It's 9pm when I finally enter the house. Everything seems normal, while Regan's world has turned upside down. A maid helps me carry my bag upstairs, while I go to the kitchen to grab a glass of water from the fridge. My hands tremble from anxiety, as I hold the glass.
The TV suddenly comes on, startling me. I drop my glass on a counter top and stroll in the direction of the sound.
"The Heartstones were issued a search warrant at their home, last night, while they were hosting this year's investors' gala. They were immediately taken into police custody. The case has led to a full blown investigation, concerning allegations of multiple murders, fraud…"
