Lisa watched him with eyes widened. She could tell that Paulo was wired and then he started waving for her to keep talking. This was his way of getting whoever was listening (definitely her father) to believe that they were still conversing.
"You're not going to talk to me, right? You know what, I don't care. I'm going to ask my father to take you back." She said, putting every emotion into her voice as she started looking around her bedroom for something.
Paulo still wore his sad expression on his face as he observed her.
"I'm really sorry, Miss. I'm taking full accountability for my behaviour." He said to her,
"Why are you calling me that? It's Lisa. I'm your Lisa. You want to tell me you have forgotten all those moments we spent together? The love we shared?" She asked as she opened a drawer and pulled out a pen. There was a notepad by the side of her bed that she grabbed and approached him.
Paulo watched her as she started scribbling on the notepad.
