Part 1: Attack
The masked figure lunged at Hikaru, moving with terrifying speed.
A spinning side kick – aimed straight at his head.
Hikaru barely managed to duck, his heart pounding. The force of the missed kick shattered the wall beside him, sending cracks sprawling across its surface.
Hikaru's eyes widened as he glanced at the destroyed wall.
"What… the hell?!"
But there was no time to think.
The figure was already coming at him again.
A flurry of punches – rapid, precise, relentless.
Hikaru dodges, weaving through the attacks, barely able to keep up. His arms stung as he blocked some of the hits, but he could feel it.
This wasn't a mugging.
The masked figure wasn't after his wallet.
Wasn't after his phone.
Wasn't after anything he owned.
He was here for one thing.
He was here to take Hikaru down.
But why?
Then–
The figure threw a powerful punch.
Hikaru dodged at the last second.
CRACK!
The masked figure's fist lodged deep into the concrete wall, the force splintering the bricks like they were made of paper.
Hikaru's breath hitched.
"Now's my chance!"
Without hesitation, he turned on his heels and ran.
The masked figure let out a low grunt and ripped his hand free – tearing straight through the wall – before bolting after him.
Hikaru glanced over his shoulder.
His blood ran cold.
He's catching up.
"He's… too fast!"
Before he could react–
WHAM!
The figure tackled him, slamming him into the ground.
Pain exploded through Hikaru's body. He tried to push himself up–
A fist drove into his stomach.
The air left his lungs.
Another punch – this time to his face.
Then his stomach again.
And then – a devastating kick sent him crashing into the alley wall.
His vision blurred. His body ached. His breathing was ragged.
Slowly, he lifted his head, staring at the masked figure through hazy eyes.
The figure loomed over him, his masked face unreadable.
Then–
"I didn't think the Element of Light would be this pathetic."
Hikaru froze.
"Element of Light?"
What was he talking about?
His mind raced for answers, but his body could barely move. He gritted his teeth.
"Who… are you?" Hikaru managed to ask, his voice strained.
The masked figure remained silent.
Instead, he simply raised his hand, ready to finish the job.
Hikaru's breath caught in his throat.
The fist came down–
He clenched his eyes shut, bracing for impact.
Then–
Light.
A brilliant, blinding light erupted from Hikaru's body, engulfing the entire alleyway.
The masked figure stumbled back, momentarily disoriented.
Hikaru's eyes shot open.
"What was that?!"
His hands glowed. His entire body felt… different.
Before he could even process what was happening, instinct took over.
He raised his hand–
A surge of radiant energy shot forward.
The masked figure had no time to react. The blast struck him square in the chest, sending him crashing into the wall.
Hikaru stared at his smoking hand in shock.
"What… did I just do?"
His breath was uneven, his heart hammering. His mind screamed for an explanation, but none come.
Then–
Laughter.
A deep, amused chuckle.
Hikaru's eyes snapped back to the masked figure, who was already picking himself up from the rubble.
"So…" the figure mused.
"The Element of Light has finally awakened."
There it was again.
"Element of Light?"
What did it mean?
The masked figure dusted himself off and exhaled.
"Well then… I suppose we'll have to discuss this another time."
Before Hikaru could react–
He was gone.
Vanished.
The alley was silent once more.
Hikaru fell to his knees, his breathing uneven. His hand still tingled with remnants of that strange light.
"What was that?"
He started at his palm, the last traces of energy flickering away.
Too many questions. No answers.
Before he could gather his thoughts–
A voice called out to him.
Hikaru snapped his head toward the source of the sound
Two figures stood at the entrance of the alley.
A man.
And a woman.
Part 2: Driving
"Hey, are you okay?" the man asked, his voice calm but firm.
Hikaru remained on the ground, his body still aching from the fight. He looked up, his vision clearing enough to make out the figures standing before him.

Satoshi offered Hikaru a hand.
"My name is Satoshi, and this is my wife, Reina."
Hikaru hesitated before gripping Satoshi's hand, wincing as he stood up.
"Hikaru."
Satoshi gave him a slight nod.
"You should go to the police station and tell them what just happened."
Hikaru stiffened.
The police station?
What exactly was he supposed to say?
That a masked figure with inhuman strength attacked him?
That light exploded from his body like some kind of superpower?
Would they even believe him? Or would they just laugh it off?
Then–
"We'll give you a ride there," Satoshi offered.
Hikaru blinked, snapping out of his thoughts.
They were offering him a ride?
Something about this situation felt off.
But… after what just happened, did he really want to walk home alone?
Reluctantly, Hikaru sighed.
"Okay."
He followed them to their car.
10 Minute Later…
The black sedan rolled down the streets in silence.
Satoshi drove, his hands steady on the wheel. Reina sat beside him in the passenger seat.
And Hikaru?
He sat in the back, deep in thought.
The masked figure's words echoed in his mind.
"So… The Element of Light has finally awakened."
He rested his head against the window, staring at the passing buildings. The city lights blurred as his mind raced.
Then–
Something felt wrong.
His eyes flicked up.
They had just driven past the police station.
Hikaru frowned, sitting up straight.
"Uh… Satoshi? You just passed the station."
Silence.
His heartbeat quickened.
"Satoshi." His voice was firmer now. "Did you hear me? You just passed the police station."
Again – nothing.
A cold feeling crept up Hikaru's spine.
"Am I… getting kidnapped?"
His gaze flickered to the car door handle.
If he jumped out now, he'd definitely injure himself. But at least he'd be free.
His fingers inched toward the handle–
"I wouldn't do that if I were you."
Hikaru's breath hitched.
His eyes snapped to the rearview mirror – where Reina was watching him.
"You'd only hurt yourself," she said flatly.
A nervous chuckle slipped from Hikaru's lips.
"Well, I wouldn't have even thought about it if you guys weren't acting so damn suspicious!"
Reina didn't respond.
"First, a masked lunatic attacks me, and now you two? Today just keeps getting better, huh?"
"Relax," Reina said. "We're not kidnapping you. "We're taking you somewhere safe."
Hikaru narrowed his eyes.
"Oh, really? Because that's exactly what a kidnapper would say!"
Reina ignored him.
Satoshi, meanwhile, kept driving, his expression unreadable.
The car pushed forward into the darkened streets, heading farther and farther from the city.
20 Minutes Later…
The vehicle rolled to a stop.
Hikaru stepped out, glancing around.
They had arrived in front of an old, abandoned building. The structure was massive, its stone walls weathered by time.
A strange symbol was carved into the entrance, barely visible under the dim light.
Hikaru turned to Satoshi and Reina, his suspicion growing.
"Where… did you guys just take me?"
Satoshi exhaled.
"You're in our safehouse, Hikaru."
Hikaru's expression darkened.
"Safehouse?"
"Yes," Reina said, stepping forward. "But more importantly–"
She gestured toward the entrance.
"Welcome to the Order of the Elements."
Part 3: Order of the Elements
"Order of the Elements?" Hikaru repeated, his voice laced with suspicion.
"Yes," Satoshi confirmed. "But for now, let's not talk out here. Come inside, Hikaru."
Without another word, Satoshi and Reina stepped into the old building.
Hikaru hesitated, glancing at the decayed structure once more.
On the outside, it looked abandoned – lifeless.
But something about it… felt off.
With a deep breath, he followed them in.
Inside the Safehouse
As soon as Hikaru stepped through the doors, his breath caught in his throat.
The inside was nothing like the outside.
The worn, decaying exterior had been nothing more than a façade.
Inside, the space was modern, sleek, and high-tech – as if he had stepped into the operations room of a covert organization. Large monitors lined the walls, displaying data, maps, and surveillance footage.
The air buzzed with faint mechanical hums.
Hikaru's gaze wandered across the room until–
He froze.
His eyes locked onto a large bulletin board.
Pinned at the centre was a photo of himself – circled in red.
His stomach twisted.
Beside his photo, three words were written in bold letters.
ELEMENT OF LIGHT?
His heart pounded.
Slowly, he turned to Satoshi and Reina, his voice firm.
"Tell me the truth. What do you want from me? And what is the Order of the Elements?"
Satoshi folded his arms and smirked.
"Well… The Order of the Elements is a secret organization, founded eight years ago. And it's run by the three of us."
Hikaru narrowed his eyes. "Secret organization?"
Reina nodded. "Yes. Our mission is to find the ten Elemental Warriors."
"Elemental Warriors?" Hikaru echoed.
The memory of the light from earlier flashed in his mind. The way it erupted from his body in the alleyway.
He clenched his fist.
"That light from earlier… Was that –?"
"Yes, Hikaru." Satoshi confirmed, his expression serious. "You are the Element of Light."
The words hit Hikaru like a shockwave.
"The… Element of Light?"
His mind raced back to his fight with the masked figure.
"I didn't think the Element of Light would be this pathetic."
They knew what he was before even he did.
Reina placed a hand on Hikaru's shoulder, her voice gentle.
"When you fought the masked figure, your powers awakened–"
Hikaru scoffed. "'Fought' is a strong word. More like 'got my ass kicked.'"
Reina chuckled softly. "Fair enough. But the point is, your awakening confirms it. You're the chosen one, Hikaru."
Hikaru took a step back, shaking his head.
"But… why me?" His voice was quiet now. "I'm just a college student. Why would the Element of Light choose me?"
Satoshi sighed. "We don't know for sure. All we know is that you've been chosen to bear this power."
Hikaru clenched his jaw. The weight of this revelation was crushing.
His life had been normal – until today.
He wanted it to stay normal.
His thoughts spiraled–
What will his family think?
Are there more people like the masked figure?
What does this all mean for his future?
Then, something clicked in his mind.
He frowned.
"Wait a second…"
Satoshi and Reina both looked at him.
"You said the Order was founded by the three of you."Hikaru's gaze sharpened. "But I only see two of you."
Silence.
Then – Satoshi and Reina smiled.
"You're right," Satoshi said. "The third member is…"
A chilling feeling ran down Hikaru's spine.
He suddenly felt a presence behind him.
Someone was there.
Slowly, he turned–
His breath stopped.
His eyes widened in shock.
Standing before him was–
The Masked Figure.
Part 4: Teshii
Hikaru stood face to face with the masked figure.
"You!" Hikaru growled, his fists clenching.
Satoshi raised a hand. "Relax, Hikaru, he's–"
"Relax?!" Hikaru snapped. "The guy who kicked my ass is standing right in front of me!"
He turned to the masked figure, who, to his complete disbelief, was casually waving at him – like they were old friends.
Reina sighed. "You can take off the mask now, Teshii."
Hikaru blinked. "Huh?"
The masked figure chuckled and lifted his hand to his mask, pulling it off.
Character Introduction

With a dramatic flourish, the man bowed deeply, holding his mask in one hand.
"My name is Teshii, and it is nice to beat–" he caught himself, smirking. "I mean, meet you." Hikaru glared.
Teshii was lean, muscular, and built like an athlete.
He wore his signature red-and-orange fleece over a casual shirt and jeans, paired with white sneakers.
A pair of crimson glasses rested on his nose, making him look more like a mischievous delinquent than an elite warrior.
Satoshi gestured toward him. "You see, Hikaru… Teshii is the third member of the Order of the Elements."
Reina stepped forward. "Teshii has been watching you for a long time. He believed you were the Element of Light."
Teshii grinned and threw an arm around Hikaru's shoulders. "And I was right!"
Hikaru immediately shoved him off. "DID YOU HAVE TO BEAT ME UP IN THE ALLEY?!"
Teshii, completely shameless: "Yes. Otherwise, you wouldn't have awakened your power."
Hikaru glared harder. "How did you even know that I was the Element of Light?"
Teshii winked. "That's a secret, Sunshine."
Hikaru's face twitched. "Sunshine?"
Teshii smirked. "Yep. You're all 'Light' now, right?"
Before Hikaru could throw a punch, Satoshi cleared his throat. "Look, Hikaru, I know this is a lot, but please – help us find the other Elements."
Teshii suddenly squinted at him. "Wait a second… Hikaru? I bet you have a sister named Hikari, don't you?"
Hikaru gave him a deadpan look. "Geez, what gave that away?"
Teshii smirked. "Because 'Hikaru' and 'Hikari' both mean 'Light' in English."
POW!
Teshii crashed to the floor, cluthing his head in pain. Reina stood over him, fist raised.
Her voice was calm, yet chillingly cold. "Teshii… let Satoshi finish his damn sentence."
Teshii saluted weakly from the ground. "S-sorry, ma'am."
Satoshi sighed, turning back to Hikaru. "So, as I was saying, Hikaru, will you help us?" He extended a hand.
Hikaru hesitated.
What did this mean for him?
Would he have to quit university?
Would he have to leave his family?
He turned to his right–
Teshii was beside him, whispering.
"Accept it. Accept it. Accept it."
Hikaru stared at him in disbelief. "Are you seriously peer pressuring me into joining?"
Teshii nodded enthuasiastically.
With a defeated sigh, Hikaru turned back to Satoshi.
Then–
He shook his hand.
…Not because he wanted to.
But because Teshii was literally breathing down his neck.
As soon as their hands met, Satoshi smiled. "Great. Now that's settled!"
He turned to Teshii. "You can do your job now – train him."
Hikaru's entire body froze.
"Wait, what?!" His head snapped toward Satoshi, then to Reina, then to Teshii.
Satoshi smirked. "Teshii will be training you to control the Element of Light."
Hikaru immediately threw up his hands. "NO!"
Teshii clapped excitedly. "YES! Now I can beat you up properly!"
Hikaru glared, pointing at him. "YOU PRESSURED ME INTO JOINING JUST SO YOU COULD BEAT ME UP AGAIN, DIDN'T YOU?!"
Teshii looked away. "Maybe."
Satoshi ignored their bickering. "Hikaru."
Hikaru sighed heavily. "What now?"
Satoshi's expression turned serious.
"There's one more thing I need to ask of you."
Satoshi opened his mouth–
TO BE CONTINUE!!!
