"What's this evil energy?"
Jebit turned toward the source of the evil aura and was utterly shocked.
A terrifying presence strong enough to reach the Supreme Kai's Realm—just how powerful must it be?!While two of the seven mysterious Z Fighters had reached such power levels—Mystic Gohan and Mystic Future Trunks—this evil aura wasn't from either of them.
Old Supreme Kai frowned and looked toward Earth. "There's a pink fatty down there—that evil aura is coming from him."
As he spoke, he conjured a crystal orb the size of a basketball out of thin air.
This orb was the physical manifestation of his clairvoyance—similar to how Shendu's powers were split into talismans, the Old Supreme Kai had voluntarily extracted his clairvoyance into this orb.
Inside the orb, the image of Earth appeared.
Three people.
Babidi. Dabura. And the pink fat guy.
Moss looked at the pink fatty and muttered, "Majin Buu!"
"What?! That's Majin Buu?!" Jebit instantly broke out in sweat and snot, his previous eagerness to spar with Moss completely vanished.
His voice trembled. "But... wasn't the Supreme Kai Battle supposed to start tomorrow?!"
Dabura, the Demon King, had said it'd begin in ten days. Today was the tenth day—so the battle shouldn't begin until tomorrow.
Moss sighed lightly. "The Supreme Kai Battle hasn't started yet. But they've already released Majin Buu."
With such overwhelming evil energy, the seven mysterious Z Fighters on Earth were likely already heading to Babidi's location.
"But," Jebit asked, "if the battle hasn't begun... how does Babidi have enough energy to revive Majin Buu?"
The original plan was for Mystic Trunks, Mystic Gohan, Mystic Piccolo, Mystic Krillin, Mystic Yamcha, Mystic Tien, and Mystic Chiaotzu—seven mysterious Z Fighters—to take out Babidi and Dabura in tomorrow's battle.
Babidi was planning to use that very battle to gather pure energy to release Majin Buu.
So tomorrow was the key point—take out Babidi then, and Buu would stay sealed forever.
Yet now, Buu had revived today.It made no sense.
Where did the energy come from?
Old Supreme Kai looked at the pale-faced Jebit and scolded, "Stop embarrassing yourself. Buu's energy is strong, yes, but it's still less than what I drew out of Gohan and Trunks."
Jebit lit up and nervously chuckled, "Ah, that's true then, nothing to be scared of."
…What a disgrace of a god.
Moss muttered internally, then said, "But…"
With seven mysterious Z Fighters, Buu's power wasn't too scary. But his abilities were dangerous.
His Absorption ability—just absorbing one person let him add that person's power to his own. In other words, he could keep getting stronger just by eating.
Moss was about to give this intel to Jebit to send to Earth.
As for herself, she would stay in the Supreme Kai's Realm.
And with that info, the seven mysterious Z Fighters should easily handle Buu.
There was no need for her—the eighth mysterious Z Fighter—to step in.
But just then, something unexpected happened.
In the orb's image, Babidi cast a control spell on Buu—known as Majinization.
In the original story, Babidi never tried to control Buu.Maybe because Vegeta's disobedience made him lose faith in the spell.Or maybe he thought holding Buu's seal incantation was enough to control him.
But now, with different intel and perhaps other unknown reasons, he made a different choice.
Babidi's control magic required drawing out evil intent.So someone without evil could resist the spell entirely.
Newly revived, Majin Buu looked cheerful and innocent—but in truth, he had deep evil within.
Babidi could draw out that evil.
But Buu's unique body meant that fully unleashing his evil would cause a personality split—and then a physical split.
So, the next instant, instead of growing an "M" on his forehead, Buu split into a fat one and a thin one.
"Majin Buu became two people?!" Jebit's jaw dropped.
Old Supreme Kai ignored Jebit's outbursts and just frowned.
In the orb, fat and thin Buu were already brawling.
The thin one was clearly stronger—beating the fat one down in a few moves, then casting a spell that turned him into a chocolate and ate him.
Then he bulked up—becoming what's commonly called Super Buu.
Old Supreme Kai muttered, "Compared to the earlier Buu, this one's got more energy and a better build for combat."
Evil had overwhelmed good. The power previously suppressed by his good side was now unleashed.So Super Buu's strength and physique were both upgrades.
Jebit laughed nervously. "Just a little more strength, right? Gohan and Trunks can totally beat him."
Old Supreme Kai nodded in agreement.
Moss said, "Buu can absorb people. That lets him power up fast. We must let Gohan and Trunks know, or they'll suffer for it."
Old Supreme Kai's expression changed. Jebit was stunned.
If not for Moss, only Supreme Kai Shin would've known.So even Old Supreme Kai and Jebit were hearing about Buu's absorption ability for the first time.
Meanwhile, in the orb, Buu began using it.
He suddenly punched Dabura in the face—completely unprovoked.
The punch was brutal. Dabura reeled, clutching his face.
Babidi hadn't even reacted before Buu smirked, turned his body to goo, and wrapped up Dabura—instantly absorbing him.
In the next moment, Buu now wore Dabura's cloak, and his head antenna grew longer and thicker, hanging to his waist.
He was stronger.
"So that's the absorption power? He… he got way stronger!" Jebit was pale watching the orb.
Old Supreme Kai looked to Moss. "You can absorb too?"
"…It's called Reception Magic," Moss replied.
Though she'd known of Buu's ability, seeing it firsthand, she realized it resembled her own.On the surface, anyway.
In the orb, Babidi looked shocked.
Then—he got absorbed too.
Buu's appearance didn't change much, but now he had Babidi's magic. Grinning, he entered Babidi's ship.
He used the ship's teleportation platform to vanish.
"Where did he go?" Jebit asked.
"Let me find him…"
Old Supreme Kai quickly had the orb search for Buu's location—and spotted him near Tien and Chiaotzu.
Though both had Mystic forms, they were still weak compared to Buu.
In an instant, both were absorbed.
"At this rate, he'll evolve into Ultimate Buu!"
Moss now understood why Buu absorbed Dabura first.
He sensed the energy of the seven mysterious Z Fighters—and realized some could threaten him.
So he needed to get stronger—fast. Absorbing Dabura was the smartest move.
That was Buu's battle instincts.Similar strategies had appeared in Dragon Ball Z.
Without hesitation, Moss said, "Take me to Earth!"
Jebit flinched. "Are you crazy?! Even the fat Buu could beat us. You think we can handle this Buu?! No way!"
Not long ago, Jebit had agreed to spar with Moss because he thought her power was a joke.Even with Mystic form, not everyone had the same potential.
He could beat Moss with one hand.Harsh, but true.
Moss smiled—bright and confident. "We can win."
"!" Jebit froze.
First, he thought she was mad—but then he saw she was dead serious.
A chill ran through him. Normally, her smile reminded him of a devil's grin.
But now, it felt like an unyielding sun in endless darkness.
A smile of light.
Even Old Supreme Kai looked surprised.
Based on her behavior—squeezing Jebit's healing powers, hoarding energy—he thought she was a schemer who liked cheap tricks.
But since she used those tricks for good, he turned a blind eye, though his opinion of her wasn't high.
Now, though… that changed.
Faced with a growingly dangerous Buu, he expected Moss to hide and wait it out.
But she chose to lead the charge.
"So you're a true warrior after all." Old Supreme Kai chuckled quietly.
She had her flaws—but in the end, she was a warrior.
