Joshua drove me to school on Christian's order.
Throughout the three hours drive, I sat quietly at the backseat, staring out the window. My thoughts haunted me, but what gnawed at me was the event from last night.
I woke up embarrassed.
Angry.
I had let him inside me.
In my anger, and whatever bravery I had conjured, I had allowed him fuck me after I had vowed never to let him touch me again.
Yesterday, I had thought I was the punisher, now I felt like the one who had been punished.
"Ahhh!" My hand flew to my head in frustration, my cheeks flushing hot.
Why had I gone and done that? What the hell was I thinking?
"Ma'am, should I pull over? Do you need help? Is something wrong?"
Joshua watched me cautiously from the rearview mirror. My outburst had been loud.
"No. There's nothing you could possibly do to help." I murmured, barely audible. But he seemed to get the gist.
