Chapter 91 - Chapter 91: Rice's Final Trump Card

Chapter 91: Rice's Final Trump Card

"Wind!"

But soon, the Storm clone activated her powers, using wind to blow away all the smoke. At the same time, all the mutant clones capable of ranged attacks unleashed their abilities.

Cyclops' optic blasts, Magneto controlling metal objects, Phoenix moving heavy objects with her mind, Pyro's flames, Iceman's freezing, and more.

However, with George's physical abilities and reflexes, he easily dodged most of these attacks. While dodging, he continued to fire his gun, taking out several mutants.

But this didn't last long, as the Professor X, Phoenix, and Emma Frost clones joined forces to simultaneously exert psychic control over George.

George, with his own psychic abilities and enhanced by his wizard bloodline, wasn't afraid of being fully controlled by the three clones.

However, it wasn't without effect. At the very least, he could no longer focus as well as before to dodge attacks flexibly.

"Protego!"

Seeing the attacks coming again, George extended his left hand and cast the Shield Charm. A magical energy barrier instantly appeared, blocking all the ranged attacks.

The Shield Charm's defensive strength was quite impressive.

But when he tried to fire his gun again, he found that it was no longer under his control. Clearly, the Magneto clone had stopped controlling metal objects to attack and was now competing with George for control over the gun's magnetic field.

At the same time, the melee-oriented mutant clones, like Wolverine, Sabretooth, Colossus, and Psylocke, rushed onto the platform, intending to engage him in close combat.

"Capture him alive!"

Rice, believing that Subject 757 now stood no chance, immediately ordered the melee mutant clones.

Originally, he had wanted to kill Subject 757 and study his body to see what had happened, whether there had been any other mutations or if other genes had been injected.

But now, seeing that Subject 757's superpowers were increasing beyond his imagination, he wanted to capture him alive first to see if he could extract any information before proceeding with experiments.

If the mutants he created in the future were as powerful as Subject 757, his plan to conquer the world would proceed much faster.

"Eye-straining."

Looking at the naked melee mutant clones charging at him, George couldn't help but twitch his mouth.

The female clones were fine, but the male clones' swinging movements as they ran were hard to ignore.

It felt like the mental shock from this sight was more damaging than the psychic control from Professor X and the others below.

While maintaining the Shield Charm to block ranged attacks and competing with Magneto for magnetic control, George used his free right hand to pull out an alloy mace from his pocket, which had been expanded with an Undetectable Extension Charm.

"Transform!"

As a magic circle appeared on George's body, he rapidly expanded, transforming into a nearly four-meter-tall giant in the blink of an eye.

He was now using the Giant Magic of Guild Master Makarov.

Although he couldn't grow to hundreds of meters like Makarov, reaching three to four meters in height wasn't too difficult for him.

"First one!"

George raised his mace and, like playing whack-a-mole, smashed the fastest Quicksilver clone into the ground, leaving him a bloody mess and undeniably dead.

The Quicksilver clone was fast, leaving behind faint afterimages as he ran, but compared to the real Quicksilver, he was still far inferior.

With his enhanced physical abilities, George managed to hit him with the massive mace.

Giant Magic provided an all-around enhancement—not just in size, but also in strength, speed, defense, and reflexes.

Combined with his already extraordinary physique, George was a force to be reckoned with.

Wizard bloodline granted wizards superior resilience and recovery abilities, mutants typically had physical abilities beyond ordinary humans, and the magical cat's reflexes and dynamic vision were extraordinary.

With all three combined and amplified by Giant Magic, even in close combat, George was a top-tier fighter.

If future clones were activated, this advantage would only grow.

After smashing the Quicksilver clone, George didn't stop. He swung his mace in a wide arc, sending the remaining clones flying.

He wasn't skilled in martial arts or proficient with various weapons. His strategy relied on brute strength and speed, and he chose the mace because it was simple to use and highly effective.

If those he sent flying were ordinary humans, they would have been dead on the spot.

But even with their healing abilities, steel-like durability, and beast-like transformation, these mutant clones, being inferior to the originals, couldn't get up immediately.

Even Psylocke's clone, which focused on offense but had weak defense, was instantly killed by the blow.

At this point, George didn't press the attack. Instead, he used the "Wing" spell again, growing wings on his back. He flew toward the ranged mutant clones, still protected by the Shield Charm.

Landing among them, he began smashing wildly.

The first to fall was the Magneto clone, who had been competing with George for magnetic control. With his powers suppressed, he couldn't affect the alloy mace, and his head was smashed into his torso with a single blow.

With the Magneto clone out of the way, George regained magnetic control. Several sharp blades flew out from his sleeves, joining the carnage.

The ranged mutants quickly dwindled in number, and the effectiveness of their attacks diminished. George abandoned the Shield Charm entirely, focusing all his energy on offense.

Magic, melee combat, and superpowers—George used all three to overwhelm the remaining mutants. Even as the melee clones returned to support, they were still overwhelmed by his complete suppression.

Full Body-Bind Curses and Stunning Spells immobilized the clones, while the mace and blades finished them off. Occasionally, weakened optic blasts from Cyclops hit him, but they were blocked by his enhanced defense from Giant Magic.

As the mutant clones dwindled, Rice panicked. He ordered the clone guarding him:

"You, go help!"

Then he quickly ran toward the incubation chamber control room. There, he had his final trump card—Clone 101. He had only cloned one, intending to destroy it, but now it was his lifeline.

Seeing Rice trying to escape, George used his mace to send the troublesome Wolverine and Sabretooth clones flying again. He then raised his hand and cast a Full Body-Bind Curse at Rice.

"Petrificus Totalus!"

A blue magical light shot out but was blocked by an unfamiliar mutant clone.

The key point was that after blocking George's Full Body-Bind Curse, the mutant wasn't immobilized. Instead, it grinned and charged at George.

George instinctively swung his mace at the clone, but when it hit, the mace seemed to lose all its kinetic energy, causing no damage.

Instead, an equally strong force rebounded back through the mace, nearly causing George to drop it.

"Sebastian Shaw's clone?"

George raised an eyebrow, immediately understanding.

"Confundo!"

In the next second, the Confundus Charm took effect. The Black King clone's eyes glazed over, and its powers were temporarily disabled. Sharp blades swiftly slit its throat, killing it instantly.
