Danny was inviting Vald as a show of trust. Vlad had changed after realizing how bad Jack and Maddie had gotten. Deciding to redeem himself, he changed his lifestyle significantly. Danny initially thought it was a trick, but after a while, he realized Vlad had genuinely changed for the better.
"I still don't trust him," said Dan.
"Well, if he does anything fishy, I'll allow you to have the first hit," said Danny.
"I can live with that," replied Dan.
"What about you? Ellie," asked Danny.
Danielle thought about it for a minute.
"I've forgiven him, especially since he helped take down the GIW," said Dani confidently, nodding to show her agreement.
"Okay then," said Danny, clapping his hands together.
He got up out of their cuddle pile on the floor.
"Now, who wants to do some baking with me,"
"Me!" both of them said in excitement.
"Okay, what shall I make then,"
"Cookies!" said Dani.
"Brownies!" said Dan.
Dani and Dan started a staring contest at both their answers.
"Okay, we can make it, so we don't need to fight," Danny said calmly.
"Ah, Mama, can we give some to Alfred?" asked Dani, giving Danny the puppy dog's eyes.
Danny had to look away. Dan was confused. He didn't know anyone named Alfred.
"Who is Alfred?"
"Right, Mama, you haven't told Dan about our new brother Alfred," said Dani.
"So that's why you brought up us getting new siblings," said Dan, connecting all the dots.
"Yes, I met him after I met with Clockwork," said Danny.
"So I got a baby brother?" asked Dan.
"Yes,"
"Great, always wanted one!"
"Okay, then let's go bake then,"
"Yeah!" shouted Dani.
They made their way to the kitchen. Preheated the oven to the correct time and pulled out the mixer.

They were now cleaning up while the cookies and brownies cooled.
"Mom, I've been meaning to ask if you're going to stay in Amity Park," Dan said.
"No, I just don't know where we're going yet, as it has to have plenty of ectoplasm," said Danny.
"Well, I know of three places that fulfil those needs: Fawcett City, Gotham, and Central City," said Dani.
"We'll have to do a more in-depth investigation to make sure its ectoplasm isn't polluted with either bad circulation or even crushed, but even then, I think I could deal with it easily," Danny said, thinking deeply about it.
"You have that well-thought-out Mom," said Dan.
"Well, I want you guys to be healthy and happy," Danny said.
Dan and Dani were happy with how much Danny thought of them. They jumped at Danny's, bowling him over to give him hugs.
"I'm glad you guys are happy, but you didn't need to tackle me," Danny said, laughing.
Dan and Dani looked at their Mom and smiled. This moment was pure bliss, and they did not want it to end.
"Well, I think the cookies and brownies are ready to eat. Do you guys want ice cream on it,"
They both nodded.
