Chapter 15 - I'm not Weak

A black BMW arrived at the gates of the Lee mansion. The gates automatically opened by themselves, and once the car was inside, they shut back. The car drove to the entrance of the house before finally coming to a stop. Kang Min-chul, Kee Tae-gun, and Crusher all stepped out of the car and walked into the house.

"It's been so long since I saw her," Crusher said, talking about Seyeon.

"You'd be shocked by how mature she has become," Tae-gun replied.

Crusher squinted his eyes. "Where are all the maids and bodyguards?"

"Many of them perished during the attack at the Old House," Kang Min-chul said.

"Old House," Tae-gun said inwardly. "It can't be that Old House, can it?"

"I decided to give them a three-month vacation. They can resume working when everything has settled down," Min-chul added.

Hearing Min-chul's explanation, Crusher nodded. "That Seo kid... he's also here, isn't he?"

"He is," Tae-gun answered.

"How strong is he? At 27, Jisan was a monster," Crusher said.

Min-chul chuckled a bit. "Jisan got weaker as he aged. You should have seen him when he was 16."

"If not for the fact that he was removed from BSS, he would have been the strongest agent at the company," Crusher sighed.

A maid came running after them. "Sir, that mister and miss left moments ago."

"I thought you said you sent all the maids away?" Crusher glanced at Min-chul.

"Crusher, meet Raon, Seyeon's handmaiden," Tae-gun introduced the maid to Crusher.

"Nice to meet you, sir," Raon bowed.

"Raon?" Crusher's jaw fell open. She had been his student when she was younger, but now she looked like a mature woman. "How old are you?"

"24," Raon stated briefly.

"Throw me a punch," Crusher said to her.

Tae-gun and Min-chul tilted their heads. 'What?'

"Sir, I-I can't possibly..." Raon replied in a shaky voice.

"C'mon, do it! Or you'll lose your job," Crusher replied, glancing at Tae-gun. "Got a problem with that?"

"Nope," Tae-gun shook his head. In fact, if Crusher decided to fire every worker at the Lee mansion, Tae-gun wouldn't bat an eye.

Raon gulped as she took her fighting stance and threw a punch at Crusher's chest, but it was weak, so there was no reaction from him.

"You fool!" Crusher boomed, causing everyone around him to shudder in fear. "Is that all you can do? Is that all I taught you? Your family must really be disappointed in you!"

"I-I..." Raon stammered.

"Your mother was brutally murdered while you stood there watching! What sort of child are you?!" Crusher boomed again.

At this point, Tae-gun and Min-chul shifted backward, becoming spectators of the scene before their eyes, as they had absolutely no idea what was really happening.

"I was... I was just a child back then..." Raon sobbed.

Crusher chuckled. "Just a child? Just a child? That's not an excuse! At that age, I was beating people far older than me!"

"There was nothing I could do!" Raon replied in a louder tone.

"You could have fought back! After her death, you came to me and begged me to teach you! You said you wanted to avenge your mother's death, and I took you in and trained you! Is this all that training amounted to?"

"I'm not weak!" Raon boomed.

"If you're not weak, then why did so many of your friends die during the attack on the Old House?! You couldn't save them, just like you couldn't save your mother—"

Raon roared as she threw a punch at Crusher's chest. This time, it was powerful—so powerful that Crusher had to block it. He knew that if he took the punch head-on, he might end up in the grave sooner rather than later.

Even after blocking it, Crusher was pushed back several meters. The punch even dislocated the bones in his arm, and if one listened closely, he actually winced in pain.

Seeing this, Tae-gun and Min-chul's mouths fell open. This was too dumbfounding to believe.

"That's my girl," Crusher smiled.

Meanwhile, back at Red Moon Casino, Jihoon and Seyeon had been handed the flogging of a lifetime.

"Let's get out of here," Seyeon said to Jihoon.

"What?" Jihoon frowned at her words. "What would happen to our steeze then?"

"Steeze?" Seyeon raised a brow. "What's a steeze?"

Jihoon shook his head. "Never mind, but I think you should go. Your dad wouldn't be happy to see you like this."

"Well, I'm already like this," she replied. "Getting hit a few more times wouldn't hurt!"

"Are you two robbers or lovers? 'Cause I have no idea what's actually going on here," Jaesung chuckled.

"Just go," Jihoon replied. "I'll be able to focus better if I'm here alone."

Seyeon hesitated before replying, "Fine, but just don't die."

Then she hugged Jihoon before leaving.

"You really think you'd be able to beat us alone?" the girl asked. "Who do you think you are? I once beat Crusher in a duel."

"Who is Crusher?" Jihoon asked.

"You have no idea who Crusher is?" Jaesung laughed. "There's no way you wouldn't know the strongest man in Korea right now."

"Wow, is he really that strong?" Jihoon asked in doubt. "If he was really that strong, I don't think you guys would be able to beat him."

Jaesung, the girl, and the boy raised their brows, unable to understand what Jihoon was saying.

Jihoon noticed this and elaborated, "What I'm saying is that although you guys are good, I could see mistakes in your fighting techniques."

"What? You know our fighting techniques?" the boy and the girl asked in unison.

"Mm-hmm," Jihoon nodded, assuming a totally different stance from before. His aura completely changed at that moment, sending shivers down the spine of even the girl sitting in the corner.

'Just who is this guy?' the boy sighed inwardly.

When Jaesung saw the stance Jihoon had assumed, his eyes widened in disbelief—he recognized it. It belonged to Black Death, a deadly assassin from the Black Crown.

"You... you..." Jaesung quickly ran to the nearest window and jumped outside.

The boy and the girl were stunned by Jaesung's sudden escape, but they didn't think too much about it and attacked Jihoon.

The fight lasted for about ten minutes. The girl and the boy thought they had the advantage in the first five minutes, but as time went on, they realized they were getting tired, whereas Jihoon's attacks remained sharp and uniform.

Finally, at the tenth minute, Jihoon used the side of his palm to knock them both out before glancing at the girl.

"Get out of here. Your sister sent me," Jihoon said, then jumped out the window and ran after Jaesung.

The girl nodded without saying a word and left the room.

Driving his black Lamborghini, Jaesung didn't slow down one bit. He had to get as far away from the casino as possible, but he wondered whether he was actually fast enough.

All of a sudden, he saw a power bike gaining on him from behind. He stomped on the gas and drove even faster, but the bike wasn't slowing down either. Jaesung panicked and shifted gears, doubling the speed of his Lamborghini.

He looked in the rearview mirror and saw that the power bike had stopped some distance behind him. He smiled at the sight, but what he didn't know was that he was about to lose his life.

Suddenly, a large truck sped through the intersection and slammed into Jaesung's vehicle. The Lamborghini tumbled and tumbled before crashing into a nearby store and exploding.

Jihoon started his bike and zoomed off, heading for the Lee mansion. He wasn't even halfway there when blood started flowing from his nose. Jihoon removed his mask and sighed. His vision blurred, and he fainted, falling off the speeding bike in the process.

At the BSS interrogation room, Sera sat across from the red-haired girl Crusher had defeated with just a wave of his hand. Her hands and legs were cuffed to prevent her from doing anything dangerous.

"Who sent you?" Sera asked.

"You've been asking me that same question for the past six hours, and I've been giving you the same answer: I won't tell you anything," the girl replied.

"Wrong answer," Sera shook her head. "Mr. Kang says you're not from the Black Crown, so who sent you if not them?"

The girl remained silent, staring at the ceiling. "You'd better kill me now."

"What the fck are you talking about?" Sera frowned, revealing an injection as she approached the girl. "This contains a drug designed by our smartest scientist. One dose of this baby, and you'll be spilling the truth in no time."

"You definitely don't want to do that," the girl chuckled.

Sera ignored her warning and injected her with the drug. The girl let out a devilish laugh as soon as the needle left her skin. She broke the handcuffs and pushed Sera to the ground, their faces now just inches apart.

The girl's eyes had turned blood red, and black veins pulsed beneath her skin. But even with her terrifying appearance, all Sera could say was, "Beautiful."
