Rain began to fall shortly after the gate opened. The sound of the raindrops beating against the pavement mixed up with the ever present screams of the people all around Ark.
A car sped through the road, hoping to crash through the ants and flee, only to get held back by two of the apocalyptic ants.
The door was ripped out of the hinges and a screaming man was extracted from the vehicle, but the ant could pierce his soft skin with their terrible fangs, someone appeared next to it.
Whoosh!
Ark's axe found a gap in the exoskeleton of the ant's leg, the axe dug deep, contacting flesh just before ripping out its leg.
The ant let out a pained screech as it released the man and staggered back.
Once free, the man took off in another direction.
"Wait!" Ark screamed out but the man did not listen, instead, he kept running towards the next building.
Just as he neared the end of the road, his body was split in half, as an ant charged at him, impaling him with its horns.
