The Bilson family were trapped in their building with their son named Joshua during the war.
This was an unexpected ambush launched by the Chinese, on February 8th 1999, the Americans were losing the war slowly until an organization known as The Agency owned by a billionaire named Mr. Hayman, decided to help their country.
But that day Mr. Bilson and his wife were trapped in his house on fire. His only son was there in fear.
The Bilson family were scientists who created The Cordova, an AI mother box that was able to control any technological device.
The Cordova is strong enough to power an entire country and enhance it's technical abilities.
They didn't think they would make it out alive so instantly they made their son's DNA the key to activating the Cordova.
Joshua was a brilliant five year old kid.
His parents told him to get out through the vent, but Joshua was scared of leaving his parents behind.
"Joshua. Promise me you will protect our family's secret inventions." Joshua's mother said with tears rolling down her eyes.
"Mother I don't want to lose you. This thing is a little too much for me to handle. I don't know if I can do it alone mother." Joshua said brawling out his eyes.
"My boy you have been our only son since day one. What ever you accomplish ever since you did it alone. And I trust you on this one. I love you and no matter where you go we will be there to guide you." Joshua's father said.
He looked down with tearing eyes and hugged them so tight and said "I love you both so much. And I promise not to let you down."
Then he ran into the flames and went out through the vents.
Immediately he got outside and saw an Agent named Judy on suit saying "Kid are you ok? Come on let's get you to the ship".
Joshua followed and got to the ship turned back to see his building explodes he knelt down in tears and started screaming.
The war went on as the Agency faught with their gadgets and tech, the Chinese had no choice but to retreat.
It was a war lost for the Chinese and a war won for the Americans.
But still thousands of lives where lost.
The next day the every citizen saved by the Agency was treated and sent back to the country.
The Federal government was pleased with the assistance the Agencies gave, they came together and decided to thank Mr. Hayman massively in a public show.
So that morning Agent Judy came to the spot Joshua was lying " Good morning kid. I noticed you didn't sleep at all last night.
Talk to me did you lose some one back there".
She said to Joshua.
"My parents where in the building when it exploded." He said it with is face down.
"Oh boy that is a lot to take in as a kid. Am sorry about that. "What is your name again?
She asked. "Joshua" he replied.
"See Joshua. this thing happens and we don't know why. I lost my parents in college. I cried my heart out. Until I realized that..... That's not what they expect of me. They didn't leave me so I cry all day. It was all for a purpose. They expect you to pick up from their mistakes and make sure you rewrite it. They want you to stand up not only for yourself but for them.
You have a greater future and don't let their death take that away from you okay?."
Joshua looked at her and hugged her instantly, he said "You sound just like my Mother. Thank you for helping me Miss?".
"Judy. I go by Agent Judy but Joshua you can call me Miss Judy". She replied.
She looked at him holding his shoulders and said "So you don't have any one back home to go back to. What do you say I take good care of you here in the Agency."
He replied "As a mother?. Cause I could really make use of a mother."They both laughed.
"Then you have to buckle up the cause all Agents have to attend to the public acknowledgement hosted by the Federal government." Said Judy.
The first ever appearance made by the Agency was to help the country win a war.
The event was streamed on National television, both the president and the ministers of the United States where present in that event.
Just be for Mr. Heyman was about to make his entry to the event he addressed all Agents that were present during the war.
"For ten years the Agency has be operating undercover. Two nights ago the Chinese attacked our coast and where getting the upper hand in the fight. But I thought of it and I said if we the Americans lost it will only be a matter of time till the Chinese find out about our operations. Then I sent you all top guns in the Agency to go defend our country. Well as predicted we won and now the country has chosen to acknowledge us in public. I want to let you know that after this event we may be operating with the Federal government awareness. It's time we step out of the shadows to build a noble future together."
"Yeah!!!!" The agents said as they applause together.
In the midst of the agents Joshua was standing beside Judy and Mr. Heyman noticed him and he said "Come here little boy", Mr. Heyman said as Joshua looked at Judy and walked forward. "What's your name?",He asked. "I am Joshua", Joshua replied. "Good one Joshua. Judy are you with him?", He asked. "Yes sir, I found him alone during the war and I found out that he lost his parents so I decided to take him in" She replied. "Is that true?, he asked Joshua.
"Yes sir." Joshua replied with boldness.
Mr. Heyman smiles saying "I like him. Do well to bring him to my office later in the day okay?". As she replied "Yes sir."
Mr. Heyman made his entire time to the event as the broadcasters took pictures and videos him, he was displayed on National television,
So he waved as he sits down.
The event was on going as Joshua and Judy sat close to each other.
After the event some of the Agents came to Joshua's space in the Agency rooms to know him and give him a warm welcome.
He was a very understanding kid and the Agents loved having him around.
Judy then took him to Mr. Heyman office
Knocks once and then opened the door saying "Boss. Joshua and I are here".
"Come in he said" as they both walked in Mr. Heyman told Judy to leave for now.
"So sir what should I call you?", Joshua said.
"Well you can call me Mr. Heyman. Your a very brave looking boy." They both had an extremely long conversation about the Agency.
Mr. Heyman came to the conclusion of training Joshua as an agent in the Agency.
Not only as an Agent but a son.
Then Joshua thought of tell Mr. Hayman about his family secret invention but didn't see the need for it yet.
"Thank you very much sir. I won't let you down." Joshua said.
"Well your training will begin from tomorrow as student. Cause you have to be educationally sound before you become an agent.
Later that day he left for his room not long enough did agent Judy come in asking if he was okay.
" Yes. And I will begin my agent classes tomorrow". Joshua boldly looked at her and said she saw the joy in his face and smiled deeply.
