I was inside my uncle's black Mercedes Benz, sitted at the back while our driver was sitted at the front, ready to take us to my graduation ceremony. I couldn't take my mind off the story our house maiden told me.
( "𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝟭𝟵" )
I can't believe I told him that, the guy who turned out to be Mr. Miller the richest man in the city and whom I had thought he'll be another mysterious man who would be my hero and maybe fall for him later on.
So if he still remembers my promise, then he has probably marked me.... Oh no!!
I was then brought back from my reverie by Uncle C who was looking at me with a worried expression.
"Sweetheart what's wrong? I've been calling and it's seems you're not here except physically. " He said.
"Uncle C, I didn't notice you getting in the car. " I said.
"Are you nervous about your graduation? " He asked me.
I just shook my head. "I'm fine Uncle C. "
He then sat comfortably on the passenger seat at the front, then dropped the mirror then fixed his navy blue tie.
"Oh I invited Mr. Miller to your ceremony, and he's probably going to come... " He state.
Suddenly I felt hot and I badly wanted to tell our driver to open the window for me, but I felt numb, my mouth was sealed. I wasn't supposed to be surprised by it, because he's a friend to my uncle so, him coming should be normal, but I was now nervous.
Uncle C then fixed the rearview mirror after pushing back the one he was using and he directed it towards me, my cheeks were cherry red.
"Hope you're ready for today Ms Amber. " He said then the engine was started and we drove towards the main gate, heading to Orgwarts high school.

I arrived and found the workers of the school had neatly arranged the chairs in the Hall. They were covered with white and red fabric ribbons. The school Hall was huge it looked exactly like a ball room and now it was starting to get filled by people. I held tightly as reality hit me, that I was finally finishing high school, I was excited and nervous at the same time. Uncle C took me out of my reverie again, when he placed his hand on my shoulder, I jumped a little, but he didn't notice.
"There let's sit at the front. " He suggested then we walked to the front seats.
"You have grown tall. " He said.
I prevented my eyes from rolling." You're such a bad liar uncle C.... Like I'm literally wearing heels right now, which has only increased my height in few inches. "I said.
My uncle is 5'12 feet tall, while I'm 4 and a half. " Oh yeah, but you're grown a bit tall. "He added.
This time I did roll my eyes then we sat at our seats.
Uncle C is a very paranoid person. He started advising me about how college life would be, how I would get to make new friends, meet boys and he kept insisting on hard work with studies. Before my parents passed away they worked in the medical department. They were the best neurosurgeons in the country. Even though most of the time I had to stay with my uncle, I still understood that they loved me and tried their best to be with me. Until a time they had been called in another continent to save lives, but they never made it. The plane crashed and not a single person survived. I can't lie that this broke my heart so much. It also affected my studies at that time, but uncle C was there for me. He took custody of me and he became my legal guardian. He helped me get over my fears of moving on and I started healing slowly. Finally I could go back to school and be with my friends. Even though that happened, I have never given up on my dreams of becoming a doctor. Because I want to save lives to just like my parents did, I want to carry on their legacy. As I was still chatting with my uncle, our school principle Mr. Grayson came and greeted us and we had to stand to show respect, he then reminded me not to forget my speech for the ceremony. I just assured him he had nothing to worry about. He quickly headed to the exit and left us.
After some few minutes, I heard that familiar deep voice behind me, again it gave me shivers. I felt like scolding my uncle for not telling me that Damian was behind me.
I turned quickly and there he was staring down at me. Even though I'm in heels am not match for his height.
He was also with his body guard who was the same the height as him. He had brown eyes to blend with his brown well maintained hair. Though he seemed older than Damian and he had an upright posture and he didn't say much.
I reached out my hand to him and broke the silence.
"Thank you so much for coming Mr. Miller. " I said.
He shook my tiny hand as stared into my eyes. I also stared into those silver eyes. It was like we was looking into my soul, I knew I shouldn't stare this much, I couldn't control my eyes, it was like they were not mine anymore, he had compelled me to not break the eye contact. Finally Jennie came to my rescue making him to look away and breaking the hand shake.
"Imma here is your gown, change to it,the ceremony is about to start. " She told me.
Jennie was in her ocean blue gown already and the cap on her short blonde hair. She looked amazing. I took i, but my mind was far, it's like I can't think now when Damian is right beside me. My uncle then introduced her to him and they shook hands, but he didn't stare at her as he did to me.
Jennie then stared at me. Imma, why is your face all red like a tomato, are you alright?" She asked.
I quickly directed my free hand towards my face and placed my palm on my cheeks. They felt hot. Oh! No! I'm blushing!
"Yeah I'm fine just gotta go powder my nose." I said excusing myself. I started heading towards the direction to the washrooms when Jennie called out to give me my purse which I had left on the seat.
I entered the ladies washrooms, then headed for the sink. I placed my purse and the gown aside, then opened the tap on a small pressure and patted my cheeks and nose with the cold water to cool me off.
I stared at my reflection. "Just Focus Immaculate! " I told myself then sighed.
I wash ready to accept the fact since I met Damian he has been doing something to me, that actually changes me and my reaction towards him is not normal. Immaculate isn't the type to blush, especially for a guy. I took in few breaths and let it out, making me feel much better.

Jennie and I headed to where the graduates were supposed to sit during the event. Many students had already settled making the Hall to look like beautiful waves at the ocean.
"Imma we're finally being done with High School... It's so exciting!! " She said happily.
"Yeah, finally but I'll miss you so much when you go abroad. " I said feeling emotional.
"C'mon it's not like I'm leading tomorrow... I've got three months to be in The sea side town of Orgwarts, much more time to be with you. " She said then we held hands.
We finally settled on our perspective seats with our names on the ribbons, then Luke sat besides me on the other chair. He couldn't hide the grin on his face after he saw us.
"Hey guys you look great. " He said. Jennie thanked him while I just smiled without showing my teeth.
"You guys coming to the party tonight? "He asked.
Jennie and I looked at each other confused. We didn't know there was a party later on.
" Um... After the graduation party, I have my birthday party at my home, I can't make it. "I told him.
" Yeah I know you gave me the invitation, now I am talking about the party later on, in this classic club in Town. "Luke explained.
" Oh, we'll be there. "Jennie said.
" What! After what happened yesterday, I don't think my Uncle will allow it. "
"Cmon Imma, you're turning 19 and you can now do what you want... Just explain it to Uncle Clark and he'll understand. " Jennie convinced.
"And also I'll make sure to be there and help you out. " She said making me have a wide grin.
"We're in Luke." I told him.
The event on well, Mr. Brown my history teacher was the MC (Master of ceremony) and he was very funny as he entertained the crowd with his jokes. Then it was time for our speech. Jennie being the representative of our graduating class gave out her speech, which was spectacular. Then it was my turn being the class prefect of our best performing class, I also had an enticing speech which I practiced lately. I got on stage and took the mic, I first stared at the crowd, my eyes searching for my uncle. He was sitting at the front. We locked eyes and smiled and gave me a thumbs up. I felt motivated. My speech had my experience living as an orphan, overcoming my struggles by help from my only relative my uncle and fighting until now I'm graduating from high school. As I was still giving out my brief speech, something was whispered into Damian's ear by his bodyguard, then he stood and headed out of the Hall, through the exist.
