"Barbablanca's Shattering Wave"
"Gurarararara! Sengoku, it feels good to hear your greeting," he roared, his voice thundering with power. In his hand, his gigantic weapon, Murakumogiri, gleamed under the sunlight. Beside him, his commanders advanced with the same proud, confident smiles, as if certain of victory.
"Hey! Are you guys okay over there?" shouted Marco the Phoenix across the battlefield. His voice reached the heavily damaged ship, which was still barely afloat.
"Don't worry, Marco! Just a few scratches," came the reply from the other side, clearly trying to reassure their captain.
"Damn treacherous bastards!" Marko spat, his voice filled with rage.
Whitebeard, hearing this, shot a fierce glance at his son Vista, who responded with a confident grin. "I'm fine, Pops. Just give them a good beating and let's go back to the New World," he said, while several Marines, overhearing the conversation, exchanged uneasy glances.
"I know, son. This won't take long," Whitebeard replied calmly. Suddenly, he dropped his massive weapon and raised both arms, taking on an imposing stance. With a ferocious yell, he slammed the air with all his might.
The impact was colossal. The atmosphere shattered, the air itself trembling as if it were breaking apart. With a deafening roar, a massive wave surged forth, carrying the destructive force of the Gura Gura no Mi.
The wave grew rapidly, flooding the horizon and charging toward Marineford with unimaginable destructive power. The Marines froze"some watched in horror, others with a mix of fascination and fear.
"Whoa! Think we could surf that thing?" said Kara, gazing upward, clearly impressed by the wave's magnitude.
"That's the first thing that comes to your mind?" said Tokikake, watching with a strained smile, unable to hide his nervousness in the face of the incoming devastation.
"I always wonder how her brain works," murmured Strawberry, who usually worked alongside Kara as part of Aokiji's faction.
The wave approached, colossal and unstoppable. However, the most powerful Marines didn't seem fazed by the scale of the attack. Aokiji, calm and composed as always, leapt into the air, his hands extended toward the massive wave covering Marineford.
"Ice Age," he murmured, and from his hands erupted two massive ice pillars that connected with the wave and instantly froze it, transforming the giant wall of water into a macroscopic sculpture of ice... and then he quickly formed ice spears aimed at Whitebeard.
But Whitebeard, unfazed, struck the air once more. This time, his blows were so powerful that they not only shattered Aokiji's ice spears but also smashed the admiral's frozen body, sending him crashing into the sea.
The ice touching the water began to spread rapidly, freezing the sea surface.
"He's a great actor. Maybe he should retire and do theater," Kara said with a mocking grin, enjoying the show.
"And what, you'd take his place, Kara?" Tokikake replied sarcastically, watching as the other admirals maintained their composure"though clearly worried by Whitebeard's power.
Kara, realizing the implication, made a face of disgust. "Ugh. Better he lives 200 years and stays admiral. Sounds exhausting, doesn't it?" she muttered, clearly more interested in her own musings than the gravity of the situation.
But the atmosphere changed instantly.
Whitebeard's pirates, seeing the tide of war shifting, disembarked from their ships with confident smiles. Their boots stomped hard against the ice as they charged toward the battlefield. The Navy responded quickly; soldiers raised their rifles and sabers, forming defensive lines as warning sirens echoed through the frozen harbor.
And then, the war began.
The roar of cannons rang out first from the pirate side. Dozens of projectiles tore through the air, but before they could strike, several vice-admirals stepped forward. With flawless precision, they swung their swords cloaked in Haki, slicing through the incoming cannonballs like butter. The ice cracked beneath their feet, but their positions held firm.
"Hold the line!" one of the Marine commanders shouted.
In the distance, Zoro walked calmly, slowly unsheathing his three swords as his eyes locked on the horde of pirates approaching him. His breath came out in thick clouds from the cold, but his resolve remained unshaken.
"Hyakuhachi Pound Hou," he whispered.
A spinning shockwave burst violently from his blades, cleaving the air and tearing through multiple enemies in its path.
"Not bad, rookie," commented Hina with serenity. She walked through enemies, effortlessly trapping them in iron bars that sprouted from her arms like metallic serpents.
Suddenly, Zoro turned his head. He felt a pressure. A presence.
The Shichibukai were starting to move.
Hawk-Eye Mihawk, with his unshakable aura, slowly raised his sword. Its blade shimmered with restrained killing intent.
"Are you going to make the first move?" asked Ace with interest, watching from above.
"I just want to measure the distance," Mihawk replied before swinging his sword.
A flying slash of emerald green energy sliced through the air with chilling force. It cleaved through Aokiji's ice without resistance and headed straight for Whitebeard.
But Diamond Jozu reacted instantly. He leapt in front of the attack, his body shining like pure diamond. With a roar, he blocked the slash and deflected it violently skyward, where it exploded among the storm clouds.
"Jahaha! Didn't work! Guess it's my turn now!" Ace shouted, a spark in his eyes.
His body turned into pure lightning. He rose into the sky, surrounded by an ever-growing thunderstorm. In the skies, hundreds of meters above the battlefield, Ace clapped his hands together, and a heavy sound echoed.
"As Kara taught me... THUNDER DRAGON'S ROAR!"
A thunderous roar of lightning burst from his mouth like a dragon made of pure electricity, slithering straight toward Whitebeard.
But before it could strike, a blue flame emerged from the front.
"You know you can't be the first to attack the King, right? "said Marco the Phoenix, descending with a majestic burning wing.
His half-transformed body gleamed with the Phoenix's regenerative power. In an instant, he launched himself at Ace with a blazing kick.
Ace blocked with his Haki-covered forearm, but the blow was so powerful it sent him flying, crashing into the ice with a boom.
However, a flash appeared right where he had fallen. Ace reformed his body out of electricity, standing as if nothing had happened.
"Tsk... doesn't even show a scratch "he growled, though in the distance, Kara frowned.
"What an idiot... "she muttered while laughing at her brother.
From a position near the execution platform, Kara watched. Her duty was to protect it, though with her ability to shatter attacks, she also took the chance to slack off.
But now was the time to act.
Jozu, with a roar, ripped a gigantic chunk of frozen ice and hurled it furiously at the platform. The iceberg was the size of a warship.
The massive block halted in midair. Then, as if the ice obeyed her thoughts, it fragmented into hundreds of cubes that spun in the air before falling as projectiles on Whitebeard's pirates.
Perfect control. Absolute power.
And then, light struck again.
"YATA NO KAGAMI! "Kizaru shouted, appearing at light speed in front of Whitebeard.
But Marco intervened again, clashing with him in a burst of blue fire. The collision unleashed an explosion of fire and light that rocked the battlefield, diverting Kizaru's attack and sending him flying to a corner of the field.
Akainu, from his seat, watched them with a scowl.
"Good grief... Those two idiots left. Who's going to protect the platform now? "he growled as he slowly stood up.
His arm turned into burning magma. He raised it to the sky and hurled it as a massive molten fist.
The attack exploded like a volcanic eruption. Blazing fragments of rock rained from the sky, falling like meteors over the battlefield.
One of them headed straight toward Whitebeard.
But the old Yonko simply extended his weapon, stopped the rock with its tip, and then blew on it with disdain.
The rock extinguished like a candle.
Kara pursed her lips and put on a mocking expression at the sight. However, she said nothing. After all, they were technically on the same side.
Beyond the walls of Marineford, new pirate ships were beginning to arrive. The vessels came to an abrupt stop upon hitting the frozen sea, forcing the pirates to disembark directly onto the ice.
Among them, two giants stood out due to their sheer size. Wasting no time, each one lifted one of the stranded warships and hurled them with brutal strength toward the Marine defenses.
From above, Kara observed the scene. Despite the distance, she calmly raised a hand.
"Tsk... not even fun "she muttered.
With a sharp flick of her arm, she sliced both ships in half as if they were paper, causing the massive wooden structures to fragment before impact.
Elsewhere on the battlefield, several pirates were approaching the area where the Shichibukai were stationed. Without hesitation, they began launching desperate attacks.
Boa Hancock frowned gracefully. Unfazed, she raised a hand.
"Mero Mero Mellow.
The pirates' hearts stopped for a second. In that moment, their bodies turned to stone, crashing heavily to the ground.
Immediately, Hancock leapt into battle. Her kicks were elegant and lethal, turning anyone she touched to stone before shattering them into pieces. This time, she made sure not to harm any marines. She knew Kara would be annoyed if she did.
Meanwhile, Ace was preparing to rejoin the fight. Beside him, Jinbe raised his arms, surrounded by droplets of water pulled from the air itself.
"Fishman Karate... Gosen Maigawara Seiken!
Jinbe's attacks were swift and precise, knocking down pirates in his path. Ace advanced beside him, releasing thunder that scorched with electricity.
At that moment, Kuma, silent as always, raised both hands. The air around him began to compress. In an instant, he launched an invisible shockwave at the two giants approaching.
Both colossi screamed as they were struck, falling to their knees, nearly unconscious. But before collapsing, they decided to take someone with them.
With a roar, they launched a combined attack straight at Jinbe.
"Uchimizu "the fish-man murmured.
A single droplet of water shot from his palm, piercing one giant's chest like a bullet.
"Thunder Fist! "Ace shouted as he wrapped his arm in lightning and smashed it into the other. The second giant was instantly charred.
Both collapsed... but never touched the ground.
"Doppelman.
A spear of shadows shot out like a bolt, piercing both giants' hearts at the last second. Gecko Moria had finished them off mercilessly, his eyes overflowing with twisted cruelty.
Whitebeard's men went mad upon seeing their fallen comrades.
"Damn Marine dogs! "Marco roared, furious, glaring at Ace, Jinbe, and Moria with murderous rage. He wanted to fly down and tear them apart right there, but he couldn't move "he had to protect Whitebeard. Kizaru was too close.
As chaos spread, Kara noticed something else.
"Where's Blackbeard...? "she murmured, frowning.
Her eyes glinted with suspicion.
"Tsk... that guy's never up to anything good. Luckily, I do have something planned.
But before she could take another step, her expression changed abruptly.
Her eyes widened in surprise as she sensed an overwhelming presence approaching.
Sengoku, Garp, and several high-ranking Marines all turned at once in the same direction, tense.
And then they saw it.
A massive blue dragon tore through the sky at full speed, leaving a trail of shattered clouds in its wake.
Behind it, dozens of pirate ships approached at full sail, flying a flag that made everyone's skin crawl.
It was Kaido.
Kaido and his pirates had arrived at the war.
"...You've got to be kidding me "Kara murmured, her face dark and deadly serious. Not a trace of her mocking tone remained.
Hell was just beginning.
...…..
Meanwhile, at the Sabaody Archipelago, in the area where civilians were watching the war on a massive screen projected by a video-transmitting Den Den Mushi, Rayleigh observed every detail of the battle with a serious expression. He knew that what was happening there would shape the future of the Grand Line.
"Excuse me, sir… could you tell me how to get to that place?" asked a young woman as she approached casually.
Rayleigh turned to look at her, and his eyes widened in surprise. There was something strangely familiar about her face.
"It's best if you stay away from that place, young lady. There are a lot of pirates lurking around those shores, and they're not exactly friendly," he said quickly, his tone protective.
"Oh, don't worry about that. My father's nearby," she replied with a confident smile. But as she turned around, she noticed that her father had vanished.
"Where did that idiot go!?" she exclaimed in growing frustration, clenching her fists.
"Look, if you know how to get there, just tell me the direction. My companions and I can handle the rest," she added determinedly.
Rayleigh stared at her in silence for a moment before letting out a soft smile.
"Don't say I didn't warn you," he finally said, then gave her the directions.
As the young woman walked away with confident steps, Rayleigh let out a quiet chuckle, as if he had just seen a little girl from long ago walk into Shakky's bar, challenging him to a fight just for fun"a fond and amusing memory from his past.
