She prayed while gazing out the car window. However, her expression gradually hardened as she recalled their current location.
Aurora noticed Alex still there, like he was waiting for her, talking on the phone, not far from the car.
Once her expression regained calmness, Aurora quickly exited the car and walked toward Alex. She saw him finishing his call and smiling at her.
Just as she was about to speak, he asked, "Are you done?"
"Yeah, I am all set. Why are we here, Alex?" Although Aurora already knows the answer, she still asks.
Alex ignored her question and asked, "May I know why Danny Hamilton called you this early?"
His voice sounded casual, yet Aurora could easily sense jealousy in his eyes.
