Ravik's body began to change.
His broad frame slimmed down and his muscles subtly reshaping.
His sharp jawline softened, and his rough hair grew longer, strands falling over his delicate face.
Even his clothes shifted slightly to accommodate his new form.
The fire-using villain stopped mid-attack, blinking in confusion.
"Ravik…?"
The hero also faltered, eyes widening as he stared. "What… just happened?"
Ravik, or rather, her now, looked down at herself in horror.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!"
Her voice was distinctly feminine now, and her hands trembled as she touched her now softer, curvier frame.
She grabbed her own throat, eyes wild with disbelief. "Why do I sound like this?! What the hell did you do?!"
Her partner staggered back, just as confused. "I-I didn't do anything!"
Zain bit his lip to stop from laughing. "Holy shit. It actually worked."
His system really could change reality itself.
And now, Ravik was panicking.
"This… this is some kind of sick joke!"
She grabbed the collar of her now slightly looser gang uniform, shaking.
"This can't be real! I was just—what the fuck happened to me?!"
Zain grinned. "Well, well… looks like my system isn't just limited to combat abilities."
The hero was still in shock, his eyes darting between the transformed Ravik and the fire-wielding villain.
His face turned slightly red whether from confusion, embarrassment, or disbelief, even he wasn't sure.
"Damn it. Whatever the hell you did, it doesn't matter. Don't think you can beat me so easily!"
Despite his words, there was hesitation in his stance.
His grip tightened into fists, but his mind was clearly elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Ravik stared at her own body. She was in horror.
She turned to her partner, frowning.
"Torkin! What the hell do I do now?! How did I turn into a girl?!"
Torkin, the flame-user, took a small step back, his gaze flicking down.
The gang uniform Ravik wore had become looser, clearly not fitting her new frame properly.
He swallowed, awkwardly avoiding eye contact.
"I-I don't know what happened either!"
He stammered, his usual cocky demeanor shaken.
Ravik clenched her fists, still feeling the unnatural shift in her body. "This isn't right... this doesn't make sense!"
Torkin gritted his teeth, forcing himself to focus.
"Forget it for now!" he snapped.
"We need to kill the hero and retreat. We'll deal with… whatever the hell this is later."
Without waiting for a response, Torkin charged forward.
"Ravik! Make it quick!"
The hero, finally snapping out of his daze, smirked.
"You think I haven't dealt with fire before?" he taunted.
"My hardened skin will block your flames just like last time."
Torkin's smirk matched his.
"Then let's turn up the heat."
With a sudden burst, the flames around his hands ignited even brighter, turning from orange to blue.
The hero, sensing the heat, immediately hardened his skin even further.
But even then—he felt it.
The heat was stronger. More intense. It wasn't like before.
Torkin saw the flicker of hesitation and grinned.
"Not so cocky now, huh?"
He sneered, stepping forward.
"I told you... I just had to turn up the heat."
The hero clenched his fists, gritting his teeth.
"Tch… You think I'll go down that easily?"
Torkin threw his hands forward, sending a wave of blue flames straight at him.
The firestorm engulfed the hero and for a moment, the flames consumed everything.
Torkin's eyes gleamed in triumph. "Now, die!"
Ravik, still adjusting to her transformed body, took a step forward, watching the flames devour their opponent.
But then—before they could celebrate—
A shadow moved.
Before either of them could react, a pair of hands shot out from the other side, grabbing both of their heads.
"It's time to end this."
A cold, amused voice whispered from behind them.
Zain.
Their eyes widened in pure shock.
"Wha—?!"
Torkin barely had time to react before Zain's grip tightened.
The Hard Grip ability activated.
Before they could even scream—
CRUSH.
Their skulls cracked instantly.
Their heads exploded under the sheer force of his grip.
Blood and brain matter splattered across the battlefield.
Their bodies dropped to the ground, twitching for a moment before going completely still.
Zain sighed, shaking off the blood from his hands.
"Well, that was easy. I never thought that both of you were this weak."
He then smirked.
"Maybe it's because you're all just low-tier villains and heroes."
On the side, Ravik stood still, her entire body tense.
"Who the hell is this guy?"
---
Zain glanced at the female Ravik, a smirk playing on his lips.
"So, you're the only one left, huh?"
Ravik's fists clenched, her newly softened features turned into a scowl.
"Who the hell are you?! How did you kill both my partners and that hero so easily?!"
Zain chuckled, tilting his head. "Me? I'm just someone who likes to play around."
His eyes gleamed with amusement as he took a step closer. "And right now… you've piqued my interest."
Ravik's scowl deepened. "Tch. What the hell do you mean?"
Zain's smirk widened. "I wonder… since you've become a girl, is it just your appearance that's changed… or is it everything?"
Ravik stiffened, her face turned into confusion. "Damn you!"
Her hands clenched into fists. "You're the one who did this to me, aren't you?!"
Zain snapped his fingers. "Ding-dong! You're absolutely right!"
He took another step forward, eyeing her up and down. "So, just sit tight and let me examine you closely, yeah?"
Ravik's eyes flashed with fury. "Oh, hell no!"
Without hesitation, she lunged forward, delivering a powerful kick straight toward his head.
FWOOOSH!
Her enhanced leg strength still as formidable as ever.
But—
Zain barely moved.
His hand shot up, catching her leg effortlessly.
Ravik's eyes widened in shock.
"What?!"
Zain gripped her leg tighter, his Hard Grip ability making it feel as if a steel vice had clamped down on her limb.
His smirk never faded.
"Now, let's observe your new body closely, shall we?"
Ravik struggled, gritting her teeth. "Damn you! Let go!"
Zain only chuckled, tightening his grip further.
"Oh? What's the rush? We're just getting started."
