''Not brainless and muddleheaded,'' Adrian raised his hand and stroked her hair, his gaze soft.
The simple exchange between the two stunned Esther. She stood up, looking at them dumbly with her hands shaking.
It was only when Ella gazed at her did Esther recover from her daze and greeted Adrian, ''Mr. King.''
Ella frowned and slowly stood up from the couch, ''It's really improper and distant the way you address him now. In the future, address him as brother-in-law."
Esther's face blanched.
