Chapter 133 - Chapter 134: The Book of Morgana

Chapter 134: The Book of Morgana

"Point Me—Balthazar!"

After calming down, George began casting the Tracking Charm. He needed to confirm whether Balthazar and Horvath were still sealed and whether the plot had begun. This would determine his next steps.

"Nothing? The tracking spell failed?"

After casting the Tracking Charm, he noticed that the golden tracking marker didn't appear. Clearly, Balthazar was currently untraceable.

"Point Me—Horvath!"

He cast the Tracking Charm again, but the result was the same—failure.

"It seems they're still sealed."

If both of them were untraceable, it was likely due to the sealing magic blocking the tracking.

So, even though it was already 2010, the plot hadn't started yet.

"That's fine. This actually gives me more room to maneuver."

George waved his hand at the bald middle-aged man:

"Obliviate!"

Using the Memory Charm, he erased the man's memories. Then, after a moment of thought, he cast a Hair-Growing Charm on the man's head.

"Rapidus Capillus!"

Under the effect of the Hair-Growing Charm, the bald man's head was no longer bald. Instead, thick, long hair quickly grew out.

This was a small reward for the man's unwitting assistance.

After lifting the Imperius Curse, George left the living room, walked out to the balcony, and flew away from the villa.

Only after George left did the bald man regain his senses.

"Huh? Why am I in the bedroom?"

Looking at the open computer in front of him, the bald man was confused. He remembered he should have been in the living room, drinking red wine.

"Maybe I'm just too tired. Whatever, I'll take a shower and go to bed. I have a big project to discuss tomorrow."

After closing the computer, he went to the bathroom. When he saw his reflection in the mirror, he was stunned.

"I... I have hair now!!!"

The baldness that no amount of medicine or treatment could cure had miraculously disappeared. His head was now covered in thick, luscious hair. This had to be a medical miracle.

Meanwhile, flying through the air, George cast the Tracking Charm once more.

"Point Me—Drake Stone!"

This time, the Tracking Charm didn't fail. A golden arrow appeared before his eyes.

Since Balthazar and Horvath were still sealed, he could focus on finding Drake first.

Drake was the current inheritor of the Morgana faction. When he was fifteen, his master had tried to rescue Morgana but was killed by Balthazar, leaving Drake to fend for himself.

However, over the years, Drake hadn't devoted much time to studying magic. Instead, he used the little he had learned to become a famous magician, living a life of luxury and indulgence.

George sought him out for two reasons: first, for his magic ring, and second, for the Book of Morgana.

In this world, sorcerers also needed a medium to cast spells. Without a medium, it was difficult to perform magic. If George could get Drake's magic ring, it could serve as a substitute for a wand.

As for the Book of Morgana, it contained all the spells of the Morgana faction. Naturally, George couldn't let that slip away.

As for whether he could defeat Drake—despite not having a wand and relying solely on hand gestures—dealing with Drake, a half-baked sorcerer, shouldn't be too difficult.

Moreover, George wasn't foolish enough to engage in a direct magical duel with him.

Following the golden arrow, George soon found the building where Drake lived.

Drake occupied the entire top floor of the building, which served as his home. The lights on the top floor were still on, indicating that Drake might still be awake.

Peeking through the window, George saw Drake partying with six model-like women.

"Guess I'll wait a bit longer."

To be safe, George didn't rush in for a sneak attack. Instead, he quietly landed on the roof of the building, like a seasoned predator, patiently waiting for the perfect moment when his prey would be most vulnerable.

At 3 a.m., the lights in Drake's room finally went out.

George returned to the living room window. Seeing the clothes scattered on the floor and the absence of people, he quietly used the Unlocking Charm to open the window and squeezed inside.

Carefully making his way to the bedroom door, he listened to the sounds of Drake's "one versus six" escapade and began preparing to cast spells using hand gestures.

As a particularly loud cry echoed from the room, George knew Drake had reached his most relaxed state.

He forcefully kicked open the bedroom door and fired a Full Body-Bind Curse.

"Petrificus Totalus!"

As the spell shot out, his telekinetic ability activated simultaneously. All the metal objects in the room flew toward Drake, and the metal magic ring on his hand was forcibly removed.

"Gigantus Mutatio!"

After casting the Full Body-Bind Curse, George also activated the Giant Transformation spell as a precaution. His body rapidly expanded, turning into a massive panda whose head nearly touched the ceiling.

However, his caution turned out to be unnecessary.

Drake, having just "finished," was completely caught off guard. He was instantly petrified by George's Full Body-Bind Curse, and his magic ring was snatched away by George's telekinesis.

The entire process was surprisingly simple.

Thinking about it, Drake was a third-rate sorcerer who spent most of his time indulging in women. He likely hadn't devoted much time to studying magic.

Moreover, living in a peaceful environment, he probably had no experience fighting other sorcerers.

If he had been more experienced, he would have sensed George's presence long before he got close.

"Ahhh! A giant panda!!!"

The six naked models on the bed screamed in unison at the sight of the four-to-five-meter-tall super panda bursting into the room. They promptly fainted from shock.

"Pathetic. All that preparation for nothing."

Returning to his normal size, George slipped the metal magic ring onto his bear paw and tested it by casting a spell on one of the unconscious models.

"Stupefy!"

A blue magical light shot out instantly. The power and speed of the spell felt even better than using a wand in the Harry Potter world, though it still fell short of his wand in the Fairy Tail world.

After casting the Sleeping Charm and Memory Charm on the other five models, he carried the petrified Drake to the living room.

Without lifting the spell or asking any questions, George directly cast Legilimency on Drake to search his memories.

"Found it!"

With a wide grin, George returned to the bedroom. Underneath the bed, he found a specially designed box containing a massive, half-meter-thick magic book.

It was the Book of Morgana, containing all the spells of the Morgana faction.

Meanwhile, Drake, still petrified by George's Full Body-Bind Curse, was utterly bewildered.

He could never have imagined that one day, while enjoying himself with his girlfriends in his bedroom, he would be attacked by a magical panda. Not only did the panda attack him, but it also stole his magic ring and magic book.

It was absolutely absurd!
