Chapter 62 - Chapter 61

A New Day

The sun rose over Konoha, casting a golden glow across the village. The training ground was bathed in warm sunlight, and the air was filled with the scent of fresh grass and blooming flowers. Team 7, led by Kakashi, gathered for their morning training session. The sky was clear, and the weather was perfect for a day of hard work.

Perhaps because of Kakashi's presence, there were no curious ninjas lingering around to watch Naruto today. The absence of onlookers made Naruto feel a little uneasy, as if something was missing. He had grown accustomed to the stares and whispers, but today, the quiet felt strange.

"The weather is so nice," Sakura said, closing her eyes and tilting her face toward the sun. She took a deep breath, savoring the scent of the grass. "It's perfect for an outing."

Naruto smiled, his hands resting behind his head. "Sometimes, a little peace is all you need to recharge. Training beyond your limits is important, but so is taking a moment to relax."

Sasuke, standing a few feet away, crossed his arms and scoffed. "Enough chit-chat. Let's get started already."

Kakashi, ever the picture of calm indifference, clapped his hands to get their attention. "Alright, team. Today, we'll be focusing on individual training. Sasuke, Sakura, come with me." He created two shadow clones, each one leading Sasuke and Sakura away to separate areas of the training ground. Kakashi had spent the previous night analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, and he had tailored specific training regimens for each of them.

Once Sasuke and Sakura were out of sight, Kakashi turned to Naruto. "Now, Naruto, let's see what you've got. What ninjutsu do you know?"

Naruto grinned and began forming hand seals. He demonstrated a series of basic techniques, including the Shadow Clone Jutsu and a few wind-style ninjutsu. Despite the intensity of the demonstration, Naruto's breathing remained steady, and his chakra reserves seemed barely touched. Thanks to his Uzumaki heritage, Naruto possessed an immense amount of chakra, even without tapping into the Nine-Tails' power.

Kakashi couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy. As the "Copy Ninja," he was known for his vast arsenal of techniques, but his chakra reserves were relatively limited. Using just a few high-level jutsu left him drained, a side effect of the Sharingan he had inherited from Obito. Watching Naruto effortlessly expend chakra was a stark reminder of the difference between them.

"Your Bloodline Limit is impressive," Kakashi said, masking his envy with a calm tone. "And your Ghost Dao techniques are unique, but they lack the raw power needed for serious combat. I think it's time I taught you a new jutsu—one that will give you the offensive edge you need."

Naruto's eyes lit up with curiosity. "What kind of jutsu?"

Kakashi's visible eye curved into a smile. "It's called the Rasengan. It's an A-rank, chakra-based technique created by the Fourth Hokage. But be warned—it's incredibly difficult to master. It requires precise chakra control and a lot of patience. You might find it frustrating at first."

Naruto's grin widened. "Sounds like a challenge. I'm in!"

Kakashi led Naruto to a shaded area under a large tree and began explaining the principles of the Rasengan. "The Rasengan involves concentrating chakra in your palm and spinning it in multiple directions simultaneously. The goal is to create a stable, high-density chakra sphere that can cause massive damage upon impact."

To demonstrate, Kakashi extended his right hand, palm up. A swirling mass of chakra began to form, condensing into a bright blue sphere. The air around it crackled with energy. "This is the Rasengan," Kakashi said, pressing the sphere against a nearby tree trunk. With a deafening crash, the tree exploded into splinters, leaving a gaping hole where the Rasengan had struck.

Naruto whistled in appreciation. "That's some serious power. I can see why it's an A-rank technique."

Kakashi nodded. "The hardest part is controlling the chakra. It requires incredible focus and precision. Most ninjas take months, if not years, to master it."

Naruto extended his right hand, palm up, and closed his eyes. He focused on the flow of his chakra, imagining it swirling and condensing in his palm. To Kakashi's astonishment, a small blue sphere began to form, growing steadily until it was the size of a tennis ball.

"Looks like I got it," Naruto said, a hint of pride in his voice. He gently tossed the Rasengan toward the ground. The sphere hit the dirt with a thunderous explosion, sending a cloud of dust and debris into the air. When the smoke cleared, a sizable crater marked the spot where the Rasengan had landed.

Kakashi stared at Naruto, his usual calm demeanor shattered. "You… you just mastered the Rasengan in under a minute."

Naruto scratched the back of his head, grinning sheepishly. "I guess it's not as hard as you made it sound."

Kakashi's eye twitched. He had spent weeks mastering the Rasengan himself, and here was Naruto, picking it up like it was child's play. For the first time in a long while, Kakashi felt a pang of self-doubt. Was he really that untalented?

But Naruto wasn't done. He closed his eyes again, his expression serene. "You know, Kakashi-sensei, I think I can take this a step further. If I combine my chakra with my Ghost Dao techniques, I might be able to create something even more powerful."

Before Kakashi could respond, Naruto's palm began to glow with a brilliant white light. A new sphere formed, this one radiating an otherworldly energy. The air around it seemed to warp, and the ground beneath Naruto's feet cracked under the pressure.

Kakashi's eyes widened in shock. "What… what is that?"

Naruto smiled, his voice calm but filled with determination. "I'll call it the Wuyin Guidao: Wuying Rasengan. A Ghost Dao version of the Rasengan, powered by limitless energy."

With a flick of his wrist, Naruto launched the white sphere toward a nearby tree. The moment it made contact, the tree disintegrated into ash, leaving no trace of its existence.

Kakashi stood frozen, his mind struggling to process what he had just witnessed. Naruto's talent was beyond anything he had ever seen. The boy had not only mastered the Rasengan in minutes but had also created a new technique that surpassed it in power.

In the sealed space within Naruto's mind, Minato's voice echoed with pride. "The limitless potential of the natural Ghost Dao, combined with the Rasengan's destructive force. You've created something truly extraordinary, Naruto."

Naruto turned to Kakashi, his smile as bright as the sun. "What do you think, sensei? Not bad, right?"

Kakashi sighed, a mixture of awe and resignation in his voice. "Not bad at all, Naruto. Not bad at all."
