"A great day for the Empire Commodore, and a great day for you," the Grand Moff remarked.

"Thank you, Governor Tarkin."

"Don't thank me yet, Commodore ; there is still much to be done, and in that you are being assigned, at 13:00 you are to report to the landing bay. A shuttle is awaiting your arrival to take you to your new ship. I hope you find its accommodations suitable for your future requirements."

"You honor me, Governor Tarkin." Titus responded.

"The honor is all mine, but ready yourself for the road ahead; it will be faced with difficulties far beyond your expectations. "

"I'll take your advice to heart, sir."

"Good,Tarkin replied before walking away, wine in hand.

Titus looked on steadfastly, gazing as his superior began a conversation with the regional governor and other bureaucrats in charge of this sector.

Today was a great day; he wouldn't show how elated he was as that would seem unbecoming, nor did he ever voice any opinions of his post. It was his duty, and his duty to this system has now ended.

Nothing much happened on Jelucan, neither in its sector nor in its neighboring one, which was a good thing and a bad one. Bad in the case of nothing to do and being left restless with perhaps no possibility of promotion anytime soon if not for him pursuing pirates on the merit of them stealing mining equipment and minerals a few months ago. Now here he was enjoying the success of a risk he took months ago.

"From pirates to rebel outlaws, I wonder which is worse. Is something a bother,Sir?" "Rommel interrupted his thoughts.

"Nothing of importance, Lieutenant. But updates from Governor Tarkin, we are moving out at 13:00. Get yourself ready by then and advise the others of the new recourse."

"Were we not supposed to move out in two days? How is it now today?" Rommel argued, his expression now turning grim.

"Take it up with the Grand Moff, Blackwater; orders are orders. You're not the only one that abhors the changes, but it's out of my hands," Titus quelled his opinion.

"But…

"Just follow my instructions, Lieutenant," he said definitively, dismissing the man.

"As you wish then, sir," he said, nodding once more before walking off to fulfill his commands.

He wanted to go, but it appeared that others wanted to stay longer than was appropriate.

"Moff Palatin"

"Grand Moff Tarkin!"

"It is a privilege, Grand Moff, to once again be graced by your presence. "You recall Senator Barca, Sir Oris Kyrell of Kyrell Mines, and Sir Mandon Moore of Moore Transports," Moff Palantin said.

"A pleasure again, gentlemen," Tarkin replied, nodding to his audience.

Only a year had passed since the empire had conquered Jelucan, and many of its people had come to terms with the fact. As a former CIS (Confederacy of Independent Systems) supporter, Jelucan's significance was emphasized not only because of its previous loyalty but also because of its location along the Hydian Way, a significant hyperlane route, and its abundance of minerals, which the empire could now access through regional mining firms. These mining companies sold these resources to the empire at wholesale prices in exchange for protection, infrastructure, and technological development.

"Kyrell?" As though attempting to recall something, the Grand Moff uttered those words to himself.

"I believe I've met your son before; he's a great young man," Tarkin says.

"And there is not a single day that passes in which he does not tell his story about how he first met you, Grand Moff Tarkin."

"It seems you have supplanted me in being his role model." Oris Kyrell jested, getting laughs from the men.

Ord Trasi

"This is shuttle HS-7681; we are approaching and requesting permission to land," the Pilot said as they drew closer to Ord Trasi Imperial Station.

"Shuttle HS-7681, you are cleared for landing pad 4; please proceed to Bay 345, coordinates 7-5-8-1-1-6; acknowledge please."

"Affirmative Landing Control ,"Replied the pilot.

"Senior Lieutenant Pyle, reduce to half speed upon docking," Titus orders.

"As you wish, sir," said the lead pilot.

Ord Trasi was impressive, no doubt about it. The enormous structures circling the blue gem of a planet. As far as he could see, the planet was ringed with orbital shipyards, star destroyers, and countless smaller military and commerce vessels.

However, contrasted to his homeworld, Fondor, Ord Trasi couldn't match structurally with such an engineering powerhouse.

"We've arrived at our destination; I don't need to tell you what is expected of you because each of you knows already. You are here, especially with me, because you are the greatest in your respective roles." He spoke while pacing, arms behind his back, and head held high.

"And I want the best from each and every one of you. I trust every man and woman here to perform their duties flawlessly. Place your efforts and trust in each other's ability! Push yourself and your teammates to greatness, and you will be rewarded once more. That is all..."Now prepare to debark," he concluded, addressing the junior officers.
