Ark walked into the bathroom with a towel tied around his waist and was currently vigorously brushing his teeth, a slight scowl on his face.
Once he entered the bathroom, he spat out the remnants of the toothpaste into the sink and rinsed his mouth.
Ark then went right into the shower, allowing the gentle stream of water to wash over his body as he applied the soap.
'What the hell is going on?'
He glanced at himself in the bathroom mirror, watching as the water moved over the dark circles around his eyes.
Throughout the night, Ark could not sleep. Anytime he would shut his eyes, the events of last night would play around in his head and each time tried to make sense of it he would fail miserably.
It was just a lot to unpack. His father was a curse bearer, and there were two of them…
"Argh!—uhum, damn."
Ark cursed as soap found its way into his mouth due to his frustrated scream.
'Berry flavoured soap…'
