....
Forty years ago, the world as humanity knew it was shattered.
Mana, an unseen force of limitless potential, surged into existence, twisting nature. Once bound by the natural order, ordinary creatures mutated into magical beasts, their bodies infused with untamed power, and their instincts sharpened to a lethal edge. Fragile and unprepared, humanity was at the mercy of an evolving world that no longer belonged to them.
Cities fell overnight. Armies crumbled beneath the claws and fangs of creatures that defied logic. For a time, it seemed as though mankind was destined to become nothing more than a forgotten remnant of a world that had outgrown them.
Then, the gods intervened.
From their celestial thrones, they took pityâor perhaps interestâin the mortals struggling against the tide of annihilation. Each god, ruler of primordial forces, reached down and bestowed fragments of their power upon chosen individuals, embedding within them the essence of divinity itself.
The Divine Bloodlines were born.
Of these chosen, five stood above all others, Their gifts shaped the foundation of the world. Their power was unparalleled, their presence unstoppable.
The Bloodline of the Fire God â Wielders of flame, destruction incarnate. Their wrath burned away the tides of beasts, purging the land in cleansing fire.
The Bloodline of the Water God â Masters of the seas and the currents of life, bending water to heal and devastate.
The Bloodline of the Air God â Sovereigns of the sky, faster than the eye could follow, striking like the wind.
The Bloodline of the Earth God â Guardians of stability, unshakable and immovable, carving mountains with their strength.
The Bloodline of the Lightning God â The wrath of the storm, their power crackling with raw destruction, swift as the heavens' fury.
These five would come to be known as the Higher Gods of Life and Destructionâthe architects of humanity's resurgence. Their champions, the rulers of the new world, would forge civilizations upon the bones of fallen empires.
But power breeds conflict and the gods were not without their ambitions.
As humanity reclaimed its place in the world, alliances were formed, rivalries ignited, and a new age of power rose. The Higher Clan took over the lands as the ruler, each taking over a continent, to rule over.
