"HEHEHEHEHE" (Anna)
Laughing in the background like a creep, they would have backed away from her if the others had watched her while she laughed. She laughs like a classic witch in the media because she did something she was excited about.
[Deranged Originator Level 1: This skill grants the ability to craft anything you set your mind to. From alchemy to weapons, your new talent is endless.]
[We knew you were a freak, but earning this skill by making poison darts out of teeth is a whole other level of crazy. Although no matter how creepy you are, keep going, it makes things interesting.]
"I did it." (Anna)
It took her a month and a half, but she finally managed to unlock a skill to craft anything and everything she sets her mind to. She could even ignore the direct message about her being pretty much insane. Because it doesn't matter to her, she just managed to acquire a skill that will increase the entire group's likelihood of survival, besides having her ability to heal the others.
"If you keep laughing like that, you'll give one of us nightmares." (Mark)
Mark stood outside the door to the abandoned building she took over to keep making crafts. It is a single-story house with bars covering the windows because it is probably the city's worst part. Two days ago, they finally reached their destination, or at least one of them—Kansas City, Kansas. Anna had yet to ask why they were here, but during their travels, the hill-filled lands, nearly like pitched mountains, changed to flat rocky outposts with red across the land. With what seemed like blocks of grassland that almost reached their waists, while being filled with weeds. As trees encompassed the remains of an abandoned city. When they arrived, the weather started to get colder, but they all decided to take residence by sleeping inside the same house for safety reasons. Unfortunately, even though the house was in decent shape, the former residents, or what remained of them, had to be cleaned up. They had decided to burn the remains of their bodies in a pyre since the rest of it would probably get scavenged by the wildlife and monsters in the area. From deer to monsters, nature had started taking back over.
"Anyway, what did you manage to make?" (Mark)
Mark came over and sat down on one of the empty dining room tables of the house, where Anna took over to do all of her crafts.
"Remember that weird gecko last week that I took all of the teeth from?" (Anna)
"Yes, I can remember vividly you smiling weirdly while pulling all of its teeth." (Mark)
"Well, the teeth had a natural component that made them unnaturally sharp, so if any of us got bitten, even Kyle would have probably taken damage." (Anna)
"Even with his skill, Tough skin?" (Mark)
"Theoretically, yes." (Anna)
"I thought only magical attacks or blunt attacks could damage him." (Mark)
"Thats the thing, the teeth have a magical aspect that sharpens them, but it doesn't come from them being alive, it's just naturally part of the teeth themselves." (Anna)
Anna spoke with giddy excitement as she grabbed all the darts she had made, all placed in a rolled sleeve and box to prevent injury.
"So what did you do with them then?" (Mark)
Mark had been trying his best to get along with Anna and make her willing to be around him alone once more, and at this point, Anna, although she doesn't trust his outburst of anger, does trust him being near her and is willing to be herself. Not that she would change her behavior just for a single person.
"I made poison darts out of them." (Anna)
Anna showed him what they looked like. Darts of bone that were once curved were treated and managed to be altered and straightened into darts, while a small imprint on the side, looking like grooves near the middle but close to the tip, revealed small holes filled with a paste-like purple substance.
"Poison?" (Mark)
"Oh yes, a few of the monsters we have killed and plants I've gathered were toxic, it took a lot of work, but it should affect anything hit by the darts with weakness, and if enough stabs into the body should cause death." (Anna)
"Anna, if it weren't for the fact that our group knows you, that would scare us." (Greyson)
Greyson stood outside the now-open door, making Anna jump in surprise.
"Did something happen? Why are both of you now here?" (Anna)
Mark looked like he wanted to hide in a corner, while Greyson had a predatory grin.
"That's simple enough. Mark ran away from training today and came here to avoid his brother. I figured he would be here out of all places." (Greyson)
Anna stared at Mark as if all the pieces made sense, but instead of feeling angry, she laughed.
"You do know I won't stop him from taking you right?" (Anna)
Mark looked like he wanted to hide, but Greyson swung his arm over Mark before he could bolt, stopping Mark in his movements entirely.
"I am learning how to use a shield to become the tank, so, no, you aren't allowed to skimp out on training. Anyways, Anna, are you almost done on making the shield?" (Greyson)
"It's almost finished, but how are you liking the temporary one for training?" (Anna)
