The atmosphere crackled with energy as the crowd chanted in unison, their voices rising like a tide. "We will not be silenced! Justice for Kaelion!" The sheer volume of their collective spirit reverberated through the square, shaking the very foundations of fear that had held them captive for so long.
The lead guard exchanged nervous glances with his men, who were clearly unsettled by the fierce determination of the crowd. Seeing their hesitation, Evelyn seized the opportunity. "You serve a king who has forgotten the people he rules! You know this is wrong; you feel it in your bones. Join us instead of enforcing his tyranny!"
A murmur rippled through the guards, and for a brief moment, the tension seemed to fracture. Some of them lowered their weapons, caught in the pull of the crowd's fervor. But the lead guard, unwilling to back down, raised his sword again. "You are all traitors! Disperse now, or we will take action!"
