Jack's family, accompanied by Ava, soared through the sky on the flying magic boat, heading toward Jakartha City in the 5th Zone. The magical vessel glided effortlessly through the air, its smooth surface reflecting the golden sunlight. The hum of enchanted energy vibrated softly beneath their feet.
As they neared the city, their arrival did not go unnoticed. The sleek flying boat, carrying an Angel, became an instant spectacle.
WHOOSH!
The vessel cut through the air, descending gradually.
Gasps echoed from the streets below. Whispers spread like wildfire among the gathered crowds.
"Look! They're arriving on a flying boat! Who are they?"
"They're with an Angel… does that mean they're important figures?"
"I heard only the most exceptional Otherworlders receive full guidance from Angels. Normal Otherworlders get their guidance only once!"
The noise in the city intensified as more onlookers gathered. Merchants paused their sales, adventurers halted their conversations, and city guards turned their gazes skyward.
As the boat descended, Jack's family took in the vastness of Jakartha City. Towering buildings lined the bustling streets, and thousands of Otherworlders moved about, their expressions filled with excitement and anticipation. Today marked a significant event, the grand opening of the Adventurer's Guild. However, before heading there, they had another crucial task to complete.
------
Registering at the Otherworlders Ascendants Association;
Their first stop was the Otherworlders Ascendants Association, an organization established to maintain order and track the progress of all Otherworlders who had begun their journey as Ascendants. The building was massive, resembling a grand palace, its exterior shimmering with enchantments. Glowing runes danced across its walls, signifying the powerful magic embedded within.
As they stepped inside, the grand hall unfolded before them a vast chamber filled with numerous registration counters. The air hummed with energy as officials moved swiftly, ensuring the process remained efficient. A long line of Otherworlders stretched before them, all eager to obtain their official Ascendant License ID Cards. The atmosphere was tense yet filled with excitement, as each individual waited for their turn to undergo the Ascendant Test.
One by one, participants were called forward. The process was simple yet significant; each person had to provide their details and place their hand on the Crystal Ball of Ascendancy, a powerful artifact that gauged one's level and professional path.
Jack's Turn;
When Jack's name was called, he confidently stepped forward. A female receptionist, dressed in formal robes, looked up from her documents.
"Name and professional path?" she asked.
"Jack Wilson. Assassin," he answered calmly.
She nodded, making notes before gesturing toward the Crystal Ball of Ascendancy.
"Place your hand on the crystal."
Jack did as instructed. The moment his palm made contact, the crystal shone with a blinding golden light, pulsing with raw energy. Moments later, glowing text appeared in mid-air for all to see:
[ Star Level: 1st Star Magic Circle Mage & Aura Force Ring Master (Peak Stage) ]
[ Professional Path: Assassin
Elemental Affinities: Pyro (Fire) ]
A wave of murmurs swept through the crowd.
"A peak-level 1st Star? He's just a step away from breaking through!"
"He's dual-path too? A Magic Circle Mage and Aura Force Ring Master?"
Jack remained composed as the receptionist finished noting down the information. Soon, she handed him a small magical plaque, his Ascendant License ID Card, an item that would serve as his official identification.
James's Turn;
Next, James stepped forward. His towering presence and composed aura made many watch in anticipation. The receptionist glanced up at him.
"Name and professional path?"
"James Wilson, Beast Tamer," he said in a deep voice.
"Place your hand on the crystal."
The moment his palm touched the Crystal Ball of Ascendancy, an intense dual-colored glow radiant gold and abyssal black exploded outward. The swirling energy pulsed violently before stabilizing. Then, glowing text appeared:
[ Star Level: 2nd Star Magic Circle Mage & Aura Force Ring Master (Mid Stage) ]
[ Professional Path: Beast Tamer ]
[ Elemental Affinities: Phoebus (Light), Erebus (Darkness) ]
A stunned silence spread across the room before hushed whispers erupted.
"He's already 2nd Star Mid-Stage?"
"A Beast Tamer with both Light and Darkness elements? That's unheard of!"
""he contrast between those elements is extreme. How can he control both?"
James remained unfazed, merely accepting his Ascendant License ID Card when the receptionist handed it over.
Emma's Turn;
Finally, it was Emma's turn. Her composed demeanor and graceful stride drew attention. The receptionist, now slightly nervous after witnessing the previous tests, still maintained professionalism.
"Name and professional path?"
"Emma Wilson, Mage."
"Place your hand on the crystal."
Emma calmly pressed her palm against the Crystal Ball of Ascendancy. Instantly, a vortex of four colors red, blue, brown, and white swirled within the crystal before bursting into a dazzling display of magic. Text materialized in the air:
[ Star Level: 1st Star Magic Circle Mage (Peak Stage) ]
[ Professional Path: Mage ]
[ Elemental Affinities: Pyro (Fire), Hydro (Water), Geo (Earth), Anemo (Wind) ]
Gasps echoed across the hall.
"She has four elemental affinities?"
"A 1st Star Mage already? That's insane!"
"She must be a prodigy. Controlling four elements at once is extremely difficult."
Emma remained composed, accepting her Ascendant License ID Card gracefully.
"Congratulations mom, dad and Big brother" Said with bright smile.
"Thank you my sweet daughter"said James and Emma.
"Thank you little Sofia" said Jack with smile while pinching Sofia's cubby cheeks.
Then Sofia pouted with Angry face and Jack & Sofia's patents laughs for this reaction.
Ava watch them from afar.
Now they Official Recognition as Ascendants
With their registrations complete, Jack, James, and Emma were now officially recognized Ascendants. Holding their Ascendant License ID Cards, they knew this was only the first step of a much larger journey.
Without hesitation, they turned toward their next destination the Adventurer's Guild.
-------
The Adventurer's Guild – First Registration;
After completing their Ascendant registration, Jack's family made their way to the Adventurer's Guild. The streets were bustling with eager newcomers, all hoping to become registered adventurers. The guild building loomed over the surrounding structures, its grand facade adorned with an emblem of crossed swords and a shield, a symbol of strength and unity.
The entrance was crowded with hopeful applicants, forming a long line that stretched outside the doors. Jack's group patiently waited their turn, observing the diverse crowd warriors clad in heavy armor, mages in flowing robes, archers adjusting their bows, and beast tamers with mystical companions by their side.
Finally, after a long wait, they stepped inside.
The grand hall of the guild unfolded before them, a massive space teeming with activity. A large quest board dominated one side of the room, filled with various missions ranging from simple gathering tasks to high-risk monster hunts. Multiple counters lined the opposite wall, each occupied by guild officials managing registrations. The atmosphere was lively, with groups of adventurers discussing their next missions.
At last, their turn arrived.
They approached the registration counter, where a stern-looking woman with sharp eyes and a professional demeanor awaited them. Her uniform bore the insignia of the guild, marking her as a Senior Receptionist.
She glanced up as they handed over their Ascendant License ID Cards.
Conversation with the Receptionist
"Welcome to the Adventurer's Guild. Before we proceed, I need to verify your details. Let's begin with you," she said while looking at Jack. "State your full name, professional path, and any special abilities you wish to disclose."
Jack hesitated briefly before answering. "Jack Wilson, My professional path is Assassin."
The receptionist nodded and checked his Ascendant License ID Card, then input the details into a glowing registration crystal on the desk.
"Assassins are specialists in stealth, precision attacks, and high-speed combat. Do you have any specific elemental affinities?"
"Pyro elemental affinity, but I specialize in shadow techniques and swift executions."
She raised an eyebrow. "A Pyro-elemental assassin with shadow techniques? Interesting. Any additional skills you'd like to mention?"
"Enhanced agility, lethal close-range combat, and adaptability in various combat situations."
The receptionist recorded his information before stamping an official seal onto his file.
"Understood. You are now officially registered as an Adventurer-Class Assassin. Here is your Adventurer's Guild Membership Badge. Keep it safe; it serves as proof of your status." She handed him a small silver badge engraved with his rank.
She then turned to James. "Next. State your full name, professional path, and elemental affinities."
James spoke calmly. "James Wilson. Beast Tamer."
The receptionist's expression changed slightly, indicating interest.
"A Beast Tamer? That's a rare path. Most Beast Tamers work closely with summoned or bonded creatures. Do you have any contracted beasts?"
"Yes. I also specialize in dual-element mastery Phoebus (Light) and Erebus (Darkness)."
A few nearby adventurers overheard this and exchanged surprised glances.
The receptionist's eyes widened slightly. "Light and Darkness? That's… quite the contrast. Most who attempt to control both elements end up losing balance."
James smirked slightly. "I make it work."
She nodded, impressed. "I see. Any particular combat style?"
"Tactical coordination with beasts, reinforcement magic, and elemental fusion techniques."
The receptionist finished inputting his data, then handed him his Adventurer's Badge, this one adorned with a beast emblem, signifying his class.
"James, you are now officially recognized as an Adventurer-Class Beast Tamer. This badge will grant you access to guild resources, quests, and beast contracts when available."
She then looked at Emma. "And finally, your details?"
Emma spoke with confidence. "Emma Wilson, Mage."
The receptionist nodded. "Mages form the backbone of many adventuring parties. What elements do you specialize in?"
"I wield four elements—Pyro (Fire), Hydro (Water), Geo (Earth), and Anemo (Wind)."
A few nearby applicants murmured in surprise. Wielding multiple elements was a sign of immense potential.
The receptionist raised an eyebrow. "Four elements? That is extremely rare. Do you have a preferred spellcasting style?"
"Versatile spellcasting, multi-element fusion, and strategic area-of-effect attacks."
The receptionist wrote down her details, visibly impressed.
"Noted. You are now officially registered as an Adventurer-Class Mage. Here is your Adventurer's Badge, inscribed with a magic rune to signify your class." She handed Emma her badge.
Now They Officially Recognized Adventurers
With their registrations complete, Jack, James, and Emma now held their Adventurer's Guild Membership Badges, small but powerful symbols of their new status.
The receptionist gave them a final glance before speaking.
"Congratulations. You are now officially part of the Adventurer's Guild. Your badges will allow you to accept quests, access training facilities, and participate in ranked challenges. Be aware that your actions as adventurers will be monitored, and your reputation will affect your rank and privileges. If you have any questions, seek out a Guild Official."
Jack nodded. "Understood."
James asked, "Are there any beginner-ranked quests we can accept immediately?"
The receptionist gestured toward the massive quest board. "Yes. The F and E-rank missions are suitable for new adventurers. You may take up to three quests at a time, provided they do not exceed your current rank."
Emma glanced at the board. "And how does ranking up work?"
"Guild ranks are determined by completion of quests, personal achievements, and combat evaluations. The ranking system is as follows:
F-Rank (Beginner Adventurers)
E-Rank (Low-level Adventurers)
D-Rank (Intermediate Adventurers)
C-Rank (Skilled Adventurers)
B-Rank (Advanced Adventurers)
A-Rank (Elite Adventurers)
S-Rank (Top-Tier Legends)
To advance, you must complete specific rank-up trials or accumulate enough achievements."
Jack, James, and Emma exchanged glances, understanding that their journey as adventurers had just begun.
With their Adventurer's Guild Membership Badges secured, they turned toward the quest board, ready to take on their first official mission
