Dr. Alex suddenly shot to his feet, startling everyone around him.
One person even spat out the tea they had just sipped.
"Dr. Alex, what's with the theatrics?
It's dr. Robert's birthday—can't you keep it together?"
"Exactly.
At our age, no matter what happens, we really shouldn't be getting so worked up."
Dr. Robert, too, looked at Dr. Alex with confusion.
"Dr. Alex, what's going on?"
"I..." Dr. Alex's gaze flickered toward Camilla, his words dying on his lips as his brow furrowed deeply.
He had seen her before—on the lock screen of that man from the Luther Family.
If she was bold enough to be displayed so openly as his wallpaper, then this young woman was most likely the elusive Mrs. Luther.
But matters concerning the Luther Family were strictly confidential.
Unless given explicit permission, no one was allowed to breathe a word about them.
So, no matter how curious or bewildered the others looked, Dr. Alex couldn't explain.
