Lunara stepped out of the ice cream shop, the door clicking shut behind her as she exhaled slowly. The afternoon sun spilled over the street, warming her damp clothes.
Naomi trailed close behind with Mila in her arms, "Let's just go back, it must be sticky."
Lunara just hummed as a reply. But then, they had almost reached the car when a hand yanked Lunara's arm.
"Don't even think about walking away!" Sienna barked.
Lunara, who was being turned forcefully, took another long breath, her expression almost identical with the cold expression Eryx always put up. Sienna's manicured nails were still gripping her sleeve, her lipstick slightly smudged, and the faint red mark on her cheek glowing like a badge of wounded pride.
"I'm not done with you!" Sienna snapped. "You think you can assault me in public and just walk off? I'm going to sue you for this. Hair-pulling, slapping, public humiliation… Oh, this is going viral."
