Thanks to The Apostles hardend and sigmalike attitude, the members of the strike team didn't have any other choice than to seeth in their questions and stay silent.
While being escorted, a dying and desperate voice called out my name which stopped me dead in my tracks.
"R-R-Reno Renly... E-Class".
I spun around on my heels to see who it was— Trooper.
He had finally waken up from his unconscious state, his body still roughed up and battered but this time it was covered in all soughts of bandages and cast.
He was craddled up in Tanks arm like a helpless baby. He was helpless and without strength to perform any task of any kind.
"You... You have my respect... Huh..." He said with one last breath and passed out again.
The room fell silent for a couple seconds, that is until I turned around and encouraged The Apostle and his agents to continue walking.
I didn't say anything back.
