The tension between her and Rai simmered as he pounded on the bathroom door. "Rox, is that you?"
A muffled, irritated voice responded. "Who's asking?"
Rai groaned, rolling his eyes dramatically. "Hurry up and get your ass out of the bathroom. This isn't a spa!"
Kara crossed her arms, still flustered. "There's someone in there," she muttered, though she knew it was obvious.
Rai smirked, his green eyes glinting with amusement. "Yeah, no kidding. Everyone in this house prefers that bathroom. Don't ask me why."
She opened her mouth to retort, but the bathroom door swung open, and Rox emerged, water dripping from his hair and sliding down his torso.
His sharp eyes locked onto hers for a brief moment before they flickered to Rai.
"Get off me," Rox grumbled as Kara tripped forward, landing awkwardly against him.
Her cheeks burned with embarrassment. "It's not like I wanted to fall into your arms," she snapped, pushing away from him.
Rox moved aside, and she stumbled, landing on her backside with a sharp gasp. "Ow! God, you're a douchebag!"
Without so much as a glance, Rox strode down the hallway, his broad shoulders disappearing into the shadows.
Rai chuckled, stepping over her as if she were invisible. "You know, if you ogle everyone like that, it kinda makes you a pervert."
Her head snapped toward him, eyes blazing. "Say the guy who uses a communal bathroom when you all have your own!"
Rai grinned, his gaze flicking down to her legs. "Nice legs, by the way."
She gasped, scrambling to her feet. "You're insufferable!"
Before he could reply, the blond boy, Gen, appeared, his face set in a scowl. "What an eyesore this early in the morning," he muttered, his disdain evident.
