Hongyue Building, this is a relatively upscale restaurant near Binhai University, known for its home-cooked dishes. A few of its chefs are said to be specially trained at the Shandong Cuisine Institute. Their Jiu-zhuan Da-chang, Sweet and Sour Carp, Four Happiness Meatballs, Candied Apple, Honey Yam, and so on, are all exceptional.
Zhang Qinyao's treat was set here because they arrived a bit late and could only choose a medium-sized private room for eight people, making three people seem a bit empty.
Girls like a light palate when eating, so Zhang Qinyao didn't order much meat—just a few fresh seasonal vegetables along with a special sweet and sour carp, which was enough.
After the dishes were served, Zhang Qinyao even ordered a bottle of strong local-flavored white liquor.
"Qinyao, let's skip the liquor and drink tea instead," Nangong Qingcheng said.
