───「 GODZILLA POV 」───
The fifth and sixth waves of machines quickly arrived before Godzilla.
These units had evolved beyond their predecessors. Instead of charging across open terrain, they traversed mountains and hills, constantly seeking cover. They no longer attacked Godzilla in plains and exposed areas but specifically chose mountainous, rugged terrain for their ambushes.
The machines had learned.
However, this adaptation alone wouldn't allow them to even touch Godzilla.
A single devastating breath, sweeping from front to back at conventional power levels, pierced through the landscape, obliterating extensive mountain ranges and hills. Regardless of whatever cover shielded the machines, they couldn't survive this apocalyptic strike.
Using the metric of million-ton equivalents to measure power per second, Godzilla's breath could directly flatten mountains.
The difference between this and Godzilla's previous attacks was like night and day. Even with preemptive cover, the machines stood no chance against such overwhelming force.
Fully powered, Godzilla was an entity beyond artificial intelligence's influence. Even with tactical advances—finding cover, coordinating attacks—they couldn't get close.
Such was Godzilla's nature.
───「 Human POV 」───
The seventh and eighth waves adopted more cunning tactics.
These assaults returned to fundamentals. Instead of foolishly charging head-on, the machines laid ambushes behind forests and ridges, waiting for Godzilla to pass before launching surprise attacks.
Unfortunately, these tactics proved ineffective.
───「 GODZILLA POV 」───
Godzilla possessed sonar capabilities—not as useful on land as in the sea, but sufficient to detect machines within a dozen kilometers.
It could discover units lying in ambush, and upon finding them, Godzilla simply altered its route, forcing the machines to emerge and confront it directly.
When they did, Godzilla unleashed high-powered breath attacks, decimating everything in its path.
After discovering the machines' capacity for endless evolution, Godzilla refused to grant them opportunities to adapt further.
Now, upon detecting machines, Godzilla immediately unleashed maximum-power breaths, annihilating them completely.
When encountering particularly large concentrations of robots hiding in complex terrain—mountains and forests—Godzilla simply bypassed them.
However, avoidance rarely helped. After Godzilla passed, these mechanical units would inevitably catch up and continue their pursuit.
They were truly persistent adversaries.
Whether they collected data to evolve further meant nothing to Godzilla. These machines were like upgraded versions of humanity, perfectly inheriting their creators' characteristics while enhancing them.
Against these relentless enemies, Godzilla had no elegant solution. It could only march forward and destroy.
It had already decided: if these machines continued to harass it, it would accelerate to supersonic speed toward the human capital, completely ignoring them.
Robots and their ilk would be dealt with only after humanity's extinction.

Remaining Engineering Robots in Australia: 92.09 million Analysis Progress of Godzilla's Behavioral Logic: 37%
───「 GODZILLA POV 」───
The machines' approach toward Godzilla changed after the eleventh wave.
After destroying eleven waves of robots, Godzilla finally reached the edge of the Australian Basin.
Ahead stretched an endless desert, and beyond that lay the first super-metropolis in Australia's interior.
Am I about to arrive?
Godzilla felt satisfaction. Once it destroyed this metropolitan area and four others in Western Australia, it would complete its mission of pushing across the continent.
Humans would have even fewer places to survive.
Yet something felt strange—the machines hadn't attacked since leaving the Great Dividing Range.
Had they abandoned their efforts after repeated failures?
Godzilla doubted it.
They must be preparing something else, planning to deceive and ambush their old adversary.
Sure enough, as Godzilla approached the desert, it "heard" something ahead.
The operational sounds of countless robots—far more than any previous wave—including humanoid, beast-like, vehicular, tank-like, and transport units.
They represented the true main force of machines on this continent. It seemed that all remaining units from the eastern half of Australia had gathered here.
Have they realized their previous attacks were futile?
Godzilla pondered this. Otherwise, why would they concentrate their forces?
Apparently, they had recognized that Godzilla wouldn't fall for their traps, and that the previous waves were merely wasteful losses.
Well, time to end this.
Godzilla moved toward the desert. The tip of its tail emitted a beam of light while lasers activated along its dorsal fins as it headed toward the robot army, preparing for the final confrontation.
One step, two steps.
Maximum power accumulated in its mouth, ready to obliterate them completely.
Fifty kilometers, forty-five kilometers, forty kilometers.
Next...
Fire!
Like divine punishment, its breath shot toward the oncoming mechanical horde. In that instant, just as Godzilla exhaled...
───「 Human POV 」───
Within a dozen kilometers surrounding Godzilla, countless flying drones activated their engines.
They rushed toward the titan at maximum velocity, attempting to strike during the moment when Godzilla's attention focused on the robot army ahead!
The fastest drones reached speeds up to 700 kilometers per hour—they needed just over a minute to reach Godzilla. Incredibly fast!
───「 GODZILLA POV 」───
But Godzilla's breath was faster! Its full-power attack took only seconds to annihilate the robot wave ahead. Then Godzilla pivoted, sweeping the entire sky behind it.
The firestorm spread, and no machine could withstand such extreme temperatures. They all burned, falling from the sky in molten states, creating a meteor shower of fire.
Countless machines were eradicated. On open ground, when Godzilla unleashed its full power, the number of machines made no difference.
Moving forward, advancing toward its goal across scorched earth that it had completely devastated.
Twenty minutes later, when Godzilla's foot touched the blackened wasteland, something happened around it...
