Mr. Hollister watched as Rino walked out on them, not even leaving the so-called trash properties behind.
A faint trace of anxiety crossed his aged features, as he couldn't help but wonder what is it that would be running in Rino's mind in the moment.
He, however, let it slide as he thought it wasn't going to be much of his business. All he needed to do was to deliver the message he has as Late Moses Carter's lawyer. Speaking of which, he turned to Josh and his mother, Rose Carter.
"I would have preferred him to be here before we proceed further," he said, unfolding a sealed envelope that has a golden crest embossed on it.
"There's something you both must know. It was meant for the two brothers, but I guess, the more mature adult should be aware as well, to bare witness in the future."
Josh crossed his arms, shooting Hollister a half-suspicious gaze before leaning back on the chair. Rose, as well, offered a slight nod, a flicker of curiosity evident in her eyes.
