It's been 1,000 years since supernatural phenomena began to emerge, followed closely by the appearance of supernatural beings that humans came to call Monsters. These monsters began to rampage immediately upon arrival, nearly driving humanity to extinction.
No human-made weapon could harm them. Eventually, all nations agreed to use their ultimate trump card—nuclear weapons. The result? Nothing. Weapons capable of annihilating entire regions or states were ineffective against the monsters.
Just as humanity lost all hope, something unexpected happened.
An individual appeared, riding a dragon, and killed nearly 80% of the monsters, saving humanity from extinction. After this miraculous act, he disappeared without a trace. No one knew who he was or where he went. Despite numerous efforts to find him, he was never seen again. To honor this mysterious savior, humanity bestowed upon him the title:
"The First Hero of Humanity—The Dragon Sage."
In time, humanity discovered it too could wield supernatural powers—healing, superhuman strength, flight, telekinesis, and more. They began to master these abilities to defend against further monster invasions.
Though individuals grew powerful—capable of leveling mountains with a punch or lifting hundreds of thousands of kilos—none dared call themselves the strongest. All knew they were but insects compared to the one who had saved them.
As the centuries passed, the story of the Dragon Sage faded into myth.

It's been 1,000 years since that catastrophe engulfed the world. Humanity was at the edge of extinction when someone asked for my help. Even though I hated them for what they'd done to me, I helped—because I owed a great debt.
At first, it was difficult, but they managed to survive.
Now, even after a millennium, I haven't aged a day. In fact, I grow stronger with each passing moment.
What should I do now? There's nothing entertaining left.
"Hey! Let's go. It's getting late."
"Okay, I'm coming."
Let's see what the future holds for me...
