The atmosphere grew heavier, the surroundings darkening further. Arya felt something was off about this dungeon and the monsters within it. Thinking back, he realized that every creature they had faced so far—including the supposed boss—was only E-rank. That didn't match the dungeon's supposed D-rank classification.
Then, it hit him—this wasn't a D-rank dungeon. It was an E-rank one.
His mind raced. Why did they lie to us?
Before he could process it further, a sudden tremor shook the ground. A massive rock collapsed behind them, sealing off their only exit. They were trapped.
Panic spread among the group. One of the D-rankers, who had been drinking earlier, slumped to the ground. "I'm not going any further," he muttered.
Another D-ranker, also drunk, shook his head. "Me neither."
A third one sighed. "I'll stay here too. We need protection in case anything happens."
A C-ranker nodded. "Alright, I'll stay behind with you."
