Victor shook his head. "Nothing specific."
Elena looked back at Damian, her expression softening. "If you're against it, I'll decline. It's not made public yet."
Truth be told, Elena wasn't too keen on it herself. She had simply gone along with the moment, figuring it wouldn't cost her anything.
Damian thought for a few seconds before nodding slightly. "It's fine."
Victor's eyes widened. "Boss…"
How could he let that old fox have his way so easily?
Damian's lips lifted in a subtle smirk. "It's beneficial for you to have the Langleys backing you as their daughter."
Theodore Cross had already disowned Elena. She no longer had family support, no one standing behind her. Until Damian had fully restructured the Blackwell family, having the Langley family's protection wasn't the worst option.
Victor came to the same conclusion, so he let the matter drop.
