"How dare you. How dare you touch my daughter in front of everyone!"
Caliste's eyebrows raised, not expecting her to start shouting at him.
Alder's wife had always been quite tranquil as far as he could remember. Something had definitely changed about her.
Caliste stayed silent as Lana continued to shout.
"Why do you care so much? Your daughter was the one who came to me," Caliste answered with a shrug. "It's none of your business."
Lana shook her head. "Fleur cannot go around fooling with some boys! Especially those like you! Promise me that you'll stay away from her from now on!"
Caliste laughed. "And what if I don't? I like Fleur; she's nice…" Caliste turned and looked Lana dead in the eyes. "Especially that body of hers; it's amazing. She must take after you…"
Lana blushed slightly at those words.
