Chapter 26 - -twenty two-

'It's getting late. Where the hell is she?' Boss thought.

Eamon, the Café owner, the man who was taking care of Killa, and the man she was living with were paranoid and did not sit still in his room. He was waiting for her text to explain why she was late or where she had gone.

It was getting darker and darker. He was walking in front of his café, and it started to get colder. He decided to go back to his room to get a coat, but then his eyes glanced at the white paper that fell down on the side of the mattress.

After the old life of Boss, Eamon decided to live alone and take a break from his terrible way of life. He had to get back to his old assistant after a long time and ask him for help to find Killa, a girl who had awakened the energetic, lively side of his body. She wanted to find her hometown, her house, or where she used to live.

The assistant tried his best to find all the information about the mysterious girl of his Boss. But there was a little detail about her if he only found the surface of her story. He started to suspect her because her life was miserable and difficult to dig or find. But after returning to Eamon, he was told there was nothing much to know about Killa Lysander. The only way to know was to go back to the old past, the old way that he and his Boss tried not to live and not to touch it. But unexpectedly and surprisingly, Eamon was so desperate to find her. The assistant needed to do whatever he needed to do for his beloved Boss because of his words.

'Do whatever, just find her.' Eamon,

Of course, he found her, and he knew that she was the family of Lysander, but he told his Boss that she was not the girl that he thought she was. If he went to see her, the truth might not be good for him. But the Boss didn't care at all because he just wanted to see her.

Boss saw Killa and Zadkiel hugging and caring about each other. Their relationship might be special and very important. Boss thought that she belonged to someone that she cared about. Just seeing her safe was enough, and then he decided to get back to his car, leaving them alone and also the assistant who still stood there.

Back in the car, Boss was sitting alone in the back seat, waiting for the assistant to drive him back home. Honestly, he was just sitting there thinking and picturing Killa with that guy and imagining that she might not come back.

Not for long; the assistant got into the car in the back seat that crossed from him, and he did the sign language to Boss.

The assistant: 'I recorded the conversation.'

Boss made an upsetting face to him.

The assistant: 'Please,'

He turned on the volume, and he signed along the way with their conversation so that Boss could understand.

Boss looked carefully at the movement of the man across him. Now, he knew that she was not a normal college girl. And the sentence she spoke made his eyes wide open.

The assistant: I don't know what freedom really is anymore. I just want to live a life and do whatever I want. I crave it so much, but after I met Boss, he made me find my other self that I never thought I could be. I enjoy every minute with him. It's just staying with him—being with him. That makes me not want to look or seek other things anymore. Maybe he is my freedom.'

And suddenly, he pushed his car door and ran to her, hoping to see her still sitting there. He saw a tiny girl standing there all alone. Her long winter hair flew with air; it was the most beautiful scene he had ever seen.

He ran to her and hugged her from behind.

"Boss?" Killa called him out softly and made a shocked sound. She remembered his hug, tight arms that wrapped around her, and the coffee bean smell caught her nose. "What are you? How? Did.. How come?" She turned to see him and couldn't even get the sentence out.

And then he kissed her right away.

'Wha—' she was so surprised and shocked,

Boss kissed her intensely, holding her face, grabbing her waist, pulling her closer,

'What is this?' Killa thought and tried to wake herself up while her mouth was crushed by the man for whom she had fallen.

Then he pulled his lips back from her.

"Huh…" She lightly grasped the air; Killa was so confused and fluttered.

"Can we talk?" Boss asked, rubbing her cheek,

They drove somewhere else, and they talked more like Killa's confession. She decided to tell him the truth about who she was—that she was an orphan, what she had done, and how her father raised her.

"Do you hate me after hearing all of these...what I had done.. that I'm not a good person." Killa asked hopefully. No answer from him. "I understand if you don't want to see..."

He hugged her immediately and held her in delicately. "There's no such thing as a good person, Killa. Everybody has to do…what they have to do when they have no choices." Boss said what he thought. "I don't care what you've done in the past. I like you too much to let you go...so please come back with me..." Boss wasn't afraid to say his feelings anymore.

'Is this for real?' Killa thought and looked at him with dazzling eyes in his arms; he caressed her pinkish cheeks. "Boss, I like you...I really like you. But I'm scared. If I'm back with you–if it isn't a good choice–if something bad happens to you. I can't imagine." Killa said it back with a concerned and low voice, and she was trembling for the first time.

"It won't happen, and I don't let that happen to you or me. I'll take care of you. You will not face something like that again...so please, Killa, don't be away from me...be with me," Boss was begging her.

Boss was holding Killa's hand, but the weight of his hand against her was more like grabbing her as if he were afraid to lose the owner of the thin, delicate hand. He opened the door and let Killa walk inside first. Killa just walked like there was no clue what she had to do next, but the scene that she was imagining in her head right now was so damn clear.

And suddenly, he pulled her little hand and her little body closer to him. His hands were on her waist, and he brought her toward him. At that moment, he put his lips against her lips gently but harshly enough to make Killa feel the rush from him. His left hand wrapped her waist entirely and pulled her body closer. Now he could feel her breasts under that t-shirt against his body that was full of muscle. He decided to release his right hand from her little hand and raise it, then put it behind her neck so his lips could feel hers even more. Both of them opened their mouths a little without saying anything, but their tongues touched each other instead. He put his tongue deeper like he wanted her so badly. She leaned back following the weight of his movement, and then Killa released her lips and looked up at his eyes.

"You're so beautiful..." Boss said to her softly with his deep voice, but his gaze said something more.

Killa breathed the air out softly, letting her lungs be thinner than her head. She raised both hands and touched his face. Her left thump moved slightly down to his upper lip and then down to his bottom lip, and her right hand moved down on his tightly wide chest.

'God...' Boss thought, and his temperature was higher and higher, and something under his chest was pounding so bad against her little hand on it, and yes, he was still holding her close to him.

Their eyes locked, and she decided to put her hands behind his thick neck, pulled herself up, and kissed him like she had decided that the man in front of her right now was the man she would like to be with forever.

He held her and hugged her even tighter, kissing her back to answer her. He held her up like a baby precious doll. Her face now was higher than his. He chinned up, and she looked down. It seemed like their lips couldn't even get off each other.

"Boss..."

"Call me Eamon...please."

"…Eamon,"

Eamon took her the softest white bed sheet and put her down gently. He wished to hold her body against his for a long time. Hopefully, their first night was long enough to compete with the sun that was almost coming out.
