Chapter 10 - My Beautiful Easter

"It's a pity that you had to go in this way Emma. What a pathetic path you chose? What a waste of beauty and youth. We could have had babies. Maybe two or three and watched them grow into adulthood and I could have gazed upon beauty until it faded!"

I now sat on the bed, her body still in my arms. Blood flowed everywhere.

Her corpse retained its glorious beauty, I must admit that I am still admiring her right now.

"I hope in your next life you are as beautiful as you were here but with a different path, choices, ambitions and heart."

"The truth of the matter is you will continue in the same path. For I know that there is redemption in death, if you were a thief, a killer, a businesswoman or a judge when you were on Earth? Nothing will change, you will proceed with the same fate until the time for your change of heart comes or repentance dawns in you."

"Farewell, my beautiful Emma and thank you for pulling out of me the sleeping love and the killer in!"

I screamed in pain and frustration.

I didn't like the killer in me. I thought my first kill to avenge my ex dark family would definitely a male adversary. How wrong my imaginal conjuring must have been.

Anyway she forced my mouth and teeth to reap off her throat.

I justified my act to make me feel a little bit better. I also strived not to be consumed by guilt or regret in the process.

I gently laid her corpse on the bed, closed her eyes and I covered the dead body with the white Hotel sheet.

I dashed into the bathroom, I twisted the handle to the red side. Warm water poured over me.

I gracefully rinsed myself.

I enjoyed the warm water as it wonderfully cleansed the blood grimed on my body and I imagined it doing the same for my soul.

When I felt clean enough, I stepped into the Jacuzzi.

I had already filled it with warm water. I let my body float inside it.

I made recitments of purification in my head. My mind became so vivid and in tune with my inner self.

My consciousness drifted into bliss and ecstatic state. The perfect exercise of spiritualism.

Right at that glorious spectacular moment, the deadly violent knocks hit the door to my suite so hard.

The obvious voice of some sort sounded, "Open up or we shall use force to break in?"

No doubt these were cops.

I instantly jumped out of the Jacuzzi, in less than ten seconds I found myself in the bedroom and I quickly put on my pants.

Lifted my phone, dialed Easter's number.

She immediately picked up, "Hello Mr Contratino, how may I assist you?"

Easter my Lamborghini Urus's engine I could hear its sound reverberating.

"Come to Secania Valley Hotel Immediately!"

I instructed hurriedly.

My beautiful Easter's headlamps were blinking and the dash board lit up.

On the screentouch pad, the inbelt GPS searched for my location by tracking my phone.

A link was set up with a beeping sound.

"Got you, it will take fifteen minutes to find you."

My beautiful Easter notified me in her AI sweet voice.

"No make it 8!"

I shot back, I didn't have that luxury time at hand.

The knock on the door of my suite increased hypersonically, they didn't want to give me some time to breathe.

"As you wish."

She replied, at that same instant I heard her make a drift of her tire wheels and her overly thrilling sound entered my eardrum.

I cut the line and tucked my phone in the back pocket.

I moved to the window, slid it open to see how high I must be. Jumping as of the moments it's the only thing that held the promise of escape.

I happened to be on the twentieth floor of the Secania Valley Hotel.

I carefully climbed out of the room through the window, and stepped on the window sill. It was big enough to support me and my weight.

I began to slid in a short succession movements.

I intended to go into the other room, the patience of the cops knocking grew thinner each second elapsed.

I stretched my right leg to extend to the next window sill when I heard the blast of the door in the suite I just climbed off a few minutes ago.

Automatically, the cops who advanced into the suite strode straight to the figure covered in the white sheet on the bed.

They already had the idea of what to suspect because of the blood on the floor and partially on the uncovered bed.

One of them carefully uncovered the white bedsheet and their eyes straight away proceeded on the corpse's reaped throat.

"Jesus Christ!"

The one who uncovered the white sheet cried as he turned his head away.

"What creature could do such a wicked and despicable act?"

Others eyes were on the blood on the floor, probably predicting were the original act had been performed.

The fourth one's eyes went directly to the window. His instincts kicked in that the culprit must be within the vicinity.

He hurried to the window. Peeped his head out hoping to catch a glimpse of the murderer.

I pushed the window open on the window sill where I now stood.

As if led by instinct, I looked out the window where I ran away from and met the cop's eyes.

"Stop or I will shoot!"

He threatened verbally, he had not yet pointed his gun at me.

I gave him an evil smile as I slid into the suite through the window.

The bullets missed my leg an inch as I pulled it into the room.

"I have eyes on the suspect!"

He shouted to his teammates.

"He is in the next room!"

He added, it must have been confusing to the others.

"Which one?"

The police officer in charge inquired to have clarity.
