"Tehehe, Master, we've cleaned up all that trash!"
Bouncing around, one of the swordswomen leaped into Sora's arms.
"Haha, well done!"
Patting the girl's head, Sora praised her generously.
Though dealing with a few armed ordinary humans wasn't much of a feat, for girls who were helpless just two days ago, it was already quite impressive.
Sora believed that as long as they continued to absorb energy beads and hone their sword skills by killing the undead, they would soon grow into formidable warriors!
For the girls, Sora's praise was their greatest motivation, and they all beamed with joy.
"Once we cross the river ahead, we'll reach the outer city. The undead there aren't as numerous yet. While there's still time, go hunt the undead nearby!"
Though still far away, Sora could already sense the situation on the bridge.
Despite the sudden outbreak of the disaster, the government had managed to set up traffic control on the bridge, and anyone wanting to cross had to undergo strict inspection.
This indicated that the undead hadn't spread widely in the outer city yet, at least not to the extent of the inner city where they were everywhere.
Since Sora wanted the girls to grow up as quickly as possible, the inner city was undoubtedly the best place for that!
Therefore, Sora, who originally planned to cross the river and return directly to Shizuka's home, was now in no hurry.
"Kill all the dead bodies you encounter, collect energy beads, hone your sword skills, and gather here in the afternoon."
"Rei, Saeko, Saya, you should go too. Although this kind of battle isn't very useful for you, those energy beads are good stuff. Collect as many as you can."
Those energy beads were the essence of this world, capable of enhancing the girls' power without any side effects. Naturally, Sora wouldn't let them go. He came to this world to seize resources and women, so of course, he would take all the good things!
"Yes, Master!"
"Understood."
Without any objections, the girls glanced at each other and set off with excitement to hunt for their prey, leaving only Sora, Shizuka, and Kyoko behind.
Since Sora had initially granted Shizuka and Kyoko the abilities of water and fire, even though they had absorbed many energy beads, they were only slightly stronger than ordinary people now, with no combat skills whatsoever. Plus, with Shizuka's scatterbrained personality, Sora genuinely didn't dare to let them go.
While the girls were out hunting, Sora decided to teach them some techniques for using their abilities. After all, they needed to grow stronger as quickly as possible.
Both girls had decent potential, and it didn't take long for them to condense water balls and flames. They were so excited that they danced around like children, showering Sora with kisses.
Originally, Sora wanted to teach them some moves, like Tsukiumi's "Water Arrow" or Homura's "Flame Dragon," but he realized that doing so would limit their development. At best, they would just become second versions of Tsukiumi and Homura, which wouldn't be beneficial in the long run.
So, in the end, Sora only taught them some basics—how to gather, release, and change the form of their abilities. As for how they would develop their powers in the future, he left that for them to figure out on their own.
Feeling that there was nothing else to do, Sora let the two girls practice on their own while he went back to the school bus to catch up on sleep. Last night, he had conquered all the girls by himself, and the exhaustion was significant. If he didn't rest well, how could he continue tonight?
"Hmm? What's that smell?"
Groggily, Sora didn't know how long he had slept. Judging by the sky outside, it seemed to be noon. The sword-wielding girls and Miyamoto Rei, who had gone out to hunt dead bodies, hadn't returned yet. A pungent smell of smoke woke him up.
Curious, Sora wasn't worried about Shizuka and Kyoko's safety since the nearby dead bodies had already been cleared out. But what was with all this thick smoke? Was there a fire?
Getting out of the car, he looked for the two girls. When he saw the scene before him, he was utterly dumbfounded!
On the street not far away, Kyoko was continuously condensing palm-sized fireballs in her hands, walking gracefully while tossing them into the houses on either side of the road!
These fireballs were no ordinary flames, and unsurprisingly, the houses were all set ablaze!
Without any sign of guilt or nervousness, the woman's face even showed a hint of a drunken blush, seemingly excited.
Turning his gaze to the other side, Sora also spotted Shizuka squatting on the ground, continuously condensing water balls to wash her hands. Sora couldn't help but twitch at the corner of his mouth.
Covering his face, Sora suddenly realized that the women around him seemed a bit… abnormal.
He decided not to bother with them. Let them play however they wanted! After all, there were no diligent city management officers around, and even if they caused chaos, no one would come to stop them.
Returning to the car, he went back to sleep!
"Hehe, it seems like you all had a good harvest!"
Looking at the excited girls standing before him, Sora smiled.
"Tehehe, yes, Master! We killed so many monsters!"
"But Rei-sama and Saeko-sama were too ruthless; they took most of the prey."
One of the sword-wielding girls clung to Sora's arm, excitedly speaking, though she cast a slightly resentful glance at Miyamoto Rei and Saeko.
"You little brat, it's your own fault for not being more competitive!"
Sora playfully flicked the girl's forehead, laughing and scolding her.
Sticking out her tongue, the girl giggled and ran off to the side.
"Did something happen? Why are there burn marks all over the nearby blocks? And did it rain here? Why is there so much water on the ground?"
Holding her sword, Saeko asked with some confusion. She remembered that the place wasn't like this when they left.
"Ahem… it's nothing. Just two mischievous girls playing around."
Somewhat embarrassed, Sora felt a bit sorry for Kyoko and Shizuka.
Nodding thoughtfully, Saeko glanced at Shizuka, who was turning her head away as if to say it wasn't her fault, and Kyoko, whose face was slightly red. Saeko didn't say anything more, but a mysterious smile tugged at the corner of her lips.
After a morning of hunting, the girls had collected quite a few energy beads. Combined with the ones stored in Sora's King's Sword, they had enough to last for a while.
Only one day had passed, and in the coming days, the number of dead bodies wouldn't decrease but would only increase. Resources were plentiful!
So, Sora didn't plan to stay any longer and led the girls straight to Shizuka's home. It had been a few days since he last saw her, and he missed that gun-wielding girl.
Moreover, Sora had been thinking about a certain loli. If he missed her by accident, he would be heartbroken!
Since traffic control was in effect on the bridge, anyone who wanted to cross had to undergo a full-body inspection. Sora didn't want anyone else inspecting his women's bodies, so he decided not to cross the bridge.
Under the astonished gazes of countless people, Sora froze the river surface and walked across with swagger. By the time the police officers arrived to stop him, he had already disappeared with his women on the other side of the river.
