Mikoto couldn't help but obey the order of the 9 years old as she went into the portal following Shisui, leaving her replica behind.

Why did you save me ?
After replacing Mikoto with a clone of White Zetsu, I left them in my apartment and performed reverse summoning jutsu. Since my clone was already attending the Academy the village should not notice my disappearance anytime soon. But even if my clone gets cancelled, I had nothing to worry since I would be leaving the village soon anyway.
After receiving my space time affinity, and knowledge about how to use it, I had tried opening portals straight into the summoning realm of the vampiric bat clan. But as I had expected the place existed somewhere outside the world. Or maybe it was in an entirely different dimension. But since the reverse summoning jutsu worked, I could only guess that it might be on some kind of far away planet.
As my vision returned I found myself falling in a very familiar place. I was at least around a few hundred feet above the ground and world free falling towards a lake that was blood red in colour. Looking to the side the sky was in its usual orange colour. Looking downward, I could clearly see the dark castle at the shore of the lake. The place has not changed a bit since I last visited it.
Unlike normal summons, vampiric bats operated with very different and bizarre rules. Despite having a summoning contract with them I couldn't just call them to the Naruto world just to help me in battles, as the lake got close, I adjusted the posture of my body to dive into the pool of blood. If not for the horrible smell coming from the lake because of the rotten corpses, the area could have been a very good setting for some kind of horror movie.
*Splash*
Just before my body entered the water I protected my skin using Chakra. Due to how acidic the blood was, my dress melted away in an instant. It was not the first time this happened. And it wouldn't be the last. I could never bring any foreign object to the territory of the vampiric bats that was not considered as a part of my body. So before setting it on the ground all of my other belongings should melt away in the lake. It was one of the most bizzare rules of my summoning clan. After getting out of the lake I stepped foot on the land that was covered with blood. The corpses of many strange animals were scattered on the ground. Most of those animals were carnivorous. At a distance, there was a large field of black grass which was being eaten by large herbivorous animals. Those animals are mainly treated as livestocks for the vampiric bats.
Ignoring everything around me I walked towards the castle. When I reached in front of the massive doors, they opened automatically. I didn't need to set foot inside, as a massive bat almost as big as me descended from above. I spread my hands as he landed on my back and secured his position by plunging his sharp nails into both of my shoulders and both sides of my abdomen. Of course it was not the first time this had happened. It was painful but I was used to the sensation. After securing its position on my body, it took off to the sky.
No matter how many times I see the pit between the main gate of the castle and the castle itself it always sends shivers down my spine. I didn't know what was inside that bottomless pit, but I had a hunch that it might be worse than that of hell.
After crossing the massive pit, the bad finally left me at the entrance of the main castle. My wounds healed as fast as they had appeared, not even leaving a mark behind. Covered in blood, from head to toe, I finally entered the castle.
I knew it was a bit dramatic but a ritual is a ritual. Walking to the centre of the hall, I came to halt in the middle of an intricate pattern.
"I need the assistance of vampiric bats." My loud voice echoed throughout the castle.
Suddenly a lot of red gleaming eyes appeared all around me, in the darkness.
As I was telling, dramatic as hell….
After all the bats present inside the castle opened their eyes, a small pair of eyes opened directly in front of me.
"We refuse !" The smallest out of all the vampiric bats flew towards me from the darkness. No one else might believe it but the pipsqueak was none other than the chief elder of all the vampiric bats. His size might be small but he was not someone I would even want to mess with.
"Tell me the price." I told him bluntly.
"Are you sureeeeeee….. ?"
"Stop being dramatic and tell me the price."
"You will have to participate in the coronation ritual of the vampire queen. Don't worry, we will not make any random soul your first partner. I am not that cruel." The old bat circled around me as he told me the price of his help.
'Not cruel my ass ! If you are not well then don't tell me about such a high price !' I thought to myself.
"I wouldn't tell you to participate in that ritual unless I deem you worthy. How about this, we will channel the pure blood through your spirit beast. He will be your first partner. If you agree to my request then you can summon as many vampiric bats as you want and whenever you want. You will never have to ask for my permission again." The old bat told me excitedly.
To put it simply, the coronation ritual of the vampire queen is a ritual in which I will become a pure blooded vampire. According to my system, upon becoming a pure blooded vampire, the properties that my body holds that of an otsutsuki and an Uzumaki, will remain unchanged. The only thing I will gain was the powers of the vampire queen and true immortality. After gaining this, even my soul will be invincible. Of course on paper it sounded very nice up until I learnt about the exact process of the ritual.
In this ritual the queen candidate will have to receive something called pure blood through their vagina, directly through a medium which is called the first partner. In short, having sex with a bat. And in my book it was impossible. At least until today. If not for his last offer then I would have outright declined him. Having vampiric bats' assistance will be useful but they were not mandatory for the success of my plan. But after listening to his last offer I stopped in my tracks. Furries might not be my first preference but Kurama was better than any bat.
"You are not joking are you ? You do know that my spirit beast, Kurama, cannot manifest physically, don't you ?" I asked the old bat for confirmation
"Of course I am not joking. And do you really think that pure blood is a physical substance ? You will be receiving it directly through your spirit. And your spirit based being imprisoned is not a problem either. You will just have to agree." The old bat told me.
"One question, how much time will it take ?" I asked the old bat.
"Here, roughly 4 days. And you will also need the consent from your spirit beast."
"Don't worry about his consent. If it is to fuck me, he will definitely agree. And I agree with your condition too. But there is a small problem. I will need to go back as soon as possible to complete a very important task in my own world. How about this, you will lend me your help now, and I will return to complete the ritual as soon as my work is done there ?" I asked the old bat.
"Fine, I agree. But you can only choose three."

While Naruko was getting allies from her summoning clan, Shisui was telling everything he has learnt so far about the village and the Uchiha clan to Mikoto.
But Mikoto was not as optimistic as Shisui about the situation. Without proper support she almost lost herself to despair knowing that no matter what her family was going to break apart that night.
"Why did you save me ?..." At that moment, for Mikoto death became a better option.
