Meanwhile, more than a few floors away from the two, specifically on the top floor, the room was layered in ice, both sides of the walls and the roof had a thick layer of ice covering them.
"Alright to recap, Kirishima you will stall Bakugou for a few minutes get him to sweat as much as possible, I'll intercept my brother and keep him busy and Todoroki you'll deal with Bakugou when he arrives after he's finished dealing with Kirishima"
Momo summarised the basics of their plan, and the two boys gave her nod in understanding.
Interestingly enough, she was out the window and was being held up by a grappling gun that was attached to the roof, ready to hoist herself up. The fake bomb was strapped to her back. It was quite light, barely heavier than backpack.
"Alright, let's move"
She said, and Kirishima made his way out of the room while she let the gun pull her body up towards the roof.
Oddly enough, although she was confident enough to know her brother, she still felt nervous about the possibility of him not being as predictable as she thought.
She quickly reached the roof of the building, and she quickly removed the bomb from her back and began to make her preparations.
As she began to think, Momo couldn't help but sigh, having more fat in her body would make things much easier and but it was fine, both her breast fat and thigh fat should be enough at least for the distraction.
She inhaled sharply to focus before she began to create a thin metal wire, one that would be incredibly long, long enough to help with her plan. Its steadiness only needed to be slightly above average.
She figured she had at least ten minutes before her brother showed up, fifteen if he's a little more patient than usual.
This was once again another chance to show him that she can handle herself and doesn't need him here to look out for her. If he does not want to be a hero, then there is zero reason he should be here.
"You can't babysit me forever, Taro"
She whispered to herself as she continued to work on her plan, Momo planned to use the rules to her advantage.
Taro's greatest strength, at least according to her, is his ability to fly. it granted him great speed to the point that it's impossible to react if he goes fast enough.
This means that he doesn't even need to fight, he just needs to just fly and capture the bomb before anyone can react, however Momo knows her brother well and he will never pass up a fight even if it's just to show off.
"I just need to make it difficult for him to fly and ensure he stays on the ground"
She whispered to herself again before finishing with the wire and then creating clampers, connected them to the metal wire, and then had them clamp on each corner of the roof. She tried to pull on them with all her might but was unsuccessful.
"hmm hopefully he doesn't realise too early"
She was sure once he got bored of playing around he's going to go for the bomb, but by then, Kirishima would have already captured their bomb, so it was fine.

Bakugou and Taro ascended the building, checking each room for the bomb. They had ignored the lower floors, as they guessed no way the enemy would place their bomb in the lowered floors. Instead, they believed that the last two floors should be where the enemy bomb was located.
Unfortunately, this was taking a bit too long for their tastes, and their patience was beyond thin.
"Yeah this is bullshit!, later slow poke"
Taro expressed and mocked Bakugou, who was still behind him by quite a large margin
The young man flew out the window and then flew toward the roof. Bakugou growled and decided looking through each room was bullshit and just decided to go all the way to the top.
Reaching the end of the floor, he prepared to round the corner. At present, he wasn't using his quirk because he had realised that it might exhaust him too early, and unfortunately, that caused him to be behind Taro by a lot.
Bakugou rounded the corner and took the first step on the stairs that would send him up to the last floor. Unfortunately, as he did so, he was suddenly kicked on the chest with significant force, causing him to fly back and slam against the wall.
"Sorry dude, I can't let you go any further"
Kirishima voiced and gave Bakugou no time to breathe as he went for another attack, a knee kick aimed at Bakugou's face, however the attack crashed against the wall as Bakugou simply rolled out the way and quickly got to his fist.
"That was a cheap shot!"
The blonde shouted, referring to the earlier attack by Kirishima. He sounded upset, but there was a smile on his face.
Kirishima shrugged his shoulders, not really disagreeing with Bakugou's statement.
"If you think you can beat me with cheapshots, you got another thing coming Red hair"
Bakugou shouted again, but Kirishima didn't respond and instead took a fighting stance. The red head knew he didn't need to win. In fact, he needed to lose.
"Then put your money where your mouth is"
Kirishima said those words as he began to sprint towards Bakugou, planning to tackle the young man.
Seeing the foolish charge of his classmate Bakugou huffed in disappointment, he had thought Kirishima to be much smarter than that.
He held one hand up, and there was a crackle of small explosions before there was a resounding boom. The explosion was aimed directly at Kirishima, who was charging. Such a powerful explosion should have sent him flying back and crashing onto the wall.
however the Redhead had leapt into the air, dodging the blast, flipped over Bakugou's head and landed right behind the blonde before spinning on the balls of his feet and right as Bakugou was turning, in an attempt to counter an oncoming attack, Kirishima landed a hit on his cheek.
However, before he could be sent crashing onto the wall, Bakugou let out an explosion directly on Kirishima's torso, causing both young men to be sent flying back.
Bakugou crashed onto the wall at the end of the hallway with significant force thanks to the explosion he fired at Kirishima, which aided in him flying back.
However, the young man recovered quickly and began to run towards Kirishima, who was still struggling to stand back up. He hadn't expected the explosion and thought he would get a clean hit with a counter.
'it's a good thing I hardened at the last second'
He thought while he finally stood on his feet, although he wondered if his hero suite needed some armor, in case he gets caught off guard in the future.
Just as Kirishima had found his footing, Bakugou was already before him and delivered a powerful punch on Kirishima's cheek, forcing him to stagger back.
Bakugou then went for a kick at the young man's knees. However, Kirishima hardened his legs and blocked the attack and threw his own punch, going for his opponent's face.
Unfortunately Bakugou easily ducked down and placed both hands on the Torso of his opponent before letting out another explosion, Kirishima was quick to harden his body however the attack was too powerful and it launched him back, sending him crashing on to the wall at the other end of hall.
"Trust me, red hair, don't get up. it's for your own good"
Bakugou shouted, although it sounded like concern. The young blonde did not want to waste time with Kirishima and had to get to the bomb quickly.
Kirishima groaned, as he felt the pain of the explosion on his chest, he had hardened his entire body yet the explosion had penetrated his defences and now his chest felt like it was his by a sledge hammer.
He struggled to his feet, using the wall to try and lift himself up, but it was difficult, his legs were shaking, and he didn't seem to be able to put any strength to them.
'Get up, get up, get up! The job's not done'
He thought, encouraging his body to stand properly.
'It's not manly to leave a job undone'
He continued to motivate himself. The point was to tire out Bakugou, essentially wear him down so that Todoroki could finish him off. however, at this rate, he won't accomplish his mission if all it takes to take him down is a single explosion.
'Am I really that weak compared to him'
He asked himself, Taro had taken him out with a single punch, He got knocked on his ass with just a single attack. Sure, it was just an exercise to test out their quirks for Mr Aizawa, but even so, was his hardening so trash that a single attack was all it took?
Kirishima looked up and saw Bakugou had his back turned and was walking away. He frowned deeply, clenched his teeth, and stood firmly on his feet.
"Where are you going? I didn't hear no bell"
He called out to Bakugou and took a fighting stance, one similar to a typical boxing stance.
'I just have to harden harder, to the point his explosions no matter how powerful won't affect me'
He reassured himself, his quirk was not really that powerful to begin with. In fact, it wasn't usable and could have been considered useless, but through training and going to the gym, he got it strong enough to be able to attend UA.
'Now I just have to get it strong enough to beat Taro'
Although Bakugou was his current opponent, Kirishima believed that Taro was by far the strongest in the class and thus set his goal to at least match him or beat him. as a man aiming to be less than equal was not manly at all.
"You can't beat me Red hair, tap out and admit defeat"
Bakugou advised the young man, not out of pity but because this was taking longer than it should have, his only hope was that Taro was being held up by Todoroki, who was keeping him from capturing the bomb.
"Would you give up?"
Kirishima asked while he faced Bakugou with a renewed determination and spirit, a defiance that Bakugou did not appreciate.
"Hmph! then I'll put you down like a dog!"
Bakugou expressed as he began charging towards his opponent, planning to finish this fight that was beneath him. His true opponent was Taro. Defeating him would be the first step in proving that he has the strength to be a hero.
