Chapter 21 - Solo Singer

Her eyes brightened. I could see that my words nailed something deep in her soul. I kind of acted like her mirror. Reviewing a certain side of her that I absolutely had no idea.

We can only guess what the other being is thinking until they give you a confirmation.

All of a sudden a beam formed on her cute face.

"Sometimes you are too much Contratino but that's what I love about you. You are so smart compared to your agement. Don't ever change. Do you understand me?"

She put up an emphasis expression.

Honestly speaking I did not number myself among the smart people. I could grade myself as average. All I knew being that I was very ambitious about anything that appeared new in my life.

"Tell me about your background. If it is not to much to ask?"

Margherita Ferrari requested not knowing how I would take it. She wanted to dig through me. I wasn't sure why she was interested in me as a simple person.

"If you feel you are not up to it. It's fine."

She added after seeing the hesitation silent me.

"It's not a big deal. It's just that it's a long boring kind of story. You know what I mean?"

I attempted to run away from this cage. The prison I once freed myself from. I never talked about it because of bitter memories.

There are places you don't want to go to. You wouldn't want to relive the moment. Mine was such a one.

"Try me. Beside we have the entire evening to ourselves."

She dared me. I must admit that of all the Italians I had come across from 2000 to 2006 she had almost perfect English and accent.

Her soul and mine were connected. I did not sense any vile intentions from her. I saw and felt her pure soul. Want to soar as high as she could.

Cherishing each moment that life blessed her with. I got compelled to share my dark side with her. She could take it and expand her consciousness.

"Well, where do I start from?"

I scratched my head. I searched for what would summarise and shorten it. Also make it a little less boring.

"Take it easy on you. You can begin from anywhere you prefer."

She helped smooth my path. She kept a smiley face which I liked a lot.

I returned to my present reality. I smiled to myself. I tucked a pork steak into my mouth.

"Why didn't she tell me that she had cancer?"

I thought out loudly. She passed on in 2007. A year later. She must have tried to save me from her horrors. Her being a pure soul she just wanted to plant love and nothing else.

She lived each day as if it was her last. I am sure it's the greatest gift she gave me in two weeks.

She is dead yet she still lives on in my memory l.

The mega yacht now accelerated at its top great speed heading to the North America region. Specifically Florida.

The storms were not turbulent. They were pacific but it was as cold ice as hell.

However, that did not stop the sons of Chungu enjoying their sailing across the Atlantic ocean.

Chalwita Chungu has had a crush on a solo singer who has been on top of the billboard chart for seven consecutive months.

He entered the pool with a glass of whiskey in his hand. His eyes unwavering on the singer.

He gulped his glass of whiskey. Had the waitress refill it. His tongue had continuously been salivating for her. It was dark yet he wore his shades.

He wore swim pants. His chest protruded out to deliberately seduce her with his sex six-packs.

"Look at your young brother. He is on the hunt, can you guess the chick?"

Judy Chungu had her eyes on her young brother. She is kind of a tomboy and the most ruthless among the sons and daughters of Chungu.

She just hated Contratino naturally, from the day he came into existence. That would be too exaggerated.

She wanted him for herself. She intimately loved him. But things don't always go as we want them to, do they?

"How many bucks do we bet if i guessed it right?"

Dagrass Chungu always had a gambler's mind. He could see profits in anything.

The sister opened up a window and he wanted to take advantage of it.

"It's easy to spot her. Let's see among you goons. The one who wins her first before Chalwita. Gets to the USA with $120 million in his pocket."

"Petty cash to keep you afloat for your toys."

Judy Chungu had a positive vibe today. A sinister beam curved on her face.

"I won't participate. I have other important things to attend to."

Deway Chungu excused himself. He observed that his young siblings were considering the proposal.

"Am in."

Danny Chungu, the rival of Chalwita, volunteered excitedly.

"Me too."

Dagrass Chungu decided. The rest of them had their eyes on whom they wanted to be the last participant.

"Old man, are you afraid that she is too much for you and that she will reject you?"

Judy Chungu could not let her dubious, cunning go unparticipative. She dashed on Deway Chungu's egocentric nature.

"Yep, this old man is damn scared of a young girl like a little rat in a rogue-ship of pirates in the Caribbean sea."

Danny Chungu immediately teased.

Judy and Dagrass Chungu burst out in an annoying laughter just to arouse him into falling into their trap.

"Judy, your geniusness exceeds anyone in our family. The old man has no balls anymore to put up a stand. What a pathetic inferior loser Lazarus Chungu gave birth to. Disappointing, now even scared of a young virgin."

"Are you thinking as I am?"

Dagrass Chungu asked just to arouse further curiosity in the others.

Judy and Danny Chungu nodded. Indicating that they needed to have awareness.
