"Where is this bodyguard?" Tae-gun's voice asked in a frightening tone.
"He's currently at the hospital right now," the bald man answered. "He was attacked by the assassin and is gravely injured."
"Hospital?" Tae-gun frowned. "What's he doing there?"
"Receiving treatment, Master," the bald man said. "We lack some instruments needed to treat the injuries he sustained."
Tae-gun raised a brow. "Since when do we lack? Since when do I lack? I'm pretty sure everything we need to treat any kind of injury or disease is available here—at the mansion's infirmary!"
"M-Master, I'm sorry, it skipped my mind," the bald man apologized.
"Where were you yesterday?" Seyeon asked. "As the Head of Bodyguards, you were supposed to be here yesterday."
"That's true," Tae-gun nodded. "Where were you?"
The bald man frowned a bit. Seeing that there was no way to escape this, he decided to do the unthinkable. He revealed a dagger and stabbed Tae-gun.
"Father!" Seyeon screamed out, throwing a punch at the bald man, who easily avoided it and stabbed her too.
He laughed. "I didn't think it would be this easy to take you two out."
"Baek Sajung!" Seyeon gritted her teeth at him, holding her belly where she had been stabbed.
"Who do you work for?" Tae-gun asked, still bleeding. "The Black Crown?"
"What the hell is a Black Crown?" he asked, raising a brow.
"..." Tae-gun remained quiet, seeing that Sajung had no idea what the Black Crown was.
"Now for the kid—" Just as the bald man turned to face the dining room, he kissed a foot.
Jihoon, in a flash, kicked Sajung's face, sending him flying into the wall. The man was knocked out instantaneously. The doctor, his nurses, and some bodyguards came running just after Jihoon's foot touched Sajung's face. His display of power made the nurses behind the doctor fall in love with him.
The bodyguards led Seyeon and her father to the infirmary for treatment while a nurse stayed behind to attend to Jihoon.
"Are you okay?" the nurse asked him seductively, moving her hands from his shoulders to his chest.
"Um, sure," Jihoon nodded, feeling a little uncomfortable with her behavior. "You should be more worried about Mr. Lee and Miss Lee."
"Don't worry, they'll be fine," the nurse replied, wrapping her hands around him. "Now, where is the drive?"
Jihoon's eyes widened as he realized who she was—another assassin? Just as he tried to pull himself away from her, she blew a kiss at him, and a purple smoke shaped like a kiss covered his face.
As soon as he breathed in the smoke, Jihoon lost himself. He became incredibly dizzy and weak, feeling the urge to do anything the nurse wanted.
"Now, tell me where the drive is."
"The drive, it contains secrets of the Black Crown," Jihoon mumbled loud enough for the nurse to hear.
"Good. I'll give you a kiss for that," she said, then kissed him on the lips. "Now, where is it?"
"Hey! You!" A bodyguard approached them. "What are you two doing?"
"Nothing," the nurse replied to the bodyguard with a smile. "Our guest over here isn't feeling too well."
"Oh," said the bodyguard after glancing at Jihoon. "Take him to the infirmary then. I was sent here to fetch Mr. Baek. I was shocked to hear that he was a spy."
"Really?" The nurse covered her mouth in shock. "How long has he been working here?"
"Ever since the Young Lady was born." The bodyguard lifted the unconscious Mr. Baek and carried him on his shoulders. He glanced at Jihoon. "You really should take him to the infirmary."
"There's no need for that. What he's experiencing now doesn't need treatment. He's just a little tired, that's all. Didn't you hear? He was the one who knocked Mr. Baek unconscious."
"Wow," the bodyguard exclaimed. "Then he must be really tired."
"Mm-hmm," the nurse nodded.
"Anyway, I'll leave you two alone now." The bodyguard bowed, then left.
The nurse then escorted Jihoon to one of the guestrooms and threw him on the bed before locking the door. She lay beside him and whispered into his ear, "Tell me where the drive is, and I'll give you whatever you want."
"Whatever I want?" Jihoon whispered back.
"Yes."
"The drive—the old house," Jihoon whispered.
"Old house?" She grinned. "Where is the old house?"
Jihoon put his hands around her waist and held her tight, jamming his lips against hers. The nurse was stunned at first, but she later gave in to the kiss. A few seconds later, she pushed him away.
"Where is this old house?" she asked.
"Even if you know, you won't be able to get in," he answered.
"Why is that?" she asked.
"Do you know I'm still a virgin?" Jihoon said, wrapping his hands around her.
"How old are you?"
"27," he whispered.
"Do you want me to take it away?" She licked her lips.
All of a sudden, the door was kicked open, and Sera stepped into the room. Once she saw what was going on, her mouth fell wide open.
The nurse quickly stood up from the bed, but Jihoon pulled her back and held her tightly. Her cheeks turned red in embarrassment.
"Um, Mister, I think you should let me go now," she said, trying to free herself from Jihoon's grip.
"No," Jihoon frowned. "If you want the drive, then you gotta drive me crazy."
"Drive?" Sera squinted, revealing her gun.
The nurse then struck Jihoon on the side of his neck, knocking him out. She quickly freed herself from his grasp and jumped off the bed. The redness in her cheeks quickly faded away as she sighed.
"Who are you?" Sera pointed her gun at the nurse.
"Death," she smiled, taking off her nurse outfit. Underneath was a tight-fitting dark purple suit with two guns secured to her belt.
Sera pulled the trigger, but the woman dodged the bullet with ease before charging at her. Sera fired six more shots, but none found their mark.
The woman kicked the gun out of Sera's hand, and after exchanging blows for some time, she finally beat Sera to the ground. Sera was shocked by the sudden defeat. The fight hadn't even lasted a minute, and she was said to be one of the strongest agents at Black Shield Security.
The woman turned to face Jihoon, who was already wide awake, sitting on the bed. When his gaze met hers, he shivered involuntarily.
"You," she said. "You're mine."
She then jumped out of the window. Sera ran after her, but when she looked outside, the woman had vanished.
"What just happened?" Jihoon's voice echoed from behind her.
Sera quickly turned to him. "What did you tell her?"
"I—I'm not sure," Jihoon tried to recall their conversation, but nothing came to mind.
"Do you know where the drive is, then?" she asked.
"The old house," Jihoon replied. "Don't ask me how I know—I just do."
"I'm guessing that's what you told her," Sera muttered, dragging him off the bed and toward the infirmary where Tae-gun was.
"What happened?" A bodyguard approached her.
"I just discovered another assassin!" Sera announced. "And she was disguised as a nurse!"
"What?!" the doctor exclaimed. He glanced around and realized one of the nurses was missing. "Jiha... she started working here about a month ago."
"In that case, we can't be sure which one of you isn't working for the enemy," Sera declared. "I order everyone to leave the mansion now!"
At first, they hesitated, but when Tae-gun's voice boomed, "Listen to her!" they all began exiting the mansion.
Sera called back six bodyguards she trusted, and the doctor picked three nurses who had worked at the mansion for years. The rest were sent outside. She ordered the six bodyguards to inspect the entire mansion and ensure no one else remained inside.
One of the bodyguards headed to the surveillance room, while the other five searched the mansion.
Sera then called Kang Min-chul, who had already left for the company, and informed him of the situation at the Lee mansion.
"I'll send Leo and Logan," he replied. "They're the strongest agents we have at the moment."
"Leo and Logan?" Sera's eyes widened. Those two agents were far stronger than her. "They would be more than enough."
"I'm also sending five of our elite squads," Min-chul added. "Each squad consists of 15 agents."
"Isn't that too much?"
"They've made their move," Min-chul replied. "Protect Tae-gun and Seyeon—I need to meet with them myself."
Sera wanted to ask who he meant by them, but Min-chul had already ended the call.
Two unfamiliar bodyguards wielding shotguns charged into the infirmary.
Sera sprinted toward them and took them down without batting an eye. Jihoon observed her movements intently, as if watching a teacher instruct a student.
Three more bodyguards entered and attacked Sera. They were more skilled than the previous ones, making it difficult for her to handle them.
Five additional men charged toward Tae-gun and Seyeon, guns in hand. The bodyguard in the surveillance room spotted them and alerted the others in the mansion. They all sprinted toward the infirmary, but they knew they wouldn't make it in time.
Sera momentarily shifted her attention from her own battle to the five men heading for Tae-gun and Seyeon. That split-second distraction made her vulnerable—one of the men she was fighting stabbed her in the back.
Just as one of the five men was about to reach Tae-gun, Jihoon leaped in front of him and made the man kiss his foot. The attacker was sent flying several meters away, losing consciousness immediately.
