"You couldn't have escaped me, Alex," Gabriel said, pushing the door open. Behind him was Karmen in his poised look.
Gabriel stepped inside while Zander lowered his eyes, taking a step away. On the other hand, Alex asked Gabriel not to come closer to him. He wondered if the eldest prince couldn't either stop Gabriel. He gazed at Gabriel's hands, which were empty.
