The training ground behind Konoha—
A vast, barren wasteland.
This was the place where Sakiya once unleashed an enormous fireball, leaving behind a massive, crater-like scar on the land. The center of it was a deep abyss, and the surrounding area was smooth and flat—perfect for a battle between those with immense destructive power.
In the middle of the wasteland, Naruto and Sakiya stood 30 meters apart, staring each other down.
Watching from the sidelines were Kakashi and Jiraiya.
Tsunade stood between the two fighters, acting as the referee. She took a deep breath, glanced at them both, and then shouted—
"Begin!"
With that, she immediately leaped back, clearing the battlefield.
Naruto and Sakiya remained locked in place, eyes meeting across the thirty-meter gap.
It was neither too far nor too close—just enough space for both to unleash their full power.
Naruto took a deep breath, steadying himself.
He knew Sakiya was strong. She had always been strong.
But after his time training, he was confident he could win.
That confidence came from Sage Mode.
He had been training at Mount Myoboku, preparing for the inevitable war that would shake the ninja world. When he heard that he was expected to stay behind instead of fighting, he rushed back to challenge Tsunade's decision.
He hadn't expected that would lead to a fight with Sakiya.
Still, he smiled at her.
"Sakiya! I'll show you the results of my training!" Naruto declared, clenching his fists.
"I'm not the same person I was before!"
With that, he took his stance.
"Sakiya, here I come!"
But just as he was about to move, Sakiya calmly raised a single finger and pointed toward him.
Naruto blinked.
Then, instinctively, he looked up.
His stomach dropped.
A massive array of glowing circles had formed in the sky, their center precisely aligned with where he was standing.
Before he could react, Sakiya lazily flicked her finger downward.
Naruto's eyes widened in alarm.
The floating sigils glowed.
Without hesitation, he lunged forward—just as a beam of pure energy obliterated the ground where he had been standing.
For a moment, the air froze.
Then—
BOOM.
A blinding white light erupted, sending a scorching shockwave in all directions.
Everything caught in its path turned to ash.
Naruto had managed to dodge, but the sheer force of the blast sent him hurtling through the air.
He twisted midair, barely regaining control of his momentum.
Then he looked at Sakiya again—
And saw her calmly raising her hand once more.
More glowing circles stacked in front of her palm.
Naruto's heart pounded.
She's doing it again?!
I can't keep dodging!
He immediately formed a hand seal.
POOF!
A shadow clone appeared beside him.
At that moment, Sakiya's palm lit up, and in an instant, a fireball shot forward.
Naruto barely had time to react.
At the last second, his shadow clone kicked him aside, sending him tumbling just as the fireball whizzed past, missing him by a hair's breadth before continuing into the distance.
Naruto crashed onto the ground, breathing heavily.
Then—
BOOM.
A brilliant flash erupted behind him, followed by a deafening explosion.
Naruto's eyes widened as he instinctively glanced back.
A massive fireball had detonated, sending a gigantic mushroom cloud of flames into the sky.
Sweat trickled down his forehead.
If that had hit me… would I have even survived?
From the sidelines, Jiraiya let out a sigh.
"Naruto still has a long way to go… He's way too slow in battle."
Kakashi chuckled. "Well, considering his opponent is Sakiya, it's not surprising that he's a little distracted."
Tsunade remained silent, her gaze locked onto Sakiya.
Even though she had always known the girl was strong, this was on a whole different level.
That wasn't even a serious attack… yet if Naruto had taken a direct hit, it would've been over in one move.
She exhaled slowly. Just how much power does this girl really have?
Meanwhile, Naruto clenched his fists, his breathing steadying.
He had no more doubts.
Tsunade was right—the gap between him and Sakiya was bigger than he had imagined.
If I don't fight at 1,000 percent, I won't even have a chance!
Determination burned in his eyes. He raised his hands in a seal.
"Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
POOF! POOF! POOF!
In an instant, the battlefield flooded with clones, surrounding Sakiya from all sides.
Sakiya tilted her head slightly, a small smile forming on her lips as she looked at Naruto.
"Hmm~ So you're finally getting serious?"
"Then I guess I should too!"
The moment she said that, everyone watching—Naruto, Tsunade, and the others—froze.
Serious?
Sakiya slowly raised her hands toward the sky.
In an instant, glowing magic circles spread out around her, their intricate patterns illuminating the battlefield.
Each circle expanded hundreds of meters wide, surrounding the entire area.
Then, she began to chant:
"O endless sea of origin, wandering at the root… Hold the source of all power… Unleash the might of the ancient world!"
As her words echoed, a terrifying aura erupted from her small frame.
The very air trembled.
Within the magic circle's range, rocks and debris floated, defying gravity.
Tsunade and the others could only watch in stunned silence.
"This chakra… It's stronger than a Tailed Beast!" Tsunade murmured, swallowing hard.
Meanwhile, Naruto had already closed the distance, leading a wave of shadow clones toward Sakiya.
Even as he ran, he felt it—this power was far beyond even the monster inside him.
But!
"I won't back down!"
With determination in his eyes, he raised his hand and shouted:
"Naruto's Infinite Clone Assault!"
The clones rushed in, charging straight at Sakiya.
But not a single one made it within three meters of her.
The sheer pressure radiating from her body was suffocating.
By the time the clones reached five meters, they were already collapsing under the force!
Sakiya's right eye glowed bright red as she stood with her arms raised toward the sky.
Naruto gritted his teeth.
I can't even get close with shadow clones… Then I have no choice—I have to go myself!
He signaled to his clones.
They understood immediately.
With a combined effort, the clones hurled Naruto forward!
But… should he use the Rasengan?
He hesitated.
It was a dangerous technique—he couldn't just use it recklessly on a friend…
Before he could decide, Sakiya lowered her arms.
The chant had ended.
She looked at Naruto and his approaching clones with calm eyes.
Then, she gently waved her right hand.
"Gravity Shift: First Ring—Descend."
In an instant—
A massive force pressed down from above!
BOOM.
The battlefield sank under the sheer weight, the ground compressing by half a meter across hundreds of meters.
All of Naruto's shadow clones vanished on the spot.
Even Naruto himself couldn't withstand it—his body slammed into the ground, unable to move.
From the sidelines, Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Kakashi had instinctively backed away.
They stared at the scene in stunned silence.
A long pause.
Then, Tsunade finally spoke.
"...I think the match is over."
