as she ate another wing.
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
Meanwhile, Hoshigari silently munched on his Gyoza, with Noctatsu calmly napping on his shoulder. Lost in thought, he activated his status screen.

"Yeah, that's that, done with the stats," he thought with a smile.
"-Boss! Yo boss! Boss? Yo boss!" Makidon called out, snapping him from his focus.
"Oh, my bad, sorry. Busy adding SP to my stats. What were ya asking about?" Hoshigari replied, popping another Gyoza into his mouth.
"I was askin' how are your new golden guns? Do they feel great when firin' 'em or somethin'? They gotta feel great when pulling down on the trigger. It IS full auto," Makidon asked, pointing a skewer at him.
"Ah, these golden Mac 11s, Solstice and Equinox? Nah, I haven't tried 'em out yet, but I'm pretty sure they'll feel great when I pull the trigger," Hoshigari responded.
"Ah, oh, alright then," Makidon said, starting another skewer.
Then, Elodie perked up, pulling out a small device. "There, my dad just sent me the available building location for establishing it as your clan and clan building. Please finish your food so we can get to the available building sooner."
"Alright!" Hoshigari, Sushi Slice, Makidon, and Yukinox replied in unison.
With that, they quickly finished their meals and headed off to check out the available building location for their future clan base.
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
The building looks like if an ancient Japanese pagoda and a semi-tall cyber skyscraper had a baby.
"Woah..." They all wowed in awe and amazement.
"Y'sure this is the building, Elodie?" Hoshigari asked bewilderingly and in awe.
"Yup! It would cost about only 8 mil Creds," Elodie said in a nonchalant manner.
"8 mil creds for ownership of this entire building huh?" Hoshigari muttered.
As Hoshigari turned to his friends and questioned, "Four way split?"
With the other three agreeing with a nod, "Four way split."
As they then split the payment and each paid 2 mil creds.
[Credits: 1,995,614,740]
"Congrats Hoshigari, Sushi Slice, Makidon, and Yukinox, this entire building is now yours to own!"
"WOOHOO!" Makidon and Yukinox celebrated, with Sushi Slice clapping.
"Let's head inside and have a little tour, shall we?" Elodie suggested.
"Yes please!" They shouted in unison.
As they then went inside to the building lobby and Elodie started with the building tour.
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
Before diving into the depths of the tower's purpose, Elodie raised her voice, her white hair swaying gently with her enthusiasm.
"Before we explore the individual floors, allow me to introduce you to the beating heart of our Clan Building—the Main Lobby!" she declared, spreading her arms with flourish.
[Main Lobby – The Entrance of the Clan Building]
A grand chamber stretched before them, exuding majesty and modernity. The ceiling soared high above, embedded with ambient lights that shimmered like constellations. Smooth, polished stone floors reflected their silhouettes, and the surrounding walls shifted with animated holographic displays. Footage of clan achievements, real-time clan member activity logs, and shimmering future mission bulletins floated like streams of information.
"What a wide and expressive lobby," Hoshigari commented, eyes scanning the displays.
"I can say the same!" Sushi Slice replied, adjusting her glasses.
"Agreed here," Makidon chimed in, arms folded proudly.
Yukinox gave a silent but approving nod.
Then, in a gleam of light, two holographic forms flickered into view behind a hovering reception desk.
[Holographic AI Clan Receptionists]
Lyra - A gentle, calm AI with flowing silver hair and a soft, melodic voice. Her movements were graceful, almost human-like, with a touch of serenity in her holographic gaze.
Zephyr - Vibrant and energetic, with electric blue highlights in her hair and a warm, inviting grin. Her voice carried a youthful spark, bouncing with cheerful curiosity.
"Welcome to your future stronghold!" Lyra greeted with a courteous bow.
"Heeeyyy~ New clan members! Ooh, I'm so excited to assist you!" Zephyr chirped, doing a little spin.
"These two are the first faces you'll meet," Elodie explained, stepping beside the desk. "Lyra manages scheduling and formal inquiries, while Zephyr ensures everyone feels at ease and informed."
"Oh uhmm… nice to meet'cha!" Hoshigari greeted, scratching the back of his head.
"Happy to meet you two!" Makidon added with a confident wave.
Sushi Slice and Yukinox both bowed politely.
Elodie gestured toward the row of elevators beyond the reception.
"Now then… Shall we ascend—or rather, descend first—to where everything begins beneath our feet?"
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
-[Basement Floor – Resource, Scrap, and Weapon Storage & Clan Vault]-
The elevator doors slid open with a mechanical hum, revealing a utilitarian yet vital floor. Dim lighting cast long shadows over crates, barrels, and stacked piles of resources.
"It may not look like much now, but this is where the soul of sustainability begins," Elodie said, stepping into the cavernous space.
Resource Storage:
Raw and unrefined materials—wood, ores, and enchanted fragments—lined the shelves. Magical reagents glowed faintly in jars. It smelled of earth, dust, and potential (soon in the future).
Weapon Storage:
Racks of weapons, some still sharp, some dulled or broken, stood in rows like slumbering warriors awaiting purpose. From enchanted daggers to prototype cannons, it was a craftsman's haven (soon in the future).
Clan Vault:
An enormous steel vault door sat at the far end, glowing with protective magical runes. It thrummed with sealed energy.
"This will hold our rarest treasures," Elodie explained. "Access is strictly limited—only the Clan Leader, Resource Manager, and Finance Manager are permitted inside."
"It may be empty for now," Hoshigari said as he stepped past a few empty crates, "but soon it'll be packed, huh?"
"Correct," Elodie affirmed. "Unless you purchase floor expansion upgrades."
"Interesting," Sushi Slice whispered, already thinking of logistics.
"Let's head back up," Elodie said. "Time to explore the core."
"Ok!" the four said in unison.
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
-[1st Floor – Hangout Area & Trading Zone]-
The elevator opened to a welcoming and vibrant floor.
"Welcome to the Social Core!" Elodie announced. "Here is where bonds are forged and trades are held and initiated!"
Hangout Area:
Plush lounges, glass tables, and entertainment stations surrounded a central fountain that glowed softly. Clan members could laugh, rest, or play games together in a stress-free environment.
Trading Zone:
A sleek market lane with booths and display cases. Holographic price tags floated beside rare weapons, potions, and crafting materials.
"This is where you'll unwind after intense missions," Elodie said. "Our Social and Communication Manager ensures trades are fair and that the vibe stays friendly."
"What a wide area! Cool!" Hoshigari nodded approvingly.
"So hangouts and tradings take place here, huh?" Makidon muttered.
"This place will get lively…" Yukinox commented, glancing around.
"Indeed," Sushi Slice agreed.
"Next, the minds behind the muscle!" Elodie gestured, and they ascended to the next floor.
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
-[2nd Floor – Resource & Exploration Management, Clan Progression & Upgrades]-
The elevator doors slid open with a soft chime, revealing a bright, tech-heavy corridor lined with digital panels and glowing maps that pulsed with life.
"Welcome to the 2nd floor," Elodie announced as she stepped out, her white hair swaying behind her. "This floor houses two of the most critical strategic components of the clan: Resource & Exploration Management and Clan Progression & Upgrades."
"This already looks intense," Hoshigari muttered, eyes sweeping over the intricate displays.
"It's like a war room mixed with a treasure map," Yukinox added, stepping forward cautiously.
Resource & Exploration Room:
The team entered a large room filled with towering, animated holographic maps and data boards. Some screens displayed terrain scans of forests, deserts, and ruins. Others showed grids with fluctuating values of ores, herbs, and monster populations.
"This is where our best explorers and gatherers will report their findings," Elodie explained. "Every new area, rare item, or field boss location gets documented here. See these marks?" She pointed at a pulsing red beacon on the map. "This one indicates a newly discovered dungeon zone."
"That's definitely going to be fun to scout," Hoshigari grinned.
"And challenging," Sushi Slice added, arms folded, observing the maps.
"This room's gonna be like our mission launchpad," Makidon said, eyes wide. "Kinda like a strategy game come to life."
Clan Progression & Upgrades Room:
Adjacent to the exploration room was a clean, metallic command center. Floating UI panels hovered in the air, each labeled with clan stats, ongoing upgrades, and proposal ballots.
"This," Elodie said, stepping inside, "is where the clan's evolution is tracked. From upgrading buildings to voting on the next floor expansion, it's all managed here. Members can even propose ideas for additional amenities."
Sushi Slice walked over to one of the consoles and tapped it. The interface flared to life, displaying a list of potential upgrades: 'Reinforced Vault Security', 'Market Expansion Booths', and 'Dorm Room Customization: Tier II'.
"Ooh… we can upgrade our dorms too?" she asked.
"Yep! Even add hot tubs, mini-libraries, or sparring corners if you want!" Elodie winked.
"That's awesome," Yukinox mumbled, already imagining.
"Once our clan's reputation rises," Elodie added, "we'll unlock special privileges and advanced resource tracking. Ready for the next floor?"
"Ready!" they all echoed.
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
-[3rd Floor – Unique Bosses & Weapons Management]-
The elevator ascended smoothly, opening to a darker, more reverent atmosphere.
"Whoa... this place feels like a hall of legends," Hoshigari said, stepping out into the echoing silence.
"Welcome to the 3rd Floor," Elodie said. "Dedicated to Unique Bosses and Legendary Weapons."
Unique Bosses Room:
The war room spread out before them like a shrine of battle. Giant digital murals depicted fearsome beasts in mid-roar, and central pedestals projected past battle replays in fully interactive 3D holograms.
"This is incredible…" Yukinox whispered.
"These are our trophies," Elodie said proudly. "Every Unique Boss we've taken down gets documented here—location, strategy, tactics, everything. And when we face Apex Paragons in the future, their data goes here too, if we're lucky enough to survive and record it."
"It's like the 8th floor of Onibashira Palace," Hoshigari commented.
"I was thinking the same thing!" Makidon grinned.
Weapon Collection Room:
Next, they entered a secured gallery lined with glowing weapon pedestals. Each item shimmered under its own spotlight. An ornate scythe. A thunder-infused bow. A shield made from dragonbone.
"These are the prized drops from Unique Bosses," Elodie explained. "Each one's infused with history and essence. They're not just weapons—they're legacy."
"This… this room's sacred," Sushi Slice whispered in awe.
"Agreed," Hoshigari added. "We'll fill this place with trophies of our future battles."
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
-[4th Floor – Clan Missions & Cooperative Goals Management]-
The fourth floor gave off a more official vibe—half military command center, half bustling dispatch office.
"Damn, look how high we are now!" Makidon said, eyes catching the wide glass panels showing the city skyline.
"And now, we enter the nerve center of clan coordination," Elodie announced. "The Clan Missions and Cooperative Goals hub."
Clan Missions Room:
An enormous bulletin board flickered with dynamic quests. Holograms showed images of monsters, areas, and mission targets. A smaller screen nearby displayed the current status: Available Missions: 10Active Missions: 0 | Missions Completed: 0
"This is where clan members can pick up tasks ranging from simple gathering missions to apex-level boss raids," Elodie explained. "Some are for individuals, others require full squads."
"Everything's tracked and ranked too," Hoshigari noted, reading the digital board.
"Yep! There's even a weekly leaderboard," Elodie said. "Complete more missions, rise in rank, and gain clan perks."
Cooperative Goals Room:
The next room featured a circular table surrounded by seats, above which a huge projection showed the clan's long-term future available plans: Construct New Training Grounds | Expand East Wing Dormitories | Launch Joint Raid with Emberfang Clan.
"These goals require collective effort," Elodie said. "The whole clan works together—whether it's contributing resources or coordinating massive raids."
Yukinox stepped forward. "So, these quests are strictly for clan growth?"
"Correct, Mr. Yukinox," Elodie confirmed with a nod.
"I see. That makes these… more than just missions. They're like milestones."
"Exactly. Everyone plays a part. Whether you're a frontline fighter, crafter, scout, or strategist—this floor shows how unity makes us strong."
Makidon cracked her knuckles. "Alright! Bring on the big ones. I wanna see my name on that board!"
Elodie grinned. "Then you're going to love what's next. The real heart of our sanctuary. Onward to the 5th floor."
"Let's go!" they all cheered in unison as the elevator doors closed, carrying them upward once more.

-[5th Floor – Clan Dormitory, Living Room & Kitchen]-
The elevator opened with a gentle chime, unveiling a warm and cozy atmosphere that contrasted with the high-tech rooms below. The floors shifted from polished metal to sleek, dark wood, giving off the vibe of a luxurious mountain retreat.
"WOAH NOW THIS PLACE IS HELLA NICE!" Hoshigari gasped, stepping out of the elevator with sparkling eyes.
"I A HUNDRED PERCENT AGREE WITH YOU, BOSS!" Makidon cheered, hands on her hips, spinning slowly to take in the view.
"Wowie... the view from up here is amazing," Yukinox whispered, walking toward the large bay window.
"Indeed." Sushi Slice folded her arms gracefully, a rare smile appearing on her face.
Elodie chuckled. "Yes. Here, we have the Clan Dormitory—a peaceful, private area for the founding members of the clan to live and unwind."
Clan Dormitory:
Each member was led past doors embedded with magical keypads that opened to their assigned rooms.
"These dorms are yours to customize—your own private sanctuaries," Elodie explained, tapping a panel that summoned a floating holographic assistant. "With this assistant, you can design your layout, place furniture, even simulate your favorite places for inspiration."
"WHAT?! WE GET OUR OWN DECORATABLE AND DESIGNABLE CLAN DORM ROOMS?!" Makidon's shout echoed down the hallway.
"Indeed! You may let your imaginations and creative ideas go wild!" Elodie smiled brightly.
"AWESOME!" Makidon's eyes gleamed like twin suns, fists clenched with excitement.
Living Room:
A massive common space sprawled out in the center of the floor—soft couches, a floating fireplace, and ambient lighting gave it a dreamlike vibe. Various gaming pods and bookshelves lined the sides.
"If you're not in the mood for fighting or strategizing, this is where you'll likely find your fellow clan members hanging out," Elodie said, motioning toward the room. "It's also perfect for post-mission storytelling or simply relaxing with good company."
"I'll definitely be in this room most of the time, heheh…" Yukinox admitted softly, flopping onto a bean bag.
Hoshigari grinned teasingly. "Yu, now that I know your real-life identity, I just can't imagine you acting this way on purpose."
"I know, please don't judge me…!" Yukinox shrank slightly, pulling her hoodie up over her face.
Kitchen:
Beyond the lounge, a modern and magical kitchen opened up—automated chef arms, enchanted stoves, and a massive pantry lined with glowing containers.
"Don't forget, when you're hungry after a big mission, the kitchen is always ready," Elodie said. "You can craft buff-granting meals, share stories, or experiment with new dishes."
"Hey, Sushi, you're definitely gonna be in this room most of the time, huh? You cooking lover you~" Makidon teased.
Sushi Slice adjusted her glasses. "Stop, but yes, you're correct. I'm interested in cooking and recreating the dishes and delicacies of EAO."
"Kinda excited to taste 'em!" Makidon licked her lips.
"I could say the same," Hoshigari added.
"Same for me too," Yukinox agreed shyly.
Elodie clapped her hands once. "And with that, let's move on to the final level—the top floor."
"Coming!" they all said in unison, stepping into the elevator for the last time.
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
-[Top Floor – Meeting Room & Clan Leader's Office]-
The elevator doors opened with a gentle hum, revealing an atmosphere unlike any other. The air here was crisp and purposeful, the kind of atmosphere that spoke of destiny, decisions, and dreams.
"Finally, we've reached the Top Floor—the pinnacle of the building," Elodie announced proudly. "This is where all major decisions are made and where the Clan Leader manages important matters."
Meeting Room:
A massive circular chamber stretched before them, with a holographic roundtable at the center. The table displayed shimmering 3D models of territories, clan activity graphs, boss encounters, and a full calendar of events.
"This room is where the clan's strategic discussions take place," Elodie continued, walking around the table as it rotated with visuals. "Missions, alliances, debates—this is where they're all hashed out."
Around the table sat sleek high-backed chairs, each one automatically adjusting to the person who approached.
"Every founding member has a say. Every voice here matters," Elodie said.
"The scale of this room... it's like something out of an anime war council," Hoshigari whispered, visibly impressed.
"That's exactly what I was thinking," Sushi Slice nodded.
Clan Leader's Office:
At the far end of the floor was a set of grand doors, etched with both ancient and futuristic runes. They opened silently to reveal the Clan Leader's sanctum.
The room was filled with trophies, framed mission commendations, historical relics, and a massive desk in the middle. Behind the desk was a panoramic view of the game's ever-evolving cityscape.
"This is the Clan Leader's Office. A place of authority, vision, and solitude," Elodie said quietly. "Only those of high rank or deep trust are invited here. It's where final decisions are made, where burdens are shared, and futures are shaped."
Yukinox walked to the window, staring out. "The view is definitely fit for whoever is going to be Clan Leader, eh?"
"Yup. I mean, the view's real great," Hoshigari nodded.
Elodie turned, facing the group as a whole. Her voice grew softer, more emotional.
"And with that, our tour of your new Clan Headquarters comes to an end. Every floor has its purpose—but together, they form the heart and soul of your clan. From battles and bonding to strategy and sanctuary—this is your legacy in the making."
>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---<<<>>>---
As Elodie exited the meeting room, she gave the group one last look and a warm smile. "Now you four have to establish your respective guild roles, and decide on what you all should name your clan. Please excuse me as I'll go and inform my father with the new news. I will be waiting in the 5th floor's living room if you'll ever need me." With that, she vanished down the elevator, leaving behind an air of noble duty.
The room was quiet for a moment.
"Alrighty... so... what's next?" Hoshigari asked, leaning back in his seat with a relaxed grin.
"Well, just what Elodie-san said," Sushi Slice replied, arms crossed. "We have to establish our clan founding member roles."
Hoshigari, Makidon, and Yukinox exchanged knowing glances—there was no hesitation.
"Sushi Slice is Clan Leader!" they declared in unison.
Sushi's face fell into comedic exasperation. "I KNEW IT! Sigh... I might as well be managing our clan's finances, clan vault, economy, and trading too."
"Thanks, Tsuchi~!" the trio said in playful harmony.
"SHUT UP!" she barked back, her cheeks puffed and pouted in comedic mock anger, to the group's laughter.
Hoshigari waved a hand. "Alright, alright. So, what else are the different clan roles?"
Sushi began listing them off methodically. "We have: Manager of Social & Community Engagement, Manager of Clan Progression & Upgrades, Manager of Clan Missions & Cooperative Goals, Manager of Resources & Exploration, and lastly, Manager of Unique Bosses & Unique Weapons."
Makidon raised a gauntlet-clad hand with pride. "Dibs on Manager of Social and Community Engagement!"
"Respectfully so," Hoshigari nodded.
"Ok, Maki will be the manager for that," Sushi Slice affirmed, writing it down in her system interface.
Yukinox spoke up quietly. "I guess I'll go with being the manager of Clan Missions and Cooperative Goals... and Clan Progression and Upgrades too."
"Yu will be the manager for those two," Sushi confirmed with a small smile.
Hoshigari stretched his arms. "I'll be the Manager of Resources and Exploration—including Unique Bosses and Unique Weapons."
"Alright, roles settled." Sushi closed the interface with a swipe. "Now comes the tricky part... naming our clan. Any ideas?"
The room buzzed with creative energy.
Makidon stomped her boot. "BlitzStomp sounds so sick!"
Yukinox mumbled, almost inaudible, "Maybe... High Rate Legion...?"
Sushi whispered to herself, "Moonveil Oath... has some elegance..."
Through it all, Hoshigari remained silent, watching the neon glow of Yomotsuhana City from the window. The stars shimmered beyond the horizon.
Then, he spoke. "Starlight Recoil."
The girls paused.
Makidon raised a brow. "Huh? What kind of name is that supposed to be, Boss?"
Sushi tilted her head, intrigued. "It sounds... poetic."
Yukinox's eyes widened. "...Like a paradox."
Hoshigari turned to them, his voice filled with gravity. "Because every time we fall back, we rise again—brighter, sharper, stronger. Like the recoil of a gunshot… that fires us into the stars. No matter how far we're pushed back, our comeback will always shine brighter than before. That's what we are. We're recoil… with a starlight's purpose."
A solemn silence settled over the room.
"Uhhh... Guys, you good?" Hoshigari questioned, trying to break the silence.
Then—
Makidon grinned. "Damn, that's hot."
Sushi nodded with a rare soft smile. "A name with soul."
Yukinox blushed behind her voice filter. "...I kinda like the sound of it."
Thus, their clan was born.
[Starlight Recoil] – A Comeback Carved in Constellations.
Sushi Slice sighed, already envisioning her new workload. "Alright, Starlight Recoil is our name. I'll work on creating the designs of our clan logo, banners, flags, and member badges tomorrow... long sigh..."
She pushed herself up from her seat. "But for now, let's try making some EAO snacks in the kitchen."
Makidon fist-pumped. "I wanna see what other types of snacks EAO has to offer us, haha!"
"I'm kind of interested too," Yukinox said as she stretched, her voice soft.
As the girls entered the elevator and were ready to descend to the 5th floor, Hoshigari remained seated for a moment, gazing out into the city bright flourishing with lights in the night. The electric skyline of Yomotsuhana seemed to blink back at him.
He chuckled to himself. "Damn, EAO… you really don't disappoint, huh? Heheh..."
"Yo, Boss! You comin'?!" Makidon's voice echoed from the elevator.
"Yeah! Wait up!" he called back, grinning as he jogged after them.
